I always leave my car at SNAP when I drive to the airport. I love how my car is always parked in the garage and I don't have to worry about it being outside, especially in the winter when it snows. I recently had a very good experience with SNAP parking. Very efficient, organized, and great price. Seemed very professional and customer service was great. After a previous groupon search for Newark Airport parking led me to a different parking lot that quickly sold out (which was very annoying), I saw that SNAP also had a groupon available. 4 days of indoor parking for 22 bucks. I called. They made me go on the website to make a reservation. The lady told me they have a lot of parking spots so apparently they are a very reliable go-to if you need EWR parking. By the way, the website to go to for reservations is www.snap-parking.com That site doesn't require you to pay upfront to make reservations. The one listed here on yelp is a third party site that requires payment. That's what the SNAP person told me. After arriving, they were very quick, efficient, and pleasant getting my family and I to our terminal. It was maybe 5 minutes of the guy approaching our car and inspecting it and loading our luggage to their shuttle, and 5 more minutes to drive to the terminal. When we got back, I called them as we were getting our luggage. Their shuttle was already outside picking people up by the time we got outside. After returning to SNAP, a quick payment was made and we were in our car within 5 minutes of arrival. read more

I never thought I'd gladly hand my car keys over on a dark street corner in Newark by that's exactly what we did when we tried SNAP. What a great experience! Dropped the car off at 5 AM on a Sat morning and called as soon as we landed in Newark. We met the shuttle driver at the same spot where we had been dropped off before. He was already there as we were walking up and within a short 5 min drive we were back at the SNAP parking lot and our car was neatly parked in one of the pickup spots as if it had been there the whole time. Excellent service from start to finish. We paid online making it very easy. You can also have them wash your car or do an oil change of you want to take advantage. The only thing that would have made it better is if they had also picked up my grocery list. read more

Worst experience ever. Landed at 11:40PM and gave the dispatch our ticket number and terminal. Called 3 times, and was told "the driver is on the way." 40 minutes later, after calling again, the dispatch made up some excuse saying the driver picked up the wrong customer, offer no apology, and was completely rude. When we finally go to the garage, now about 50 minutes after my call, with no other customers in sight, I got nothing but complete attitude from the dispatch. Again, more excuses, complete shade, and sass. Not one apology. When you see The Parking Spot pass you by 5 times you wonder why you choose SNAP. They don't understand customer service and obviously don't care about their business going to competitors. read more

I was charged $11.95 for picking up my car a few hours EARLY. If I was a few hours late, then fair enough, but paying extra because i was early makes absolutely no sense. I was told that the policy is you're charged extra if you don't pickup within 2 hours (before or after) your reservation time. I assumed that this would be like other parking garages or rental car firms who just charge extra if you're late so I added a few extra hours to my pickup time to 4:30pm (I had dropped off at 5pm) to account for the crazy delays that EWR has been getting recently. We were thinking of trying a different parking option anyway since dropoff and pickup have becoming increasingly slower in the year that we've been using SNAP. I now need to allow 30-45 minutes to get to and from the airport. It was more like 10-15 minutes a year ago. read more

Check in/check out was fairly simple. As soon as I dropped off the car, I was on the shuttle within 2 minutes and on my way to the airport. It only took about 5 minutes to get there so it gave me plenty of time get through TSA and to my gate. The instructions are all on the stub that they give you at check in so don't lose that. Calling for pick up was simple too. Waited 20 minutes for pick up and the shuttle was packed. When we got back to the lot, my car was waiting for me already. I went in to check out, was handed my keys, and was on my way. Makes parking for the airport very simple. Only eh thing would be the location of the lot, but there are cameras here so isn't a big deal I guess. No scratches or anything on the car which I was worried about reading other reviews. Great alternative to airport parking and fairly cheap too. I paid about $45 for 3-4 days, not sure how they charged me for it since I had to pay an extra $9.19 at the lot. read more

BEWARE !!!! We prepaid for parking well in advance of our Christmas Day arrival only to find the gate closed and blocked by cones. When I called them from outside the gate I was told that they were full...in this day and age you're telling me they overbooked. Completely unprofessional bs excuse for their greed and acceptance of walk ins when people had prepaid reservations. Then I was told that we can refund your card in 3-5 days well yes I would like that but more importantly would have been a suggested alternative. Bright side was a subsequent encounter with a Newark airport parking attendant who was polite, helpful, more than happy to help us out and wish us a merry Christmas to boot. read more

