Was the food good? Yes. But the prices? Over $60 for three of us for lunch. I could have paid that at a table service restaurant elsewhere. Good if you crave South Asian fare in this part of town.

This is like the Desi version of Chipotle but I gotta tell you it's definitely worth trying out. I did the Bowl with Masala Rice, Chicken, and all of the fixings. Really good!!! Of course part of the Kahlani group and they share the place with their sister spot Pok Pok Po!!! All Halal and fresh ingredients!!!

Went on opening day! Excellent food, fantastic service and lovely vibes! Ordered a bol with paneer, the mango lassi and the samosa. Mango lassi and samosa also tasted super fresh and delicious! Highly recommend!

    Receipt

I ordered a wrap on uber eats and it didn't have any of the filling toppings I requested . It had no kachumbar salad or masala yogurt. It was just chicken and rice! Also, my samosa had no dip. Unfortunate

    Veg bowl amazing!

Went recently and the food was so good. Great for a fast healthy option and especially for a vegetarian. Staff was great and we also tried pok pok chicken next to it. Overall amazing experience.

New to the neighborhood, finally stumbled on this gem. Super flavorful, super filling and the manager/chef is absolutely delightful. She's very informative on the dishes and is always ready to give a good recommendation. Place is beautiful, too. Always clean, always organized

We sat at the communal table because reservations on a Friday at 3:30 were completely full. Our waitress was very friendly and made great recommendations. The chef even came by to check on us and see if things were good. We started with the suya skewers which were well seasoned and delicious. I went with the Golden which came with chicken but I added shrimp as well. It was one of the most flavorful dishes that I've had. The curry was yummy and the jollof was spicy. My friend had the buka and really liked it. Everything was so well flavored and portions were huge. They also have a really great happy hour where you can get smaller versions of the entrees for an amazing price. I'll recommend this to anyone in Houston. And I hope they decide to open a spot in NY soon so I can become a regular.

I parked on a nearby street by mandell park. They have a separate bar and separate restaurant. I first entered the bar area. The line was long and I almost waited in it not realizing that the actual restaurant was right next door! The restaurant itself was spacious and had plenty of seating. They accommodated a baby and we saw a couple of other families present. I had always heard the Toasted Coconut was vegetarian friendly but there wasn't that many vegetarian options on the menu. The menu in the past had a vegetarian sandwich, but it looks like this has since been removed. I got the onion hash which was a large egg dish with black beans and potatoes. It was good and I had enough leftover to take home for another meal. I also tried the cauliflower wings. The sauce was a strong sweet and sour flavor (just a little too strong for my liking) and the cauliflower was crispy. I would order this again. I got the zinger mocktail and it was tasty with a nice kick to it. Service was friendly! Overall would return.

The overall vibe is casual and welcoming, making it a great place to grab a few drinks with friends or coworkers. The indoor and outdoor seating options are nice when Houston isn't blistering hot. Parking can be tough, though, since the lot is shared with a couple of other restaurants. That said, this recent visit was overshadowed by what was easily the most awkward and least customer-focused service experience I've had here. I was dining with a group of friends, and one friend ordered a meal to eat there along with another item to go. There was a little confusion when the order was placed, but we thought everything had been clarified. When the food arrived, both items were served on plates for the table. We politely explained that one of them was supposed to be a to-go order. It turned out the server had entered an additional order and believed we wanted both items for the table. What bothered me wasn't the mistake itself--those happen. It was the response. There was no apology, and instead we were told the misunderstanding was due to how we had communicated the order. We decided to keep all the food and move on, but the interaction felt unnecessarily defensive. I came a little late and was looking at the menu and asked whether they still had the fried eggplant dish that had been on the menu before. The response was simply, "No." No explanation, no follow-up, just an awkward silence. It set the tone for the rest of the interaction. So I decided to let her know I'll continue to look. This response was so uncomfortable that I later decided not to order anything at all. At one point, the server mentioned she had overheard us talking about having a "crazy weekend" and seemed to use that as an explanation for the earlier confusion. Whether there was miscommunication on both sides or not, the overall experience felt unnecessarily tense. I've typically had wonderful experiences here, which is why this visit stood out so much. The food, drinks, and atmosphere are still reasons I'd come back, but please avoid assigning Naya to customers if she's not willing to be a bit more cordial.

