I really really really wish they did not make there syrups with stevia! I asked if they had any without , they said it doesn't have a after taste but that was not true. It has a very strong after taste of stevia. If you don't like that stuff like me then you will not like this! Its nasty! I rather have real sugar. The girls trips and adventures were cancelled and all that was left was their weekly zoom meetings. My daughter Desiree (cookie sales mom) contacted Kona Ice to see how we might be able to work out getting the 13 girls a special treat while adhering to social distancing rules. Kim Etter was fantastic, for no additional charge, Kona Ice mapped out a route and drove to each girls home to surprise them with a delicious sweet shaved ice! For $6 each they got a hefty size magical changing color cup filled with as many flavors as they wanted and the girls were greeted with a lei and nice toons . I bought a piña colada flavored ice and i really honestly didnt think it was gonna be that great, its a snow cone right? WRONG shaved ice is way way different and so much better! Remember snow cones as a kid where all the super sickly sweet syrup sank to the bottom and you were left sucking on a flavorless rock hard chunk of ice? Shaved ice doesnt turn into a rock, the flavor doesnt puddle to the bottom and each bite melts in your mouth with the pure flavor of piña colada! Not sugary syrup taste, i could taste pineapple & coconut and if i had some rum on hand it would have been fantastic!! Absolutely hands down 100% recommend! I heard about them from a friend who used her a couple weeks prior. What a great experience! I worked directly with the owner to schedule a time that worked (as we were inviting several of the neighbors).
