    Chicken Quesadilla Bowl
    Matt R.

Meh...took a shot on the chicken quesadilla bowl which turned out to be underwhelming. Occasionally I'll go here if there is a promo and a couple bucks off an entree. The hot honey pizza by far is the most solid item.

Decided to give Snap Pizza a try, so I placed an order through Door Dash. I order a (Create your own Pizza). My order consist of Traditional Crust (Vegan), All-Natural Chicken, House Red Sauce, Fresh Mozzarella, Onions, Roasted Peppers, Local Mushrooms, J's Hot Honey. Besides my pizza arriving cold, overall the taste was decent. The chicken was a bit over cooked and dry, and I barely tasted any J's Hot Honey. Yes I was disappointed but something told me to give them 1 more try. So a few days later I placed another order for the (Create your own Pizza) but my toppings were Cauliflower Crust (Gluten Free), All Beef Pepperoni, House Red Sauce, Shredded Mozzarella, Baby Spinach, Onions, Roasted Peppers, Local Mushrooms, J's Hot Honey. My Pizza arrived cold again, but the taste was much better. Next time I'll do a pickup instead of delivery. My Rating - 3 1/2 Stars

I am not one to leave a review but I downloaded yelp just for this place. I ordered a gluten free pepperoni pizza and it didn't come with pepperoni on it and I got very sick after eating it. I called the store and the women on the phone was very hostile. They said they would refund me and never did.

This was my first time at Snap, and what seems like my 3848859th time at a build-your-own type pizza place. I usually go to Blaze but thought it would be fun to try something new. I can't help but compare the two so here we go: Staff/pizza building experience- winner is Snap. The employees were way more friendly and not overwhelmed by crowds like at Blaze Pizza dough- winner is Blaze. Blaze's crust seemed more doughy and glutenous in my opnion. Snap's was more dry and sturdy Toppings- winner is Snap. I didnt think it was possible but Snap actually seems like it has more toppings and you can also add more on top after the pizza comes out of the oven. Drinks- winner is Blaze. Snap does not have traditional sodas like coke and sprite. This is unacceptable. It does however carry bougie fake fruit flavored sodas. Pass. Overall I think I like Blaze better, but Snap is good if you want to switch it up.

    Custom made. Big girl approved.

The pizza is bomb but..... There's a lady who works there and she calls me beautiful every visit (even with my mask on). It's the best Black Woman empowerment experience I've had on City Ave and I return just for her!

I had been the Snap Custom Pizza in both Bryn Mawr and Ardmore and I had a nice experience, but wanted to try the new location in Bala Cynwyd. This new location is located inside the Bala Cynwyd Shopping Center so there is plenty of parking. I came in during off hours so there were not too many people inside the store. I went ahead and got the make your own pizza. I got the butter spread, tomato sauce, shredded mozzarella, chicken and apple slices. At the end, I got it topped with a drizzle of lemon oil. The pizza was made very fast and came out steaming g hot. It also came in a nice, little pizza box so I could take my pizza home. At home, I had my pizza and it was very good. The crust was thin, but pretty moist. While it was fairly oily with the lemon oil and butter spread I could still taste the tomato sauce, which had the iconic sweet taste of tomato sauce. Finally, the cheese was very fresh and tasty while the chicken on top was moist and flavorful. Finally, this Snap Custom Pizza has a very interesting variety of drinks like the other Snap Custom Pizza locations. However, they also had a variety of lemonade, which I had never seen before. The staff here is also very kind, polite and professional. Altogether, this new Snap Custom Pizza has some room to improve, but they serve some delicious pizza!

Had an amazing experience eating in, vs. my last takeout experience. I ordered the Mexique pizza on cauliflower crust and it was fantastic!! Fresh and hot. Not oily. Wouldn't hesitate to return and eat in!

Best cauliflower crust I've ever had!! Picture does the taste an justice.

Sooo in Philly you're supposed to get a cheesesteak??? Hell no gimme this here snap pizza any day. I know that's blasphemy to some. Lol. But listen this Midwest girl like to eat and this pizza was so amazing I went back to ask about franchising ( like for real). The lady I asked said three guys owned it and take pride in their product and it shows. I created my own pizza with a little bit of this and a little bit of that and it was dead on!!!! First time having diablo sauce in a place like this and it actually had a kick! Great flavor and friendly staff! I'll be back and keeping a look out for them to make their way to Ohio! Or Atlanta.

I randomly went in here today because I wanted to try something new. To my surprise I was able to get a customized pizza with whatever toppings I wanted for $8.99 before tax. The pizza was pretty good, my only complaint was that it was a bit salty (might've been the provolone cheese) but either way I was satisfied. I'll definitely be returning in the future. The staff was also nice and friendly.

