The dangerous part is convincing yourself that just one piece is enough. The crackle cookie was another winner. Crisp, chewy, and gone much faster than I'd like to admit. Then there were the coffee cake muffins. Despite sporting a cinnamon-sugar crumble top that looked like it was about to launch a full-scale sugar attack, they were surprisingly balanced and not overly sweet. Just the right amount of indulgence with my coffee. Speaking of coffee, they pull a really excellent espresso. Add in genuinely friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere, and you've got a bakery that's easy to love. I came for a quick treat and left with extra cake, a caffeine buzz, and absolutely zero regrets. Latte: This was excellent--balanced and rich. I personally dislike coffee that is too bitter or sour, so this flavor profile was perfect for me. Ham & Egg Bagel: This was a surprise hit! It exceeded my expectations with a generous, thick layer of scrambled eggs and delicious Italian ham. Chocolate Croissant: This was pretty standard/okay. There were…read morenot many breakfast places open so decided to make a quick stop for coffee before starting our day. We were surprised to see how friendly the locals were and started to give us many pointers on places to eat and explore. The locals were frequent visitors to the coffee place so that itself gave me an idea that the coffee will be great. We had cappuccino and cortado. Both were very well made. Apparently their cinnamon rolls are very popular but it was still arriving and we missed it. Having that perfect morning cappuccino and interacting with locals set the tone for our rest of the day. Will definitely visit this place again.

All the employees were incredible, the baked goods were incredibly unique and the coffee was lights out. My wife usually orders a dirty chai, however, she went with an Americano. As they called her name I approached The barista who I believe was named Andrew. He asked if the Americano was for my wife. I said no, she had a dirty chai. He said he would make her one. Only to find out later she did indeed order an Americano. They were kind enough to give us the chai for free. I wanted to mention the, Cronut which is a croissant donut with a raspberry glaze. It's huge, too huge, and so Incredibly good. What a wonderfully unique texture. The longer I would chew on it the more I wanted to. The frittata was made with love and full of flavor. From here on when I think of Vashon, I'll think of Snapdragon, and Oscar the Bird King.

This place is a must stop if you are on the Island. I walked in the door, and was greeted by an overwhelming feeling of love and warmth. The further you go back, the groovier it gets. There's the bookstore -- which is small and mighty, then you come upon the most eclectic grocery store where they have natural, healthy foods -- including a whole little drug store and a really cool place to get so much honey and some really interesting vinegar options. I can't recommend this place enough. Now, get yourself on a ferry and head on over to Vashon and enjoy an epic experience.
