I love this place!!! The food and customer is such a delight. Having an auto-immune disease is sometimes hard to find quality food on the go, but having Snap Kitchen as an option makes it easy. I'm in love with the Cashew Milk and Caveman Quickies, which are my all time favorites. Although, I wish it were much closer to my home, being that I live in Atascocita so I try to stop by when ever I'm in the area. Hopefully, I will see a Snap Kitchen in my area soon! read more

Beware! This place will make you sick. Two coworkers and I ate here and we all got food poisoning. I do like the idea of snap kitchen and the food was fairly tasty...but after we were all throwing up for hours. Never again! Because of that I would not recommend snap kitchen. This place is above average in terms of quality and service. My only gripe is that it is overpriced. But, overall, I would recommend it.

Not the cheapest but definitely one of the healthiest and easiest in town. When I am in a rush for food, this is a great alternative to fast food. Best part, not a fleck of flour in the whole place! The concept is not new, but Snap Kitchen is superior to all of its competitors. I've purchased meals at My Fit Foods in the past, but too many of their meals are too salty, and seem to be seasoned the same way. Higher quality, locally sourced ingredients and a large variety of options pretty much sealed the deal for me earlier this month, when I was looking for a healthier lunchtime destination in the area. This particular location is larger than the others in Houston, and offers a variety of breakfast/lunch/dinner pre-packaged entrees, along with snacks, desserts, juices, and a salad bar. I am very fond of the salad bar (only available at this particular location) - I highly recommend the ahi tuna nicoise salad. The pre-packaged meals are available in small, medium and large sizes. They will keep for a few days, and are easy to heat up. The nutrition labels are easy to read if you're calorie conscious or looking for vegan, gluten-free, or paleo meals. The meals here are all incredibly tasty, but I particularly like the bison hash (ground bison, quinoa, and veggies), fettuccine and vegetable alfredo, and chicken Tikka Masala (all the flavorful spices without the heavy cream). The entrees here do look small, but quinoa is quite filling. I enjoyed the gluten free chocolate chip cookies too! I LOVE that you can dine inside, there are microwaves, water, condiments, and plenty of seating. I can see this being very pricey if you exclusively purchase all of your meals here, but IMO, it's less expensive than eating out, and I wouldn't want to cook this large of a variety of food myself. read more

This is my favorite spot to go to when I'm on the run and need something healthy to eat. Snap Kitchen never disappoints with the freshness of their food and the friendliness of their staff. Every time I walk in they ask me if I need help finding anything or give a personal recommendation on their favorite meal. I come in frequently and T.J. and Pat are always very helpful. The manager Terry is also very friendly and asked how I was doing. Khi is new to the store and was nice as well. The staff really makes you feel like family here. Great job guys. read more

I did an online order at this location. They called me back saying they did not have my menu item. Then when I asked for another item they ALSO did not have that and when I asked for something else they ALSO did not have that dish either! I LOVE Snap Kitchen!! I'm giving it 4 stars because it has lots of variety in choices and most of the dishes are very flavorful and filling. The tofu scramble and turkey spaghetti "bolognese" have been my favorites so far. I will say the beef dish I had last night was rather chewy and the peach oatmeal was incredibly bland, but I have yet to try healthy oatmeal that is not bland. Making it yourself and adding fresh fruit would be better, but a big plus of buying my meals here is that there's zero prep work for me. The store is clean and the prices are totally reasonable compared to my usual Whole Foods bill. Oh, and my kids like it too, especially the beef hash. Definitely recommend! read more

I just saw this place and stopped in. I have tried plenty of the pre-packaged meal places in Houston, and this one seems to be really good. I have been trying to eat according to the Paleo Diet, and Snap Kitchen definitely accommodates this. They even label certain meals as Paleo. I really enjoy the food here. Tried visiting today, but the awful construction on Kirby made me change my mind. I decided to stop at a different meal prep place along the way, to avoid the traffic. That was a HUGE mistake. The food quality and customer service at the "other" place just does not compare. I haven't had a single meal at Snap that I didn't enjoy. I LOVE all the new menu items. I could eat the lemon ricotta pancakes any time of day! It seems that a lot of care and attention to detail goes into what they prepare. I appreciate that. There is also an awesome rewards program. The employees are usually very nice. My only complaint is the terrible parking when I have attempted to visit at lunch time for the amazing salads. My office is around the corner from Snap and whenever I forget to meal prep (often) and whenever I forget to bring leftovers for lunch (often) I go to Snap to fill the void and my stomach with something healthy that I won't want to kill myself for eating later. My go to healthy meals here are the Naked Chicken and the Turkey Meatloaf. I recently tried to the Scottish Salmon. ALL of their meals have been fresh, extremely tasty, and frankly, a little addicting. Their prices are pretty fair and you are able to pick between Small, Medium, and Large meals. The store itself is clean and the employees are helpful and nice. I signed up for their Snap card - if you spend $500 they will give you $25 in credit. If you spend another $500 then you get $50 credit. All in all, a great place and I see myself returning often. read more