I have to say the ease of making a reservation was easy, the shuttle drivers were prompt and kind. They get 5 stars from me. The cashier gets no stars . Just make sure you pay attention when cashing out. I was charged for someone else's vehicle reservation. I thought the ending balance seemed high so I questioned the cashier and she told me, well there are taxes and Port Authority fees. It was late, freezing outside, I had my child , I was tired and just wanted to get home so I paid it. I just wanted to update my review. Snap does care about its reputation and customers. I was personally contacted by the General Manager Ms Normande Browning and she was very kind, understanding and apologetic. She assured me that this will be addressed with her employees as a learning experience. She also immediately returned the overage that i was charged to my account. I used to use a different off-site parking service in Newark but its been awhile, and I was put off by recent negative reviews. Tried SNAP for the first time and was pleased with the experience. They were busy but well-organized. When you drop off your car, you leave the keys inside and go in to pick up a ticket. There was a person or two ahead of me, but the wait wasn't long. The passenger shuttle left within 5 minutes and promptly brought us to our gate (maybe 5-10 minute ride tops). Upon our return, we picked up our suitcases at baggage claim and called the number on the ticket. The SNAP van arrived within 10 minutes, and my car was waiting for me right out front. I went in to have my ticket scanned and picked up my keys. No wait. All in all, an efficient, smooth process. Would use this service again. The only reason I'm deducting a star is because my seat was moved and automatic lights turned off, which seems unnecessary for a quick park job. read more

Plan for an extra thirty mins to drop off your vehicle and get to the airport. They used my car while I was gone. I had prepaid the parking, so perhaps they knew I am not going to be back for a few days, and they really abused the car. I found the following when I came back: - They had drained the battery and jump started it just when I got back. - The programmed radio stations were changed. - the digital clock in the car was reset. - the right hand side head light was blown. read more

We recently used SNAP for an international trip we took put of Newark. They were easy to find from route 78. They also have a garage and valet your car. The shuttle was there waiting for us when we got there. The process was very easy. When we got back to the airport from our trip we just had to call them and they sent the shuttle to get us The directions on where to get the shuttle were clearly written on the ticket but the girl in the phone also explained where we needed to wait very well. We probably waited about 10 mins for the shuttle to arrive. The garage is located about 7 mins from the airport and when we got back they had our car out and waiting. The price was right too!! If we ever fly out of Newark again I plan to use SNAP. read more

We parked here because a snow storm was projected while we were away. They have covered parking, so we figured the car will not be buried or ploughed-in. We did like the location and service and the company met our expectations. There is an on-demand pick-up/drop-off shuttle that you can use. We didn't have to wait much for the shuttle while parking. When picking up, you have to call them and they dispatch the shuttle. That will take some time. Keep in mind, if you pay through Groupon and 24 hours is selected, they will think you arrive at your check-out time. If you are arriving a few hours earlier, be sure to tell them this, otherwise your car will be deep in the lot which will take time to be brought out. Also, allow some time when departing, in case the shuttle gets stuck if a train is passing through a railroad crossing just down the street. read more

The first time I used Snap Parking about a year ago, everything went fine. The shuttle to and from the airport was quick and the vehicle was there ready for us when we got to the lot. Was even happy to tip the shuttle driver. This second time however, was a totally different story. Took them ten minutes to retrieve our vehicle. That I can accept. What I cannot accept was that they left a deep scratch and a large ding on the side of the vehicle. Unfortunately since we were in such a rush to leave after waiting over ten minutes for our vehicle, we didn't notice the damage until we got home. The scratch was deep enough that paint was removed so not a simple matter of buffing out. The ding (more like a dent) will need professional body work. The cost to do this would have covered a coach to and from the airport many times over. So two times I used Snap and one time incurred damages to the vehicle. So you do the odds. Next time I will be either taking a cab (more expensive but much cheaper than body work) or parking at airport long term parking where you self park and take your keys with you. read more

