Baked goods! Blueberry muffin and a croissant with lemon curd
    Beth L.

Stopped in to buy a few pastries and coffee on our way to Point Robinson Park. The pasties choices are AMAZING! Wow, generous portions. We bought a blueberry muffin and a croissant with lemon curd on it. Huge! Delicious! The cashier was friendly and gentleman that prepared our coffees were both very friendly. They have a wonderful home cooked type menu, next time we are dining in. You could see into the kitchen and it definitely looks like a working kitchen, you can see the baking equipment and ingredients. The dining area is eclectic and from the outside as you enter you are taken into what felt like a big cozy living room . The bake goods are to die for, I can only imagine how delicious the menu items are!

Being 100% transparent this place is not great, but it's not terrible. The service was friendly! They gave us time to look at all the options being our first time. The place makes you feel like you're stepping back in time to the 1960's! Very old school vibe. Now, as for the food the most important part of this review. The food cost way too much for what you get. The only reason we visited was from all the people raving about this place, but one look at their reviews and they tell a different story. So if you're in the mood for decent food but old school vibes come visit!

We were searching for a morning coffee and nibble and Snapdragon sold me on its charm and many recommendations. The building is just impossibly cute- there are so many seats and I love the rustic mismatched collections of furniture and vintage decorations. Don't skip peeking in the back too, as they have lots of outdoor covered and uncovered seating set in a lush green backdrop, with even a playful mini log-cabin spot that both kids and adults would love. They made a good cortado and I loved their egg croissiant sandwich with salsa and side salad. The raspberry oat brick was tough as a brick though, and we all put in plenty of arm grease to cut through it with metal utensils. The eggplant sheet pizza was nice but I would have loved more eggplant to shine. Sometimes the line can be a bit disorganized but folks are well meaning and friendly. Definitely worth a visit! :)

This place came highly recommended - we got there at 3:15 / they close at 3:00 - fortunately people are still working inside on their baked goods, and they opened the door for us, THANK YOU! As we walked in we were greeted by assorted fresh baked goods - lined all over the tables and WOW! The smell is insane. The cornmeal muffins are delicious - the rustic loaves are crazy tasty - their carrot cake is probably the best I ever had and lastly the cinnamon roll is absolutely amazing ask for gorgeous Emilio

Maple Walnut roll... it was fantastic!

Snapdragon has long been on my list for restaurants to try in Vashon. On our latest trip there we determined that it was time to try some places we haven't been to before and we prioritized Snapdragon. It was a good plan for this stop to happen as the result was a very positive experience. There are primarily meatless options here. I got the Tofu Scramble while Steve got a bowl of soup. My scramble also had chunks of potato in it so gave it a good filler. They have what looked like to be an amazing bakery and we got the maple walnut roll to take home to have later. It was really fantastic and easily a guilty indulgence that I could easily succumb to often if I was close to this place. But I am like that with pastries.

The vibe in snapdragon is very hippie and eclectic. Very homey feeling. The staff were super friendly. The food fell short in my opinion. I had a Mediterranean type bowl. The tomato sauce on the dolmas was too acidic. I wished the feta was crumbled instead of a block. Everything else was okay. They claim to have gluten free options but have very limited options. Would come back again and try something different next time!

If you like the vintage vibe, you will love this cafe. We tried their coffee cake. It was huge so just right for two people. I got their chai tea which was wonderful and awakened all my taste buds. Hubby got americano and he said it was deep and nutty

    Enjoying Local eats!

This is a local Vashon Island gem! Everything from the eclectic decor to the menu all add to the unique experience you will have. Not to mention every interaction with the front of house staff was great! The gals suggested some great food choices the frittata and the focaccia pizza! They also new we weren't from the area and gave us great suggestions on local places to explore The eats! The baked egg frittata came with pickled veggies and fresh baked bread! The flavors balanced so well. The red tomato based sauce balanced out the saltiness of frittata. Then if you added the vinegar based pickled veggies to that you had a well balanced explosion of flavor. The bread was warm, fluffy, and delicious! The focaccia bread pizza had red bell pepper, jalapeño, and onion was so good! It had just a hint of spice that amped up the flavor! I think this is a local must eat! If you are on Vashon head to Snapdragon! The have pastries too!

