I jdiscovered a nail in my tire the afternoon before a big ride where I was going to a rally where I would some old riding buddies I hadn't seen in over a decade. They didn't have the tire I needed but mounted the tire a found at the shop next door. I had never been in before and they were very busy. The Yamaha factory demo semi was there giving demo rides and the shop was very busy. I came after 3:00 pm and they were able to get my tire mounted. The shop next door? I have spent well over $1000 dollars on gear and tires in the last year but they couldn't manage to take care of me. read more

Beware of the service department here. Brought my ATV in for a carb rebuild. As I don't ride the machine often the fuel was drained from the bowl before storage. Next ride I found the machine wouldn't run past 20 mph. When calling the dealer I was told they only warranty there work for 30 days. Had ProMobile Powersports come diagnose the problem. Turns out the dealer charged me for a rebuild that they never did, only new parts we could find was a new float. Carb was plugged full of metal shavings from where they stripped the jetting out and didn't remove the shavings. Also ruined the diaphragm with carb cleaner which is an entry level mistake I wouldn't expect from the dealer. Save your money and find a reputable mechanic that will stand by there work. read more

I was driving cross country on my Ducati and had the rear tire go out. In desperation I went to the shop 5 minutes to close and these guys sorted me out. I get terrible keeping the crew late but everyone was so nice - thank you Kirby and team! You saved my bacon! read more

My son has a little dirt bike that we ordered new tires for and they tried to tell me they don't put them on and the other guys in the shop said they could . Just felt like he was brushing us off for bigger things . Wasn't friendly at all . read more

Extremely disappointed in the service Dept. I would give ZERO stars if they were available. I brought my bike in for some service work based upon their reccomendations of what work needed to be done. I am from out of town and had a limited amount of time to get this done. Upon bringing the bike in for my scheduled appointment, the parts were never ordered! Now I have to wait 3-5 days for the parts to arrive and setup another appointment, arrange transportation to and from and deal with this headache. One of the managers (Craig) said they would cover the cost of next day air, so we shall see if they can redeem themselves or make the situation worse. Update - Craig was able to get the part in next day and fixed the same day. No discount for their mistake and my inconvience, so upgrade from ZERO to the 1 star posted. I doubt I will be coming back here in the future. read more

I brought my not running 44 year old (yes, 44 years!) XT 500 to the shop and asked if they could make it run. They didn't even laugh at me. They explained what I would probably need in the way of parts and the cost (and didn't try to pad the estimate with a lot of extras I didn't need). Within a few days, the guys had it running like it was brand new. I couldn't be more satisfied. Did I mention they didn't laugh at me? Thanks, guys. read more

I'm the easiest sort of customer, so long as you're honest and capable. I came into Snake River Yamaha with the product (a Yamaha Zuma 50F) that I wanted to purchase already in mind, no convincing needed. All that they needed to do was show me the product that I wanted so that I could finalize my decision. I was told that they would have one on the showroom floor ready for me to assess. When I arrived, they had the wrong model, and wrong year of scooter on the showroom floor. They then proceeded to try and sell me that product. I left the dealership with the promise that they would order one for me that afternoon (after I paid a $500.00 down payment) and that it would arrive the following Tuesday (I ordered it on a Friday). Tuesday is here, and I've been informed that the scooter won't be available until Thursday at the earliest. My time spent with this dealership has left me feeling...dirty. As if the sales people are incompetent, and as if they were trying to pull the wool over my eyes for profit. I even had to bring to their attention that they hadn't offered me the promotional "6 months interest free" that's easily visible on their very own website. I gave them two stars solely for the fact that the sales person (Jeremy) mentioned in passing that he might give me a gift card toward the purchase of a helmet or gloves. I would not do business with them again. read more

I bought a used Ducati Diavel from this place. I am from out of state. Jeremy was the salesperson who handled my purchase. Jeremy went above and beyond to make the purchase possible and as easy as possible. He was very quick and efficient handling the paperwork and shipping the bike. Jeremy sent pictures of the bike before it was shipped to make sure he sent the bike as it was described. I had a very good experience buying from Snake River Yamaha. They are experienced and courteous when handling sales. I would definitely do business with them again and I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family. read more

I will NEVER purchase from here ever again. After buying a used Can Am Spyder that passed their "inspection", I ran into issues two months later. "Brake Failure" notification came on, I took it to them and they informed me that they cannot help with this and that I need to go to a dealer to have it fixed. TWO MONTHS after buying it, I'm already putting money into it. The dealer wrote up a quote to the tune of $988.00 to fix everything that was wrong with it. I informed SRY that this was unacceptable and that they need to fix this as I've only had it for two months. They said they would meet me half way and I ended up paying $400 for repairs. The Spyder sat in my garage through the winter and this spring I brought it back out, just to see the "Brake Failure" notification again. I reached out to them once again and of course I new they would pawn me off on someone else, even though they sold it to me. They instructed me to have the dealer remove the fuse that causes that notification to appear. I passed that info along to the dealer that I took it to and we both agreed that this was not the correct action to take if the vehicle ever ended up having a brake problem. Turns out after the dealer inspection, there was a cracked brake fluid reservoir and that another $400 needed to be paid out to fix it. This experience has been a nightmare! Do all dealerships do business this way?? What do these "inspections" consist of?? Clearly they missed a ton of issues on mine. Horrible experience, I'll never go back and I'd advise future purchasers of anything Can Am to avoid this place because they CAN'T help you with ANYTHING. read more

Snake River has some of the most knowledgeable staff in the valley. They have a wonderful selection and repairs are very fair. I've been a customer since they moved in to the old farm store years ago and I have never had a bad experience with them. They are never pushy with sales and if they don't have a part you are looking for they have no problem calling other bike stores around the valley to help you find it. I bought a used v star in December of 2020. I told the salesman I'd pay cash as long as an oil leak was fixed. I was told no problem. Two days later the bike was delivered and I was assured the leak was fixed. After a few short rides I noticed the oil leak wasn't fixed. I contacted the service department and I was given an appointment and was told the leak would be fixed. I decided while the bike was there to have saddlebags installed. I picked a set out and was told with my 10% discount they would cost $180 plus labor to install them. When asked about labor I was told they charge $85 an hour and that it would only take an hour to install. I dropped the bike off and 2 days later I went to pick it up. My $265 dollar saddlebags were in reality $365 and I still have the oil leak. There is no way in hell that I'd ever refer anyone to this business. Also I will never step foot in there again or buy anything from them. They are CROOKS!!! read more
