Recently visited with a large group around dinner time. We were the only group there except for a few folks who had already been helped, so we were being served from a blank slate. We were helped quickly, and I appreciated getting 20% by signing up for the rewards program since it was my first time. Food came out hot and to my liking. A few negatives here from my experience that just make this an OK experience here today: - A bit dim here for dinner. Even with some light streaming in, sitting in the seats in the main section of this place was kind of dim as we were eating. - One of the folks in my party was handed one of the grain bowls with only two ingredients, despite the menu clearly having much more in it. Might have been a miscommunication in the staff trying to get our large group's orders out, but seems like an easy thing to catch. - Pizzas in general were kind of sparser than we were expecting. Admittedly the crust is pretty thin so I think the poor thing couldn't take any more toppings. FWIW food was great for what we got! Just would have liked some more heft for the price we paid. However, we enjoyed that this place was healthy and not too stuffing! A quick walk around the mall afterwards left us in a good spot before dessert. read more

I've come here multiple times but always forget to rate this place. Each time that I have ordered (usually via Yelp) the service is consistent. My orders have been accurate, hot and fresh, the ingredients used are pretty fresh (although sometimes the chicken in the Barbecue pizza can be a little overcooked, but still edible) and the portion size works well for me - in fact, it's rare that I have finished my pizza in one sitting. What I like most about the pizza served here is the crust - it's thin and crispy. In addition to the Barbecue pizza I previous tried their Margherita pizza, which was good too; the ratio of toppings to crust and sauce is good also. And the employees' disposition is generally warm. Forgot to note - I've never dined in, I always do take out... Because the pizza crust is thin, I recommend that if you live more than 15 mins away, that you dine in, otherwise your pizza may require you to reheat. read more

My partner and I used to enjoy this place, but after our visit tonight (11/28/25 around 8:30 PM), we will not be returning. When we arrived, we waited over 5-10minutes before anyone acknowledged us or took our order. Eventually, a Black woman wearing a black and long doo-rag scarf took our order, but she did so with a visibly reluctant and dismissive attitude. What made the experience completely unacceptable was noticing that she had a runny nose and was actively wiping it with her hand while preparing our food. She continued dripping and wiping her nose without washing her hands or putting on gloves. Instead of apologizing or stepping away for sanitary reasons, she continued handling our food and then rang us up with even more attitude. She was even breathing directly over our food rather than wearing a mask or following basic health and safety protocols. This was extremely unsanitary, disturbing, and unprofessional. This was my first time at Snap, and what seems like my 3848859th time at a build-your-own type pizza place. I usually go to Blaze but thought it would be fun to try something new. I can't help but compare the two so here we go: Staff/pizza building experience- winner is Snap. The employees were way more friendly and not overwhelmed by crowds like at Blaze Pizza dough- winner is Blaze. Blaze's crust seemed more doughy and glutenous in my opnion. Snap's was more dry and sturdy Toppings- winner is Snap. I didnt think it was possible but Snap actually seems like it has more toppings and you can also add more on top after the pizza comes out of the oven. Drinks- winner is Blaze. Snap does not have traditional sodas like coke and sprite. This is unacceptable. It does however carry bougie fake fruit flavored sodas. Pass. Overall I think I like Blaze better, but Snap is good if you want to switch it up. read more

I had been the Snap Custom Pizza in both Bryn Mawr and Ardmore and I had a nice experience, but wanted to try the new location in Bala Cynwyd. This new location is located inside the Bala Cynwyd Shopping Center so there is plenty of parking. I came in during off hours so there were not too many people inside the store. I went ahead and got the make your own pizza. I got the butter spread, tomato sauce, shredded mozzarella, chicken and apple slices. At the end, I got it topped with a drizzle of lemon oil. The pizza was made very fast and came out steaming g hot. It also came in a nice, little pizza box so I could take my pizza home. At home, I had my pizza and it was very good. The crust was thin, but pretty moist. While it was fairly oily with the lemon oil and butter spread I could still taste the tomato sauce, which had the iconic sweet taste of tomato sauce. Finally, the cheese was very fresh and tasty while the chicken on top was moist and flavorful. Finally, this Snap Custom Pizza has a very interesting variety of drinks like the other Snap Custom Pizza locations. However, they also had a variety of lemonade, which I had never seen before. The staff here is also very kind, polite and professional. Altogether, this new Snap Custom Pizza has some room to improve, but they serve some delicious pizza! read more

