Update: we went back about a month after our first disappoint experience. I had 2 coupons from the owner for free burgers to try it again. Sadly, I will not be returning to snarfburger anytime soon. I ordered the snarfburger burger with 2 Patties- no mustard. My boyfriend ordered the snarfburger with 2 patties as well- as that was what the coupon was for we got fries on onions rings. It wasn't super busy at the location at the time we went but there were plenty of people Coming in for pickup orders. We took ours to go. I had mustard on my burger- which I absolutely hate, and my boyfriend only got one patty. His burger looked so sad and not what he was hoping for. Placed an order over the phone for pickup. When I went to pick up my food they wouldn't let me pay because I only had a $100 bill. A brand new one with all of the security features. I was forced to go get change elsewhere and I explained, it would have been nice to know that prior to my arrival because I was worried my food would get cold. I was told they would "reheat" it for me, but that never happened. By the time I got home (2 blocks away) my food was cold as suspected. There is a sign in the store that says they won't accept $100 bills but no one can see the sign when you order over the phone. It's also 2024, there are a ton of counterfeit bill detectors available that don't require inconveniencing the customer. For a company this size, it's embarrassing they would rather inconvenience the customer rather than spend a few extra dollars to invest in counterfeit bill detection. In this situation where a customer arrived and had every intention to pay for their food with legal tender, if the company insists on maintaining the rule of not accepting $100's then the right thing to do would be to give the customer their food for free so as to not sell a cold burger to a customer after sending them on a wild chase to find another business who can break a $100 bill. A little customer service goes a long way. Also, I ordered a double and only got a single. So they got my order wrong on top of everything else. Update: After realizing my burger was made incorrectly and calling the store, I spoke to a female @9:35pm who continued to argue with me and tell me that my food being cold was my fault and refused to do anything about it. She continued to berate me and tell me that "next time have my girlfriend come pick up my order" which is extremely inappropriate. She yelled at me and then hung up on me. I asked what time the GM would be in and was told that there is no GM at that location. Worst customer service ever. read more

This is a nice little burger spot in Cap Hill. I wasn't sure what to expect but I'm glad I gave it a shot. I came in the late evening on a weekday and it wasn't too crowded. They have a little garage door that's open so the ventilation is very nice. Staff were wearing masks, even while cooking. Ordered a burger, fries and chocolate shake. The burger was decent and patty was cooked nicely, but I probably should have ordered a double patty instead of a single. The ratio of meat to toppings to bun just didn't quite hit the spot for me. The fries were standard. The portion size was massive. I actually wish they had a smaller size - I would up the burger size and reduce the fry size if I had the option. The chocolate shake was extra thick and delicious, just a little hard to get through the straw. Maybe they can look into different straws for shakes. Total cost with tax/ tip was about $15. A reasonable price that's not enough to scare me away but not enough to be my usual. I do want to come back and try the double patty burger. Maybe next time I will bring a friend along so we can split the fries and I can get the ratio of food for my preference! read more

It was fine! Fine with an exclamation point. Just.. fine. I got a single snarfburger with lettuce, tomato, and pickle only (my usual and therefore my basis for comparison with other places). Not bad, but totally unremarkable. Plus the pickles seemed to be the same flimsy bright green ones you get on cafeteria burgers which was kind of a bummer. I got a side of fries (tried to order frings but I think my request got lost in mask-lation). Again, not bad, but nothing special. I hear a lot of people talk about snarf burger when discussing good burgers in Denver and I just don't see the hype. I had it a few time at different locations and it was decent, but nothing to write home about. Fast forward to the 11th street location recently and I don't think I'll be returning. To start, I waited 20-25 mins, so if you're going to go, order online. I just happened to be in the area, which is why I just walked in and ordered. What really upsets me about the order is that the burgers are way over cooked. I drove home for ten mins, so it did have that time to settle, but by the time I got home I was looking at 2 grey leathery patties. The burger is completely stripped of any juice and was not enjoyable to eat. My first bite was so dry, I had trouble swallowing. Simple fix, work on the cook time! They cook on a griddle, which usually helps keep them juicy, so it's cooking way too long. Smaller thing for last, order some frings and got barely any fries or onion rings. We grabbed burgers here with a friend tonight, and had a good experience with the food. We had burgers, tots, and onion rings. All of them came out hot and quickly, and were very tasty. The custard was very soupy, so not sure what was going on there. The main negative was that we were there 2+ hours before closing and the staff was acting annoyed that we were there, and cleaning up around us putting stools up. I was really craving a burger after eating healthy all week so decided to walk up to Snarf corner this past Saturday clad in a mask to treat myself. Ordered on the phone while heading that way. Super nice folks working there, very responsive and had a good setup for picking up in our current situation. I ordered the regular Snarfburger with everything on it and a side of fries and didn't get too far from the door to start eating while it was still fresh. The burger itself was good but, just didn't hit that spot I was hoping for (e.g. that feeling of sadness and self-loathing I typically want when eating a burger). It was good, had a lot of bun but just wasn't as cheesy and greasy as I wanted it to be while I ate my feelings. I will say that the fries were perfect. Will give it another try here at some point down the Covid-road but, until then I am still looking for that #tastyburger. read more

First time at snarf burger and we will be back for sure. My main and only gripe is that they are slow getting the food out. Other than that, good prices and good quality. At first my honey said he thought the burger was small, but after we split our burger and Chicago dog with frings we were both stuffed. They have some speciality burgers which all sounded good, but I am a purist, ordered the single snarf burger with everything and was completely satisfied. Loved the onion rings. Great burger spot. Close enough to cheeseman you could walk easily there without your food getting cold. Only recommendation is to cook the burgers a minute or two less. Or to make their patties slightly thicker so they don't lose as much of their juice when being cooked. Burgers aren't very juicy, and are usually cooked a little over well done.
