The outside of the shop advertises all the goodies inside. It kind of reminds me of a candy store you might find in a resort/tourist town like Pensacola Beach or Gatlinburg: fudge, popcorn, candy apples, lots of different kinds of confections. A bell rang as I walked in and someone came out to serve me right away. He was pleasant and eager to share with me all about their products. He offered me samples of all the popcorn and fudge and also told me about their loyalty program and their monthly drawings. One thing I really liked was they had a lot of popular treats (turtles, chocolate covered graham crackers, chocolate covered Oreos, etc) each available in all the different varieties of chocolate (i.e. milk, dark, and white chocolate). They also have turtles made with cashews, as well as the traditional pecan. I got a dark chocolate cashew turtle for my mom, a regular milk chocolate pecan turtle for me, milk chocolate covered graham crackers for my husband, and a bag of cheddar cheese popcorn. I don't remember the total off the top of my head, but I do remember feeling it was a touch on the pricy side. Each item was wrapped nicely. Mom enjoyed her treat and so did husband. He was nice enough to give me one of the graham crackers and it was very good! Nice ratio of chocolate to graham and the chocolate was super nice and creamy. I still haven't gotten around to my chocolate but I imagine it will be similarly tasty. Haven't yet met a turtle I didn't like. The cheddar popcorn was just alright. I thought the cheese flavor was a little too artificial for my preferences, and some of the popcorn was a tiny bit stale, though none of it was unpleasant enough to keep me from eating it, lol. Just nit picking. Overall, this is a nice little shop with lovely service and especially good chocolates. Give them a try if you're passing through!

The inside of the restaurant is more spacious than I thought it would be and there's plenty of seating plus some claw games and other fun stuff. I can see kids/families having a great time here. Of course, not too many kids to be seen at like 1 PM on a Wednesday when I visited...but you get the picture, lol. My entrance made a bell ring and a staff member came out from the back within a minute. Their menu is in Spanish and English, so no trouble there. They have sweet and savory snacks from churros, fruity ice pops, and ice cream to elotes and tosti locos. They also have drinks like fruit waters and mangonadas. Like I said, I was definitely craving churros and ice cream, so I ordered the smallest thing that combined both of those, a churro sundae. That wound up being 3 scoops of ice cream and 2 large churros (for only ~$12!!) and it was absolutely way too much for just me, so bring a friend! For what it's worth, I had no trouble at all ordering and paying while speaking English. Rudimentary Spanish (especially for food items) might make your experience a little smoother, but I honestly wouldn't worry about it. I was allowed to select any combination of ice cream flavors, which was unexpected but very nice. I was a little overwhelmed by the selection but wound up with two scoops of Ferrero Rocher and one scoop of Snickers. Their ice cream is homemade and is super duper creamy and smooth, but for the generous chunks of goodies (like Snickers) mixed in. Both flavors were delicious, but I think I actually liked the Snickers flavor better! Next time. Also to my surprise and joy, my churros were served warm in the sundae! The combo of hot, crispy, cinnamony churro with cool and smooth ice cream was TO DIE FOR. The churros were absolutely perfect and exactly what I was hoping for when I came in. I'm so excited to have found this place and look forward to coming back for more treats!

Their main speciality is mini donuts with toppings. If you're from Huntsville, you probably know Bigfoot's Little Donuts -- these are similar. Bite size, fluffy, and sweet. 5 donuts come to an order and it's an appropriate size for a nice treat. There are several different topping combinations to choose from. They also have other treats like ice cream bars and pops. I ordered cookies and cream donuts for me and M&M donuts to take home to my husband. Service was polite and my donuts came out quickly. Overall, they were solid. Having tried both, I liked the cookies and cream better; the M&M toppings were just mini M&Ms (too crunchy for me with the soft, light donuts) and somewhat bland chocolate syrup. However, the Oreo pieces were plentiful and the drizzle of Oreo crème was tasty. I do wish my donuts had been a little hotter, but they were pretty busy churning out orders so I get it. Located off the main drag of highway in Madison, this is a small chain offering rolled ice cream, milkshakes, cookies, and liege waffles with decadent toppings. It's been here a little while and so I thought I'd stop by for an afternoon treat while waiting to attend an event nearby. I entered into the smallish, narrow space and was immediately struck by how...dead it felt. There was one other customer (or perhaps an owner/manager, though if it was, that's kind of disappointing given my experience). It was kind of dark inside and it smelled weird -- not noxious or anything but a little musty and certainly not a yummy, sweet, ice cream, cookie, or waffle scent like you might expect. I wasn't greeted but I wandered up to the register where an employee was listlessly -- and I mean LISTLESSLY - pushing around a few sad ice cream rolls. Every other time I've watched ice cream get rolled the worker has almost been like a hibachi chef, rapidly cutting, dicing, rolling, and flipping. This reminded me of picking a scab. I said hello; I don't remember if the young female employee said anything back, she might've muttered an acknowledgement but it definitely wasn't a warm welcome. Having never been here before, I was a little unclear on the process (eg, what are mix-ins vs toppings; what's available; are there pre-made creations, etc), but she never offered to answer any questions or render assistance, even as I stood for several minutes gazing up at the menu. All I heard from her for a while - as she continued to listlessly scrape the ice cream around - were several very loud, gnarly-sounding sniffles. They were bad enough that I started to feel concerned she was sick. These concerns were further worsened by the fact she wasn't wearing gloves. While that thought flickered through my mind, I abruptly heard her say, "I'm sorry." I assumed she was talking to me since I'd been waiting for a while, and so I reflexively said, "You're fine!" I quickly realized she wasn't speaking to me at all and was instead having a conversation on the phone through the headphones she was wearing. Nice. This went on for another minute or two -- it was a fairly personal conversation and she seemed to be consoling someone on the other end -- and I just decided it wasn't worth the hassle and frustration. Y'all know I try my best to be very forgiving of service and such but this was a bridge too far for me. I had read reviews prior to coming here about service being bad and I thought surely people were overreacting or being entitled but now I don't think so. Perhaps the product is good, but you'll be hard-pressed to sell much of it if employees aren't even willing to make it for customers.