The pizzas looked good, personal size kind of coal-ish fired. It looked like they came out of the oven pretty well baked with a crispy crust. I got a cobb salad. Imagine the line at Subway or Chipotle but full of good ingredients for salad. So you can order something right off the menu and then customize it if you desire with additional items. It appeared that it's priced by weight but I wasn't really all that sure. At any rate, it was a good salad at a decent price for such food. Most most most favorite pizza place in the area. I think I come here at least one in two weeks. I usually pick the 'Build your own' option and pick my own toppings which are unlimited. They are quite generous with the toppings and also agree to mix base sauces if you ask. You can do half n half if you're sharing and if would like to have different set of toppings. Make sure to ask to be 'well done' for that extra crisp :) Add the Cilantro lime crema and garlic oil to finish! They don't coke and soda but have their own version which is pretty good. Okay so today was my third time going to snap pizza on city Ave. The first two experiences were great! Staff took my sons allergies very seriously whereas they asked questions and made sure there was no cross contamination. The young lady who assisted me today didn't do a great job. She assumed we were adding tomato sauce and didn't ask what size I wanted. As I asked about those things, she basically said next time say it in the beginning when typically the process is for the staff to ask "what are you having on the pizza" and/ or "what size"? Don't come to this location. Food is good like any other snap pizza (i usually go to the one downtown), but the employees here are very unprofessional. One girl is chopping veggies with no gloves, another is giggling non stop, play fighting with another, while another girl is on her phone. If this was my first time trying Snap in general, i would give it 1 star. There clearly isn't a manager and/or supervisor around. Had to come back and update this, they are now running up and down the stairs leading to the basement yelling and jumping. It's no way these people work here. The first time at this restaurant. I was getting out my car and I saw these two young ladies with three boxes of pizza. I said to myself well let's go check it out get my husband something to eat for lunch and get me lunch because I did not eat. Drop my package off and walked over to the Snap Restaurant. When I walked in it was a couple of people at the pickup station in about four people sitting down eating lunch. I took a mini you at the door looked over it back and front to find out what I wanted for lunch. A couple of things caught my eye but I'm very picky so something's I was picking out and then I noticed that you can create your own pizza or Salad which was great and I love that idea. Made my way over to the counter to place my order I really didn't know what I wanted but I just walked over to check the items out. The young lady that was at the counter was very nice and let me know all the ingredients and what they have to offer. After she explained what they had on the menu I decided to get two pizzas. I ordered the sweet and slow pizza for myself and the Mexique pizza for my husband. Then the young lady said that they're offering $5 for Salads today. So I said that's awesome we can have salad and pizza. So I took a another Glen at the menu and decided to order to the SoCal signature salads for me and my husband. The young lady prepared the pizza with the sauce then the young man next to her put the toppings on which I ask for no ground beef and he put it on there I didn't notice it until I got home did he place it in the oven and it went to the other side once it went to the other side he came over to cut it and box it then it was another young man I believe he was new cuz he really didn't know what was going on. He was marking things on a little sheet of paper of what you had ordered then he gave you the paper it was just like a receipt to make sure you had your items and to pay for. Then he went to the other side to mix the two solids together he put his clothes on which was good and I asked for my avocado on the side and my salad dressing. The only thing that I did not like is he really didn't mix the salad up it was like the vegetables was at the bottom and the Green Leafs was all to the top even if he had mixed it it would look a little bit better just check out the pictures and you'll see what I'm talkin. So the young guy that was making the pizza he came up to check me out he pulled up a cup and sit would you like a drink I asked him was it free he said no I said no thank you he also asked me did I want some of them little bite cookies and he said oh you probably don't want these because you have to pay for them and I said you're absolutely right. Then my food got backed up the pizza was in the box and I was about to pee and noticed that my bill was $36. I asked you what was $36 for he said what you had ordered and I said no the young lady at the front said that the salads the day are $5 today. So then he proceeded to take one salad price off to make it $5. Then I looked at the bill again and it was still more money so he disappeared because someone walked in the store and said they forgot to give her her salad dressing. Meanwhile the guy that pulls up in mixing a salad jumped in and said did you pay yet I'm told him no because the bill is too high again he seemed like he was new cuz he didn't know what to do. Then another young lady walked up and I stated that my bill is wrong and can you tell me exactly what I'm paying for. She told me two salads and two pizzas and I said yes. But I told her but today the salad supposed to be in $5 each as the young lady in the front stated. They told me no is one per person which did not make any sense and then the young guy that was making the salad stated if you had someone with you they can buy one that's just like if I go out the store put my food in the car and come back and order another salad again didn't make any sense. So she walked away I think to ask the young lady what she told me but at this time I was a little fed up and said just take that one solid off and I'll just be back in order another one. I'm getting the statements that the three was saying didn't make any sense but the young lady in the front that was preparing a pizza she absolutely told me $5 salad day. So when the young lady came back she said well we'll just take the $5 off and I said thank you very much and this time the line was long because of the statement they need more registers more Communications with the Employee and the more training. There's one person to two or three jobs. But that was one little mix up and I'll definitely will be back because the food was delicious I even called my husband at work and he said his food was good to hold to come and enjoy a delicious pizza and salad inside the restaurant. And I were close I will definitely tell my co-workers to come try out the Snap Restaurant. read more

