I've been to this place a bunch, always trying to give them another try because they are so close, but the manicures are just not good. My cuticles always bleed afterwards. I made an appt online and they accepted it & I got there and waited about 25 minutes after my appointment time just for them to tell me the girl I requested an appointment with, was busy today and they asked me if I would be OK going with another nail tech. So, I said sure and finally I was able to get with someone, and they were very very busy at this time but my nail tech was rushing the whole process, I asked for gel powder and I did not receive that. At the end, she almost forgot to put the lamp over my gel color, and it just really spoke to me that she was rushing and not paying attention/not doing the best of job she could do. The best nail salon in the area. It's so easy to call ahead and get an appointment. They are busy and I would always recommend calling. I have done a walkin before, and they are always very upfront and honest about wait times. Their space is open and bright and is clean and comfortable. The owner Maria is incredibly sweet and she really cares so much about her customers experience and takes a lot of pride in her salon and her technicians. Before even asking they brought over a bottle of water and told me to utilize their free WiFi! Even if you're visiting for the first time, you should try him and ask for him before you walk in. It's a big place and many nail technicians they have, some are good some are so so. Maria impresses me. I am bummed. I wanted to like this place but my manicure was pathetic. She didn't even touch my cuticles and during my manicure as the she waited while my nails were under the lights she was using all the same instruments to do her own nails. After this review, they showed me the regular/gel nail polish combinations which ensures your gel manicure can match your regular pedicure perfectly. I've done acrylic nails, normal gel manicures, and now dip manicures (SNS). Lately, I've been doing dip powder and I love it. I was initially skeptical thinking it was just an up-sale but my manicures last 3+ weeks and my nails are so healthy and strong! My friend and I not only waited for 45 minutes, but once I got the color picked out, I asked 3 times if they would put the base dip powder over instead of gel. Very upset with service. I have gone here multiple times. Usually the nails fall off easily. This time I went to have acrylics taken off and gel done on my natural nails. They took an hour to take off the acrylic. I got moved between 3 women because the first woman was hurting me. The last woman said she was told there was dip on my nails. Which I never said, which is why it took so low to take the nails off. After being there for an hour, I didn't wanna stay for a gel manicure especially after what I had been through. I went to pay and they told me $10. However, on the phone when I booked the appointment they told me a gel manicure would be $30 and to remove my acrylics would be $5. Won't be back. read more