Another brunch masterpiece! Savory galette with potato, spinach, tomato herbs and Amy's unequaled pastry. Side of cous cous arugula salad with balsamic vinaigrette. Show stopper quality! Service is always friendly and warm with the owners frequently there. Snapdragon has expanded their back eating section with more fun funky eclectic seating.

This cafe has a great, unique space with a lovely patio and lots of seating for large or small groups. They had lots of vegetarian friendly options and breakfast mimosas and bloody Mary's. I got an eggplant sandwich, and the bread was thick and dry really fell apart, I had to eat it with a fork and didn't finish it. I'd like to try their baked goods but would pass on a sandwich from here.

First time at a Snapdragon. There are several locations and this one is on Vashon Island. Not disappointed at all. Two pastries-cinnamon roll and a blueberry danish. Perfect. Along with a pesto eggs. Which was exactly that, eggs served on a focaccia style bread, pesto, eggs and cheese. Accompanied with arugula and a fresh crisp coleslaw. Perfect for sharing. The chai tea had a spicy bite to it and absolutely delicious. They serve cocktails too along with beer. What a great spot. Do yourself a favor and come here! Friendly service and a fun atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating. Stay sweet people. SYOY!

If you are visiting Vashon Island, this is a must stop for a delicious pastry, especially the cinnamon bun. The brown sugar butter crisp on the edges is so delicious. I'm not from Washington and was confused that drip coffee wasn't available but was easily substituted with an Americano. There is a lot of space both inside and outside and the rustic antique decor adds to the experience.

Blueberry cherry danish, chocolate donut - IG @bougiefoodieboi
    Kyle W.

Right when we hopped off the ferry, we checked this place out as we were very hungry. We got a blueberry cherry danish, chocolate donut, and egg croissant sandwich to share with a friend. Prices were high but also portions were large, and overall, the place is more quantity over quality. I enjoyed the blueberry cherry danish the most as it was sweet but also fruity, while the chocolate donut was overbearingly sweet. The donut had a chewy texture which was a little bit unique. The egg croissant sandwich is 50% good - the top croissant was perfectly baked, while the bottom was way too soggy so it was a miss. The sogginess was due to them adding tomato sauce which is interesting to add for an egg sandwich. There was not that much egg in the sandwich to make it worth the $17.50 price tag. Overall, this place has good pastries but their brunch menu items may be hit or miss, but to be fair we only tried 1 item. Don't be intimidated by the lines, especially if you order pastries only as they deliver those to you very quickly. Besides, there is ample seating both indoors and outdoors that you can enjoy the meal - so this is more of a fast casual, self-service type of place.

Great place for breakfast treats and coffee. Cozy spot and casual. Don't come here often because it's in Vashon but wish I could go more.

I could not see a menu anywhere officially, but, no need as this coffee shop is tiny. The pastries were clearly visible in the case. It was hard to choose. Unfortunately, I orderded a cake that tasted really dry and was honestly a bit underwhelmed with its flavor. But, it was covered in a decadent whip cream drizzled with chocolate, and combined with the vanilla latte it was sufficient for a morning treat. My friend had a blueberry danish that was definitely much tastier. My friend gave me a taste so I can attest to it tasting better. And the gentleman working there offerred her a dallop of lemon curd on top to top off the sweet treat. I saw other items I wish I had ordered instead of the cake. Like donuts, a cinnamon roll the size of my face, an apple fritter (I think), danishes of various flavors too. The cold case also had beers to choose from sold in single serve cans. Water and soda were choices too. Overall excellent service and great vibes here at this cozy coffee shop. Quirky and local ambiance make it a no brained and must stop. Happy yelping.

The exterior was not as "flaky" as I presumed croissants to be it was more like a Mexican crumbly pastry. Just outrageously decadent! Secondly, I had the rhubarb danish with exquisite lamination and layering of pastry. The rhubarb filling was perfectly balanced between tart and sweet, an absolute knockout.