When in the area someone walked past with a pizza box and I had to try this place. I went in the evening and it was not crowded. The place is short-staffed but they helped in the best way they can. We ordered the Margherita pizza; the other was pepperoni with a hot honey drizzle. The Margherita was nothing special. And the other pizza had too much honey and was so oily that we couldn't eat it. So I work in the area and come here quite often and I for the most part LOVE this place the low starts are because of service!!! On more than. One occasion I have gone in and had to be subject to items missing because it was the end of the night but yesterday took the cake. It's was approx 9:15 a full 45min to closing and it was the worst experience ever!!! There was no line and only 2ppl working 1 on food and 1on register or so I thought. The 1st person asked me to wait because she had to make dough and when I responded that I didn't want pizza she just said ok and continued making the dough...so they other employee came from the front and began making my salad after the 3rd ingredient I asked where the silver scoops were as he was using his hands to fill my bowl and he said they were being washed since it was the end of the night. I asked for the last egg and when he went to reach for the slice it too has gone to be washed. But the icing on the cake came at the end when he threw pieces of the overstuffed salad in the floor as he was trying to get the lid to close then he pulled a rubber band off his bare skin and used it to wrap around my salad. I'm disgusted even more as I re envision it in action. In the day of heightened health sensitivity I really expect more care to be taken. Don't let these other reviews. Some customers just don't know how to ask the staff to add more of an ingredient. If I want more pepperoni, they will add extra. I'm completely obsessed. Snap is so delicious and so addictive, that I seriously need to wean myself off of it at this point. If you like thin crust pizza then it doesn't get much better. I've made a few delightful custom creations and have tried the hot lil honey, Mexican, and margarita. They are all phenomenal but the margarita is my favorite as I am a bit of a pizza purist. Despite the fact that I just said I'm a pizza purist, this cauliflower crust is amazing!! You don't feel like you're missing out on anything when you get it. I highly recommend it if you are getting a pizza without a lot of toppings as it is super thin, and I'm not sure how the structural integrity of the pizza would be otherwise. Margarita pizza with cauliflower crust is officially my jawn. Also delicious, the salads! I had a kale salad with cashews, apples, and craisins which was great. If you order here, I suggest not bothering to show for pickup until at least 15 minutes beyond when the app/web indicate the order will be ready. The pizza is still decent, but the service here has gone off of a cliff. There's a particular weekend manager who just can't manage to get the pizzas into boxes and to customers who have waited 20 minutes beyond the estimated time, doing social distancing square dancing with everyone else who is disappointedly waiting. Even then, she gives the customers a whole lot of attitude if they dare to ask for their pizzas to be handed over the counter. A lot of the individual employees are really nice and hard working.
