I've been here about 5-6 times for a basic 45 minute pedicure. They almost always rush thru in 15 to 20 minutes. Massage 2 minutes. Clipped crooked. While cutting sides into the nail bed. Pulling the strip of nail out. Why do they try to create unhealthy hang nails? Do you train this technique to the techs? Wish you were half as good as other salons I've gone out of my way for. Their reviews were correct. I have no idea how this place has 4.5 stars. Even a basic pedi should be done right. read more

This is a huge nail salon with tons of employees. Unfortunately I didn't have the best experience. I would not go here if you want to get a relaxing pedicure. They rushed me through a $25 pedicure with barely a foot rub after making me wait at least 30 minutes when I was told the wait would be 15. I was never given the option on what type of pedicure to get either. This was on a Sunday so maybe it's better during the week. All of the buttons on the chair massager were rubbed off as well, the place looks nice but it seems like they are running a conveyor belt for nails. read more

I usually nake an appointment with her and when I arrrive she is always ready for me. She does fantastic work - my polish never chips and my cuticles are healthy. I got a pedicure here and it was okay. I didn't love it. I paid extra for a pedicure with an exfoliant scrub and the ladies doing my and my friend's pedicures massaged us for under a minute for each foot. They were busy so I'm guessing they were trying to turn and burn people to get everyone taken care of. I don't appreciate rushed service especially when I made a reservation. My nails look okay other than that. They aren't shaped well but the color looks good. read more

I am so glad to have found this Snappy Nails, as there aren't many good nail places in the Highlands area. I called ahead of time to be sure I could get in and there was no wait- YAY! There is ample street parking as well as a small lot associated with the complex (the salon is under an apartment building, but there is retail parking). The salon itself is huge, bright, modern, and clean. I appreciate the sanitary measures they take (lining the pedicure bowl for example). Techs are relatively friendly. Prices are maybe a bit expensive, but competitive for the area. My only real complaint was the overwhelming sound input. There's this awful wall hanging that's supposed to sound like the ocean, but it has a REALLY annoying seagull that squawks. Additionally the salon had the Ellen Show on the TV AND the radio playing- this made it very hard to relax. I recommend getting rid of the ocean thing and either having the TV on or the radio, NOT both. Though the racket deterred from the experience, my toes look lovely and my polish dried quickly but hasn't chipped after a few days, I am super pleased with this little nail salon and will absolutely be back! read more

I've been going here for about 8-10 months or so because the nail techs are talented and the prices are good. However, I've realized that the quality of the service just depends on the day. Yesterday, was the second or third time in a row I've walked in with an appointment and no one even says hello. Yesterday I waited 25 minutes with an appointment on top of no one greeting me. They were able to do a good job in a timely manner when I requested I had to be somewhere at a specific time. However, another complaint of mine is that I often feel I'm getting scammed with prices and charged additional fees without an explanation, this has happened every single time I've gone recently ~ about the last 4 times. Yesterday I was charged an additional $5 for shape, but it is not different than before. Sometimes work has been rushed, especially if there are specific small designs or art. Sometimes I walk out with stuff all over and underneath my fingernails as if they didn't quite clean up and finish. Ive gotten one or two pedicures and the water was cold but the overall quality was good and lasted long (shellac). Overall, I would suggest, but just be cautious of pricing additions. read more