3/6/26-Michelin Man? More like Michelin...maaaaaaan…read more.. In good Mel and the Doctor fashion, a rough week equates to "let's go have a great night." We get dressed up and venture to Le Jardinier. While we were super excited and ready for a great Friday evening, we checked in with an unwelcoming hostess. Mind you, this is our first impression since we have never been to any of the locations. He asked the hostess if we would be seated close or after our reservation time (that would determine if we would have a drink at the bar), we received a condescending toned response of "you can have a seat and I will work on getting a status update on that." Duly noted. A few minutes later we were told we could go to the bar to only then be escorted to the table. So we will look past that "weirdness" of initial service and get ready for a stiff drink...the bartenders know what they are doing! Martinis were the name of the game and they were perfect. Just perfect. The prefixe and wine pairing was the game plan. But before the fun stuff, came the bread service. Bread was more than bread, it was warm savory pillows with the perfect butter. Made a crumbly mess while tearing up the bread basket, expected table crumbler service, after, nothing. For Michelin, we expected the fine dining cleaning in between each course. The service was odd, and the servers seemed cold. The kanpachi and the scallop of the prefixe were Michelin. Overall, we might give it another shot, maybe it was a bad day...but still grateful to get in last minute due to rodeo season. Let me know your experience!

Upon entering the hostess offered us a glass of complimentary champagne which I declined. Once seated our server Amelia came by to introduce herself and go over the menu. She was informative, attentive and very kind to us. She was upbeat and energetic which made the experience 10 times better and another reason why Granger's is getting a 5 instead of 4 stars. I started off with their mocktail and I got the Rothko-colada which I thought was a little too sweet for my liking but I did enjoy the pineapple flavor, it was strong. I also got to try my friend mocktail (dot-dot seurat) which I wasn't a fan of. After that we got an order of the Parmesan truffle fries & prime filet mignon tips (medium rare). The fries were delicious, Parmesan was strong. The filet mignon tips were tendered and seasoned to perfection. The whipped potatoes were fine but the Demi-glacé was very good. It was cooked more on the medium side but delicious nonetheless. After that we ordered our main courses. I got the crusted salmon and so did Tiffany J. Annalisa P. ordered the pesto pasta rotisserie chicken and my other friend got the wagyu burger. My salmon was cooked medium which I prefer & had a good crust on the bottom. I also had a side of sauté spinach which I should've pasted on it since it was bland. Very garlicky but that's all I got from it. I also got to sample my friend's burger, crispy Brussel sprouts & pesto pasta. The burger was juicy and the patty itself was high quality. Loved the addition of the caramelized onions. The Brussels sprout was a no for me, it was very sweet from idk what. The pesto pasta was very good and the noodles were al dente, chicken was also tendered. At the end I ordered their dessert and got the crème brûlée. Good caramelization on the top of the brûlée. The custard was slightly sweet, smooth, creamy and silky. It was the perfect consistency. Overall, I was satisfied. The food overall was a 4 but Amelia provided spectacular service and is the reason I'll give it a perfect 5 stars. She even checked on us after we paid our bill & packed our leftovers and labeled them. I will say that the ambiance is intimate but kind of loud. The music did start simmering down once we were done with our food. If you want more privacy I'll say sit outside on their patio. Will I come back? Oh yeah.

I would limit groups to 3-4 people to avoid the crowding around the wine wall. I say that because the place feels more of an intimate experience that should be reserved for solo dates, dates with your significant other, or when you really need to have a heart to heart with someone. When I went, there were two large parties and the number of tables did not compliment the size of the space; it felt too crowded with all those people there. I enjoyed the smooth process of the wine experience but warning, you'll be surprised at how much you spend at the end so come during happy hour! The menu truly complimented the wine selection; my favorite being the shrimp. My only complaint is there is a major room for improvement in the lack of sweet treats. The only option was bread pudding (which I never had) but they were "out" (I arrived 1hr after they opened on a Sunday) I recommend adding chocolate that could be paired with fruit bowl option to the menu.