I have been using SNAP parking for travel out of Newark for a few years. Have been happy since day one with the facility and the people who man it... ...but a recent issue arose that needed help from the General Manager, Normande. She addressed my issue with ease..figured out what the problem was after a few questions asked and proceeded to have an answer and a successful fix in place after less than 10 minutes of work on her computer. We have been using Snap Parking for many years but last few times it has changed for the worse. My husband worries about not getting picked up if we aren't out there waiting for them. When they say 15 minutes they mean 30 plus minutes. Mean while we see other rides being picked up by Parking Spot consistently. Makes me wonder why not go with the other company. it appears that they need more help. Service has gotten worse. One other time they couldn't find where are car was parked and took a good 45 mins to find it. After traveling on a plane for over 4 hrs I just want to get home. They were fine. Arrived at the lot and I unloaded my luggage with no help, no big deal as the attendant was assisting another customer. It did take a while to get some service but finally I loaded my luggage into a van and off to the terminal. The biggest issue is that I flew back in 10 degree weather and it took over 30 mins for some one to come and get us. I had to call several times my three year old was begging me to take a cab to pick up our car because he was so cold. Finally the van arrived, my car was warm thank god and check out was painless as I prepaid. Again no help with the luggage. Good side my car was not damaged, it was waiting outside and warmed up. read more

SNAP was responsive. Location was not what I expected but it worked fine. 2 miles, 7 minute drive to the airport. Shuttle is 24/7. I was nervous because of my late flight arriving but they were there. They park your car and bring it out. Easy access to the highway. Shuttle drivers were helpful and courteous. read more

I've left my car here on multiple occasions and have never been disappointed. Most recently when I was dropping off my car a pole snapped near my trunk which made it impossible to close. I was rest assured that my car would be left in a secure and dry area where it would be safe to keep open. While on my trip I contacted SNAP and thankfully they were willing and able to help me resolve my problem and shut my trunk I am grateful for their help and will definitely be returning. read more

Can you tell me why you still park at the airport long-term lot for $18 a day? Here is why I will never do that: SNAP. 1. This is a gated garage parking. 2. It only cost $8.99 a day. 3. The shuttle comes and goes as you are ready, every 10 minutes. Most of the time just 2~3 passengers. For every terminal, they dropping you at the gate and pick you at the same spot. After you take your baggage claims, give them a call. The van will show up at line 5 (terminal B). 4. The staff and driver are kind and helpful, with clear instructions. PROBLEM SOLVED!!! I have used SNAP many times and always had a positive experience - my car was always waiting for me and the price was always what it was supposed to be. After returning back to EWR and finally getting to my car around 930pm, the car was ready for me when I returned. I paid the bill, took a quick look around my car for damage and went home. The next morning I noticed what looked like a small portion (about the size of a license plate) of damage to my front bumper. Upon closer inspection, it looked like someone had tried to compound out something or cover something up - but a lousy job was done. Very noticeable. I called the office and ask to speak with a manager. I explained to him what happened and he asked that I send him some pictures and he'd call me back. No call was received so the next day I drove (almost one hour) to speak with someone in person. When I arrived I was greeted by Araceli, the shift supervisor, and I explained to her what happened. She seemed genuinely concerned and she contacted her manager and he told her to bring it over to their detail shop to see if they can buff it out. About 15 minutes later she returned with the car and it looked better - but not perfect. I told Araceli that I was travelling again in about 3 weeks, and that if it's ok with her, I would like to have them take the necessary time needed to do the job without having to hurry. She obliged and she even made my reservation for me. When I arrived on 08/10/2017, I was greeted warmly by Araceli (surprisingly, she remembered me) and she brought me to meet the Julien, the General Manager. He was aware of what happened and said that they would detail the entire car for me for my troubles. I told him it was not necessary but he insisted. When I returned 6 days later, the car waiting for me and the car had been detailed. They did a really good job!!! Thank you!! I want to thank Araceli and Julien for doing the right thing. When you are parking thousands of cars a year things will happen - and I understand that. All I wanted was for them to fix the damage - which they did. They went above and beyond what I had asked for. Other places may not have extended themselves the way they did. I will continue to use SNAP and will continue to recommend them. read more

I had used SNAP in the past and had a decent enough experience, but my most recent one soured all that. Upon getting off a very long flight, we were picked up by the driver, who after we started moving asked if we could turn around and go pick some people up at another terminal. We said fine, thinking nothing of it. Our parking was pre paid so I expected to just get there, get my keys, and leave as I had before. Upon getting back, I'm told I owe even more money on top of my pre paid reservation because we came back 20 minutes later than I had stated in my original reservation. And the cost was more than an hour of parking! At no point was I asked to give an exact time of arrival, just an estimate. If I had thought they would nickel and dime me for 20 extra minutes, I would have over estimated by a lot. They didn't even pull my car up for me, just handed me my key and let me go find it myself. It was parked so close to two other cars that I could barely get in. Terrible experience, especially after a 15 hour travel day. Will absolutely not be recommending them to anyone in the future. read more