This is probably my 10th time coming to this location. I love that they have a fresh salad bar! I am sticking to my macros and with everything upfront on the labels it makes it so easy to make the right decisions! Plus all the food is amazing! I live in the Sugar Land area and we don't have a Snap Kitchen close by but I used to always stop by when I worked in the area. Well I had to settle for my Fit Foods which was closer to my home. By the second day I was completely over it! Their meals are so bland and boring compare to Snap. I finally had time to drive into the city and picked up meals/snacks for the rest of the week. They definitely turned my clean eating experience around. Some of my faves are the Kale Caesar salad, Scottish salmon, and turkey bolognese. They were out of their "guilt-free" chocolate cookies but those are so good you won't feel the need to eat the "bad cookies." Snap Kitchen was not available in Portland, so when I moved to Houston I was excited to try Snap. By far a better selection with a fresher taste on things! I go to Snap Kitchen because its the only healthy fast food in the area- I do think the food is overpriced, but I've found a few items I like. There are several meals that are lacking in taste, as some people have mentioned, in which case they have Cholula available. However, they only get two stars because I had the seared tuna salad two nights ago and it gave me food poisoning. I'll spare you the details, but I'm just now getting over it. I drove 30+ miles to check this place out and was pleasantly surprised( i must give props to a lululemon employee for leading me to this place). Snap Kitchen appeared VERY clean, organized and well lit. The food organization and presentation were simple and categorized by breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The employees fit the part and were very helpful. I believe my fit food was the first of this healthy, ready to eat meals, but snap kitchen supercedes in several areas. I believe its the end of the my fit food for me. The Woodlands my fit food appears dirty, food isn't prepped with care (thrown in the containers with food on the side / mashed between the lid), and the employees don't fit the part. Anyway if you are looking for a good change, head to snap kitchen. BTW...almond crusted chicken and the chicken and butternut squash AWESOME! Only complaint, it appears snap kitchen has more fat content, one of the meals had 25% fat which is relatively high compared to M.F.F. read more

I love Snap Kitchen!! I've been coming here for the past couple of months. The food is awesome! My favorite is the naked beef. The steak is unbelievably tender. The turkey chili is delicious too. I was in there yesterday and was having a hard time deciding between two dishes. The guy that worked there told me his favorite between the two, so that's the one I got. Tonight as I was driving home after a DEFINECaliente workout and not having the energy to cook or do dishes, I decided to stop by Snap Kitchen finally. I've passed by it several times going up and down Richmond to and from Blackhole and my place, but yet to actually stop and walk in. Besides my laziness, the memories of the delicious samples of the Bison Quinoa, the Mac & Cheese Quinoa, the Jalapeno Hummus and the Ginger Chicken Stirfry at lululemon all last month (thanks Snap and lulu!) , as well as the complimentary breakfast, lunch, dinner or dessert card I received tipped the scale on my decision making. When I walked in I first sampled the brownie (yum!) and then walked to the wall of packaged food selections. Although I'm not the biggest fan of packaged meals as I'm trying to be more earth-friendly in my daily habits nor do they tend to taste as good as me making the dish for cheaper. However, I was pleasantly surprised that the plastic packaging is recyclable, reusable and BPA-free and of course, you can microwave it. Even though it was 8:30pm and they close at 9pm, they still had a variety of meals to choose from. I was initially drawn to the meals I'd sampled before, but thought I should try something new. I eventually settled for the beef tenderloin with red quinoa and edamame. This only came in one large size, whereas most of the meals also have the option of small and medium sizes. I glanced at the salad bar but really just wanted to grab my dinner and head home to eat it and not make any more decisions. However, it looked good. Although no employee had initially offered assistance (good because not annoying, bad because it was my first time in the store), the young lady at the register was nice. Unfortunately, she informed me my complimentary card only entitled me to $10 worth, so I paid $2.75 for my meal. It only took a couple minutes for me to heat up my meal in the plastic container. It didn't have any flavoring or dressing, which maybe was supposed to be offered to me? Luckily I had just bought a new Asian sesame ginger dressing from the grocery store the other night and added some to give the meal some flavor. I didn't finish the entire meal and I was moderately hungry. But the beef was very good and I guess I'll finish the rest for lunch tomorrow. Ideally I'd give the store 3.5 stars for just my in-store experience and the meal I chose, but I'll round up to include my interaction with both employees and food at lululemon was excellent and enhances my rating. read more

This place is next door to my office. I'm a healthy eater so it is a blessing when I need a quick lunch. Most of the dishes that I've tried has been tasty. I really like the turkey chili (delicious). I've had a few of the beef dishes and I'm not in love with any of them - they seem a little bland and once they're microwaved the beef gets a little tough. I've had one of the salmon dishes and thought it was very good. Today I tried the "devilish" eggs which were essentially deviled eggs but instead of that creamy, fat-filled yolk mixture they use a spicy hummus...well they were really delicious.
