This place has the worst customer service ever. I am canceling my membership and I was only TWO DAYS past the little grace period for the 30 days and I asked if it was possible to not have to pay for a whole other month since I'm not Using it all I got was a stupid automated email after saying that after I've been emailing back and forth with the manager. I've never had this kind of issue after canceling a gym I've never had to pay for a whole other month after canceling. Absolute bullshit. read more

My son asked for a membership about a year ago. I agreed. He stopped going a few months ago. So, like any teenager's mom, I told him I was going to cancel it, and if he wanted to resume, let me know, and I'd re-up the membership. I called and left a message a few days ago. I got a call today from a lady at Snap returning my call. I told her I wanted to cancel the membership. (Note: It's not personal. It's just that he's not using it anymore. And when he wants to return, I'll let him, but I don't want to pay $40/month for something we aren't using right now. I didnt say this tonher. I didnt get a chance.) She copped an attitude as soon as I said I wanted to cancel and told me I couldn't do it over the phone.... yet did not follow up to tell me how to cancel. I asked if I could cancel via email. She said yes, but then went on this long tangent about how we will be billed one more time. Okay, that's fine, not a big deal to me, but it's like she was going on and on arguing 'her point', when I wasn't arguing. ??? That's so odd. She then hung up on me. I called back and politely told her we must have gotten disconnected. I asked her for the email address. She started talking really fast and mumbled it to me, and all in one breath said, "shinglesprings@snapfitness okay great did you get that great okay yeah bye bye..." And she hung up! It's so incredibly unprofessional! Since I own a business and I require my staff to come to me with a solution to any problem they might have, I'm going to return the favor to Snap. Practice what I preach! First, be polite. Second, don't assume the person on the other end of the phone is going to try to nickel and dime you. Third, don't argue with customers. She should have said something like, "Oh, we are sorry to see you go. Is there anything we can do to keep you as a member?" ... "Can I give you a call in January and see if you're ready to rejoin?" ... "Thank you for being a member with us for X-time. We value our customers." ... "Come January, we may have some specials. Can I put you on our mailing list?" She acted as if I had just told her that her hair looked bad or something. It was so weird! I don't get people sometimes... or the lack of training! read more

I came in for a 8:30 morning, Fun N Fitness Class. I live about 30 minutes away, but I thought it would be worth it, to come and get a workout. I have a lot going on in my life, and had to move things around just for this one class. However, I get here and nothing. The room is dark and there is no instructor, this is at 8:20. So I wait another 5 minutes, thinking that I am early....... But still nothing. It is now 8:25, and I am still waiting. I go ahead and get 5 minutes of stretching, because this is my first class, and wasn't sure the routine. But, once again no one. It is now 8:47 and no one is here. This is very unprofessional, as they have promoted these classes, and told people about them the past few days. What a waist of time!! read more

The gym itself is nice. However, the management is awful. I have emailed and called them multiple times asking about programs they are advertising and I have gotten no response what so ever. I have left messages as well and that did me no good. Why bother advertising programs or classes if your members can't even get a hold of anyone to get information? I will never recommend this gym to anyone. read more

I joined snap because of the price and location. The staff is pretty much nonexistence. They are not very helpful and actually when you do need to ask a question or need help with something, they act as if your bothering them! The manager there really needs to get a clue how to treat paying members!!! Customer service is so important in any business. read more

Great place to work out! The staff is awesome and are there to help you if you have questions. The Gym gets very busy during January and February, but the normal volume of people returns in March. The Gym is clean and well maintained and have some very nice equipment. If you are looking for a place to call your home Gym, we recommend it. read more

Great place to workout! The staff is awesome! They are all so freindly and helpful. Thanks to Anthony and Michael, my workout, and diet, have never been this dialed in! I use to hate the idea of going to a gym and working out....now I go at least 5 days a week for 1-2 hours! I love the fact that I have access 24/7. It really works with my busy schedule as a working mom of two teenagers! My husband and son have both joined and also a friend from work. Love it!! read more