We called for an airport pickup so they knew we were on our way but we had to wait forever for them to bring our car around while it's freezing cold and snowing out so we had to stand around waiting in the lobby. The one star is for the friendly staff when I dropped off the car. Getting back into Newark at 1:30am I waited over 30 minutes to be picked up despite the dispatcher saying they would be a few minutes. It is absolutely unacceptable for a woman on her own. The lot is only 7 minutes away so there's no reason for it to take 30 minutes to pick people up. We also received several notifications while we were gone that the car was opened which is very suspicious. Will not be returning here and I suggest you don't either read more

When we returned to pickup our car at SNAP Parking, they did not have it waiting for us.... After 20 minutes I inquired where are car was, and someone finally informed us that they were jumping the battery. They somehow let our car battery die, which is a hybrid, when we were gone. They finally bring the car down, and the back seat was lowered, the dashboard was sticky and the floor mats all wet. Beware!! read more

On my return to EWR last Wednesday night I was promptly picked up by the SNAP shuttle, but waited at their parking facility for almost an hour because the attendants couldn't find my car. They explained that it had been parked in "the wrong spot" & this caused them to search floor by floor & adjacent parking. It didn't help that it was late night & this delayed my drive home. We have used SNAP several times before & had been satisfied with the service. This latest experience will make us think twice about using them again or referring to friends. Wife and I have parked here for many years and we continue to be more-than-satisfied with service, prices and (well) the character of the operation. While it's a smaller operation (typically only 2 buses circulating between the EWR terminals and their base), and it may seem a bit out-of-the-way . . . they run a really good operation, and we get dropped off at our terminal within 8 ~ 12 minutes of parking our car in their facility. Again, it's a small (vertical) parking lot, and all one has to do, is pull in from Frelinghuyser Ave . . . . get the bags out of your car and jump in the always-seems-to-be-waiting bus. Yeah, it's fast. To be honest, sometimes we have had to wait a bit after we get our luggage sometimes 10 ~ 20 minutes (watching other buses go by), but they just added a new app that made my recent trip go MUCH, MUCH faster. So improving is always a good thing, imo. So maybe it takes a little longer for their bus to show up . . . but when one gets back to their facility, my car is pulled up and waiting - no extra charge. So that saves 5~10 minutes there. In the winter, it's already warmed up. Finally, character and culture . . .and this shouldn't be under-rated. Just arrived today on an earlier flight, and they refunded me $10 because I parked there 3 days (& change) vs. the 4 days that I had expected. Who does that? Lots of nice young people working there a year or more who do a nice job on my(our) behalf. They go beyond imo and I would much rather give my $10~$15/day to them vs. the Port Authority of NY/NJ. This is a good solid Newark, NJ business that I am pleased to support. read more

My two sons and I had a 5:30 am flight, we had to be at the airport by 4:00 am. Knowing that area at that time of the morning I was not comfortable parking on our own, I opted for SNAP parking because of the Valet. I am so glad I did. We pulled up unloaded our luggage to their shuttle, went into the office, I was done in about 5 minutes. The shuttle took us right to the airport. We were running late, so the fact that they did this as quickly as they did, we made our flight. Customer service lady (I wish I got her name} was wonderful, the driver, wonderful. Upon returning the shuttle picked us up, went into the office, check out was about 5 minutes, my car was there waiting for us. Again, customer service, great, driver great. I had an eight-day trip with an early morning flight out of Newark and decided to look for park and fly options. It came down to SNAP and two other lots in the area. All three options had good reviews on Yelp. I ended up picking SNAP based on it being the lowest rate (slightly) with covered parking. The process of parking and getting to the shuttle was super simple and fast. Don't expect the cheeriest staff (this is the Northeast) but expect the perfect cocktail of professionalism and an appropriate sense of urgency which I greatly appreciate when traveling. A shuttle showed up within five minutes of parking and I was on my way. The shuttle was clean and the driver was also very professional. The pick-up process was straightforward on arrival. The shuttle showed up within five minutes of my request and my car was ready and running once I got to the garage. The covered parking was very useful as there were two snow storms while I was away. I am leaving this review a second time. I don't know why my first review was taken down. 1. They did not park my car in the indoor parking garage. (I know this for a fact, from my dashcam video. It recorded when they parked the car, when they moved it to access a car behind it, and then when they retrieved it for me. My car was never inside the garage.) 2. It took them half an hour to locate my car when I returned to pick it up. There was no line of customers in front of me. They were just sending out multiple agents to scurry here and there trying to locate my car. After half an hour they found it outside at the edge of the lot.