All in all I was very satisfied with the efficiency, cleanliness, and friendliness of this Snappy Nails. I showed up 40mins until closing got a basic $25 pedicure and a gel rebase for $35. I'm very particular when it comes to pedicures. Don't cut my nails too short and don't dig at them too hard. The tech was very gentle! A+ for that. However, the paint itself wasn't very satisfying. Up close you can see it's uneven and was globbed on in some areas. As for my rebase pretty much the same thing the polish doesn't cover the entire nail on the sides or on the tips. Tech did cut them a little short for my preference and charged for long nails. Maybe $35 is standard for gel rebase? Honestly not sure because I always get my nails done the same long length. It wasn't bad by any means I'm just very particular with the services I receive I assume like any woman paying nearly $100 in one sitting. My best friend and I made an appointment for 3, we got there and everything went fine until we were in our car leaving, we realized my polish was terrible and none of her shapes matched, especially her thumb, went back to try and get reimbursed and the best they could do was "fix them" I got my polish changed and was satisfied and my friend just wanted to change her thumbs. The man who originally did her nails started saying things like "why didn't you tell me you hated them, tell me what's wrong with them? I see nothing wrong!" She just wanted her shape changed and he started telling his current client at the moment "she said I did her nails bad! I didn't, she said she wants her money back isn't that ridiculous!". I've been here 4 times now, when my regular place is booked, with the experience getting worse each time. The last two times specifically have been the worst, so I won't be returning. The third time I went, I requested Kenny when making the appointment but he was double booked and I got another technician. He cut me multiple times during the manicure. When he was applying the gel, he over applied and attached my skin to my nail. To fix this, he took the cuticle clippers to cut through the gel, completely cutting the side of my finger. Today, I went in for shellac removal with a regular manicure. The technician asked me what shape I wanted and I told her square-oval. She did great on the first nail and the rest she did a weird coffin shape, completely ruining them. She was alway super rough with the buffer and during the shellac removal (she kept looking away when filing the shellac off, causing my nail to burn). Unfortunately, there's other places in the area that are more attentive with their service. One other thing I've noticed is that they seem to overlook themselves. Booking was really easy, but you're not visiting for the experience here. It was packed with approximately 75 people on a Saturday and very hectic inside. I brought my daughter for the first time (5yrs old) and the only one who helped make us/her comfortable was the nice gentleman working at the front desk. It was hard to have a technician work on my daughter's nails who spoke no English, as my daughter likes to know what's going on and what is coming next, etc. like most kids. The tech put the massage chair on and my daughter did not want it on, but we had a hard time asking her to turn it off and she didn't seem to know how. I wanted to make sure they didn't file her heals, etc. so I had to ask another tech translate for me. It felt on the stressful side. We both got manicures and pedicures. My nails were very o-k. Nothing special and took her about 12 minutes. I had to re-file some spots that were left uneven/not rounded. Everything was very rushed to get us in and out. The place overall was ok -- chairs were left a bit dirty from previous client (nail file type dust on them). Overall, not a great place to bring a kid, not relaxing at all, and mani/pedis were sub-par, the worst I've had. read more

Beautiful salon, no wait, easy parking and free WiFi as positives. I went here based on yelp reviews and was hopeful. I had never received a "dipped" manicure and decided it was the time. Overall, the nails look nice, but a little thick. On videos I had watched, I thought the point of doing the dip was so I didn't have to expose myself to the shellac light. The nail technician ran each hand through 5 cycles with the light. However, The worst part was the aggressive filing along the side of my nails to the point I winced in pain repeatedly, but she kept at it until I had to completely pull my hand away as my skin was filed raw. Walked in on a very busy Sunday without an appointment. I was greeted immediately when I walked in the door. I waited about 7 minutes until I was seated with a technician. The technician immediately got to work soaking my nails in acetone to remove gel. She was evidently the manager as she was busy talking to other employees a majority of the time. She managed her time well, moving to another guest for gel nail removal while I sat letting the acetone work. When she returned to begin my manicure she was attentive and personable. She apologized for talking so much, as she explained she was was in charge. I've been coming here for around a year now and have little complaints! Nails are always nicely done and dip lasts roughly 3 weeks.

I rarely leave reviews, but it was not good. The lady who did my pedicure could hardly hold my feet, let alone trim or file my nails. I had to direct her because she really wasn't paying attention and my nails were all different lengths. She cut me a few times and it just seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. When I got home I had to cut all the really sharp points from the corners of my toe nails and peel polish off the skin around my nails. Could've done much better doing myself... :(. read more