I stopped in here on a whim because I was hungry. It's an interesting restaurant concept. It's basically a made-to-order pizza or salad place with a healthy lean on the ingredients. The pizzas looked good, personal size kind of coal-ish fired. It looked like they came out of the oven pretty well baked with a crispy crust. I got a cobb salad. Imagine the line at Subway or Chipotle but full of good ingredients for salad. So you can order something right off the menu and then customize it if you desire with additional items. It appeared that it's priced by weight but I wasn't really all that sure. At any rate, it was a good salad at a decent price for such food. I would definitely go back again and maybe try the pizza next time.

Most most most favorite pizza place in the area. I think I come here at least one in two weeks. I usually pick the 'Build your own' option and pick my own toppings which are unlimited. They are quite generous with the toppings and also agree to mix base sauces if you ask. You can do half n half if you're sharing and if would like to have different set of toppings. Make sure to ask to be 'well done' for that extra crisp :) Add the Cilantro lime crema and garlic oil to finish! They don't coke and soda but have their own version which is pretty good. They also sell wine by the glass and are open to byob(s).

Okay so today was my third time going to snap pizza on city Ave. The first two experiences were great! Staff took my sons allergies very seriously whereas they asked questions and made sure there was no cross contamination. The young lady who assisted me today didn't do a great job. She assumed we were adding tomato sauce and didn't ask what size I wanted. As I asked about those things, she basically said next time say it in the beginning when typically the process is for the staff to ask "what are you having on the pizza" and/ or "what size"? This could've gone a little better. Fix that

I LOVE PIZZA. More than that I LOVE toppings!! I love an array of veggies on my pizza & normally that can get costly. What I like about this is the pizza is one price not matter how you pile it up. This type of fast casual ordering style is made for ppl like me. I've been to 3 locations & its all consistent, the salads are great too. It starts with a great crust, choice of sauce & then it's your canvas to create. This location is across the street from my work building so they get a lot of our business. It's so good, not heavy & easily 2 big servings. I'm a customer for life.

I altered my salad to fit my dietary needs and substituted strawberries and sliced almonds for the bacon and candied pecans. Absolute best salad I've ever had in my entire life! Even the two servers were like "I'm gonna order that for lunch." The fried goat cheese balls were perfect! I wish a couple more were included in the salad but it included five. The grilled cheese had a mix of variety cheeses, including farmers and a couple more that I cannot name. There was also a bit of arugula in the sandwich, which was a very nice refreshing crunch. The bread soaked up the soup nicely upon dunking, and the bite was perfect. The vegan tomato bisque was hard to believe was vegan! My lovely server brought out a sample of it before anything else, and it was absolutely delicious! I was not able to finish everything in one sitting but left this place feeling very satisfied and happy. Highly recommend if you're in the area. The ambiance inside was lovely, with natural sunlight coming in through the windows in the upstairs dining area, and the tables had little tomatoes engraved in the corner. Loved all the tomato decor in the place, very adorable. Parking outside was ok. I think I got lucky a couple blocks away because I came for lunch. A hostess seated us upstairs the only occupied table at the time quiet and cool and relaxing. Cold water was dispensed immediately and after a lengthy study of the interesting menu, we settled on meals. They were fast and fresh. My Cajun Shrimp Salad had mixed greens, tomato, avocado, roasted corn, pickled jalapeno. The tasty orange chili vinaigrette was perfect. A really tasty combo. Five shrimp, not huge but two bites if you cut them. Plentiful toppings, it was just what I needed. Husband ordered a Couch Club, with the avocado on the side (more for me). He didn't order a separate side dish, so it was just a panini on a plate, unadorned. Tasty enough but probably should have had one of their many soups as well to round out the meal. Next time! I bookmarked this place intending to come back, but in a week in Manayunk we barely scratched the surface of all the culinary delights and didn't repeat. I love the way their menu clearly delineates gluten free items and those for which there is no gluten-free option. I especially would like to come back and try happy hour and gf soup on our next visit to Philadelphia. Since our son still lives in the area, maybe next year!

