I really liked this place, because they had chicken wings, and sandwiches. Their service was friendly and I enjoyed the variety of options. We ordered some wings and one of them was raw and they replaced it right away. It's a cute little shop that had milk crates as decor and was very interesting to see.

Impressive first visit. Great tasting, unique flavored subs and perfectly cooked curly fries. Small & clean shop, with a handful of indoor/outdoor seating options. EXCEPTIONAL customer service!

I ordered the 4 Pointers and it absolutely delivered--super flavorful, perfectly balanced, and just the right amount of everything. The bread was on point, the meats and toppings were fresh, and the whole thing held together like a dream. Service was fast and friendly, and the vibe is low-key but dialed in. You can tell they care about what they're doing. I'll definitely be back to try more. This place gets it.

I was craving a sandwich and saw this place was close to a coffee shop that I was on my way to. I stopped here to get a B.L.A.T sandwich and I'm so glad I did! The bacon was stacked inside which made the sandwich delicious! I ended up sharing with my friend who took one look at it and couldn't pass up the offer. I realized after I ordered they they had curly fries and I ordered those too! Both the sandwich with the curly fries was a great choice! They had a lot of drinks to choose from, bags of chips to add and a cool 90's looking atmosphere. The cashier was friendly and helpful and the service was quick! Very happy with my sandwich from here

Super yummy sandos. Place isn't too much to look at but sometimes those are the best places. I had the BLTA and it had the perfect combination of crunch, savory, juicy and toasty. The gentleman taking our order was friendly and helpful. We'll be back!

If you're looking for just a really good original style sub, this is your place. I'm from the Midwest and we used to call sandwiches like this grinders. Great quick fast service. Definitely won't disappoint.

2024 Portland Sandwich Week entry: meh. But the bottled sauce was excellent.

I only had a hankering for three entries in the 2024 Portland Sandwich Week, Snappy's green chile egg salad, ham, and cheddar was one. They had already sold 45 on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. It was decent, but I probably wouldn't reorder. For one, the bread isn't warm. Overall, their sandwich offerings just aren't my thing as they are mostly deli-meat based. The place feels more chain than artisan. Strange as there were no condiments for dine-in, but they sold them by the bottle. Too bad customers can't sample as it was delicious. I'd return just to stock up on the sauce. The counter guy was very nice!

Snappy's is definitely one of the sandwich shops you will see pop up on yelp or be recommended by locals. It's moderately priced and has a fairly simple menu. It can be hard to find parking nearby, but it's doable. The sandwich shop is between two other restaurants a little sunk back. Ask people which line they are in to avoid wasted time. They participate during sandwich week and this last one was great! See in pics. I recently went to try a breakfast sandwich that was a special, but it was sold out when I went a little late that day. The Turkey Club I had was good and has more flavor than most thanks to the herb aioli. The bread is not super soft and a little on the crunchy/airy side. It feels light when you get the sandwich, but it's filling. Cool VHS tapes line the upper walls.

Always a solid spot with tasty sandwiches. I've been here multiple times and tried a few different things between Sandwich Week and other bites. Just had the Chicken and Veg recently which was perfectly savory with a nice mix of veggies. The artichokes made it sing!

Located at 68th and Glisan, the restaurant has been introduced to the community slowly over the last few months. The owners are currently doing catering and producing prepackaged deli style food for sale elsewhere, but they've also opened their doors to the public on the weekends. Apparently, the intention is to open for extended hours in early November when they'll operate from Wednesday through Sunday. I've only sampled Tusi's Deli Creation dishes sold for prepackaged takeout, but the chicken half moon pie and round pancakes (Panikeke) are so fresh and packed with flavor, I can't wait to visit this weekend to try more! I'll amend my review when I do. In the meantime, the deli is building quite a social media following where they show off some of their dishes, and make announcements about hours, etc. I highly suggest you check them out before they get so popular they begin selling out of inventory!

Please look for the sign. I had to take a turn around the block to realize it was there. (It was rainy and dark out). The owners are lovely people super attentive and welcoming. I called ahead to make sure this wasn't a fluke and the guy answered and reassured me they did indeed have COOKED Samoan food! I got fish, mamoe, muli pipi, with rice and taro. Let me tell you, I don't even think I chewed for the most part. HAHAHA. The food was warm, delicious ,and a comforting in the way that only food from "home" can comfort you. They for sure have blessed hands in the kitchen. I didn't try any of the baked goods or the deserts. But they're an option that I am fully going to take advantage of next time! The owners mentioned they were robbed and almost gave up! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE COME OUT AND SHOW SUPPORT FOR THEM! They truly deserve your patronage! Thank you again for the AMAZING meal.

The majority of the sandwiches contain meat, so I would not recommend this for vegans or pescatarians. Jim was delicious and I consumed both halves of Jim flawlessly. Either hunger overruled me, or the sandwich was that satisfying. I do recommend the shop, but with limited options for non-meat eaters, I truthfully would rate Lottie and Zulas, 4.5. Let me start by saying I didn't take pictures. For anyone who reads my reviews, that's a big part…read moreof them: ALL THE PICTURES. Presentation, portions, half eaten, etc... but I didn't. Because the food was so damn good. Look - I'm going to start off by saying I grew up practically on The Hill. Out here, you'll have to Google it (make sure to add 'RI' to the search or you'll get some political BS), but back east, "alls you's have ta say" was those two words and anyone would know you knew your Italian, food and otherwise. There isn't anything on this coast that vaguely compares to The Hill's food, but walking into and biting out of Geraldi's was having a little piece of home. There's this little shop in the old town where the owner knew your voice when you called to order... you'd walk in, and you heard "hey cousin!" whether you were or not, and that's the vibe you get from Geraldi's. The food is much the same - you get something that looks like Nonna was at the range all day with her sauce (it's not gravy - no meat) and you came home looking like you haven't eaten in weeks: "I'm gonna fatten you up before you leave" and you walked out the door with a sub (sandwich, that is - not a submarine) that weighed the same as a newborn. We got three of those babies: a Chicago Beef (seal of approval from the orderer - only 'complaint' was that they had to eat it all in one day because the bread was quote too soggy to make it to lunch the next day - travesty), an Italian sausage (just as delicious when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and a Chicken Parmeroni (I thought somehow even better when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and I could have absolutely gone back the next day if it weren't for A. the leftovers 2/3 of us had and B. the meal planning we'd done for the week. I also grabbed a side of giardiniera because I will get it anytime I see it available and I inhaled it - I need to know if I can by it by the vat instead of the side cups because it too was similar to what I can find at home (about practically nowhere out here) and amazing!! I'm still upset I didn't take pictures though!

My wife ordered the Aunt Tillie's Club, which she saw online and was the impetus for our visit, whereas I waffled between the tuna melt and the Aunt Tillie's Special (basically a grinder), eventually settling on the latter. Both of us were in heaven: sizeable portions, fresh bread, just enough condiments, and plenty of toppings to go around! My wife thought she was going to have to take a least half of it home, then changed her mind and powered through, leaving nothing behind! We dined just outside the restaurant proper, on one of the patio tables in the "mall", but there is plenty of seating inside (just not enough to accommodate the rush, it seems), plus a quaint little pub at the back that is easy to miss, but adds another layer to an already charming sandwich shop. We were both so impressed by the entire experience, that we are guaranteed to return, likely sooner than later! Very recommended!