First, let's talk parking. Parking in Manayunk is always a challenge, especially during the summer months. There are paid parking lots further down that I would highly recommend using because street parking can be difficult to find. We made a reservation ahead of time, and I definitely recommend doing that through OpenTable. When we arrived, it was a little warm inside, and I immediately noticed it. Thankfully, I always carry a fan with me, so it wasn't a big issue. Now let's get to the real reason for this review Ali!!!! When I tell you Ali was amazing, I mean AMAZING. Her personality, energy, attitude, and spirit made our entire dining experience. She was funny, knowledgeable, attentive, accommodating, and had excellent recommendations. Great service can turn a good meal into a great experience, and that's exactly what she did. We started with the cheesesteak rolls, which were served with a spicy ketchup. They were good and had great flavor. Next was the calamari, which was absolutely delicious. It came with fried jalapeños, and when you paired a piece of calamari with a jalapeño and dipped it in the sauce, it was perfection!!! We also ordered the mussels, and if you're a garlic lover, these are a must order. They were loaded with garlic and butter sauce served with crusty bread perfect for soaking up the broth. I did take away and they dumped my bread into the sauce so it was soggy. Suggesting, give fresh bread on takeaways wrapped separate. Best of all, almost every shell actually had a mussel in it which unfortunately isn't always the case at some restaurants. They were fresh, flavorful, and one of my favorite dishes of the night. Since it was Taco Tuesday, we couldn't pass up the special: three tacos and a margarita for $18. You do have to choose one protein for all three tacos; you can't mix and match. I chose shrimp, and my son chose chicken. The shrimp tacos were absolutely delicious. There wasn't a lot on them, but the flavor was incredible. You could taste the fresh corn tortilla, and the shrimp were juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. My son enjoyed the chicken tacos, although I personally thought the chicken was a little dry. One thing I absolutely loved was learning that the food is fresh and locally sourced. Ali explained that they don't use microwaves, and you can definitely taste the difference. For drinks, I ordered a strawberry pineapple margarita. There was a small mix-up with the strawberry, but Ali immediately fixed it and brought me strawberry syrup to make it right. Problem solved! The margaritas were delicious and STRONG, which is exactly what I like. Overall, my favorite items were the shrimp tacos, the mussels, and the margaritas. The food was great, the atmosphere was fun, and the service was outstanding!!! We enjoyed ourselves so much that we're already planning to come back for brunch and try the mimosa tower. If you visit, ask for Ali. You won't regret it!! She made an already great meal even better. We'll definitely be back!

Service was good for the most part and the food was ok. Now no one from the staff apologized for the rodent issue so I'm assuming that this is a common occurrence. None of the staff seemed bothered by the situation to let their manager know and no one offered us a discount due to that scene that just transpired in front of us. It felt like we were all part of the same conversation, even though everyone was practically whispering. Service - Our waiter was professional overall, friendly, and offered good recommendations. However, he forgot to mention that the water we ordered was $6 per bottle, which we assumed was complimentary. I'm not entirely sure if the pricing was listed anywhere, but it definitely caught us off guard when the bill came. What We Ordered - - Stuffed baby octopus salad (Way overpriced for two tiny stuffed octopus served with a small side salad) - Moussaka (Thankfully, one of their original menu items was available. This was very good and lived up to expectations) - Chilean Sea Bass (The flavor was good, but was a bit underwhelming. The dish felt like a missed opportunity and could have been much more satisfying) Final Thoughts - Would I come back for special occasions or holidays? Probably not, since I'd worry about a limited or altered menu that might not live up to past experiences. Would I return on a regular day? Absolutely. I know what they're capable of, and at their best, they truly deliver a great meal. I also want to mention that the restaurant was very thoughtful. They prepared a personalized menu with our names printed on it and gave my girlfriend a rose, which she absolutely loved. That extra touch definitely made the evening feel special.

I've heard some great things about this place so decided to stop in for a date night dinner,…read moreunfortunately we both were a bit disappointed by the food. Hummus appetizer was great and they give you a big portion too! We got the chicken and moussaka for mains and both thought they were okay but not the best Mediterranean food we've had by far. The chef did pop by and make his rounds which was a nice surprise! tldr 3/5 food - good portions! Flavors weren't quite there unfortunately 5/5 service - the chef popped by and everyone was very nice! 4/5 vibes - definitely seemed to cater to an older crowd, at least for dinner

This is hands down my absolute favorite takeout/delivery spot in Manayunk/Rox. I mostly order…read moredelivery but I've popped by a few times in person to take food to go. It's a fast casual type place, and they also have Mexican food (which is pretty meh, but this review isn't about that). Everything I've ever had from here has been top notch, and I sure have had quite the variety! My typical go-to order is the pork belly in a pita with fries, but I've also had other variations. And I've also had the platters as well. I've loved all of them but the pork belly is definitely my favorite! The sauces are delicious, but my 2 faves are the spicy tzatziki and fresko sauce. Will usually get one of those 2 on my dishes. The dolmades are very yummy as well (usually get them as a side on my platter or will do a stand-alone order if I get a pita). I am OBSESSED with the spanakopita, I cannot get an order from here without that. I love dipping it in whatever sauce I have as well. I frequently do the dip trio for some variety also. Both the desserts (loukoumades and baklava) are delicious - they're not overly sweet which is perfect for me because I'm not into super sweet desserts. What I love most about this spot is that it feels indulgent but still fresh and on the healthier side, so you don't feel like you got hit by a truck as if you just stuffed your face with a massive burger or something. Def will continue getting food from here as long as they are in existence lol

Honestly pretty good for a gran and go. Food is above average staff is friendly and store is cleanread more
