We always enjoy a pretty darn good burger there. My wife also likes the onion rings and the fries are good as well.

I walked past this place at Noon while walking to the Botanic Gardens and the smell was amazing. Looked like a fun, local place for a burger. After an unfortunate 2 hour wait at a fancyrestaurant without eating - we came over here hangry and tired at 8:30PM. The cashier could not have been more patient or friendly. We special ordered everything and he still smiled. Our food was prepared promptly and was very good. They even serve a tasty gluten free bun which made eating my burger much more like the old days when I ate bread. The fries were great as well. I ordered a double Snarfburger through DoorDash tonight. I have been a fan of this place for awhile but this was extremely disappointing. I received my order and my double burger had no hamburger patties. They packaged up two buns with sauce and veggies and sent it my way. I attempted to call to see what was up and was directed to a voicemail box. Hopefully they get back to me about this, as I think it's a bit ridiculous to order a burger and only receive the buns... Just ate here today after a recommendation from a friend, and it was not a great experience. Right off the bat as we walked in, they were playing loud inappropriate music from the kitchen that was super overstimulating while trying to order and hear the cashier over it. I asked for a single patty with pickles, pepper Jack cheese, and bacon with nothing else on it. After waiting nearly 30mins for our food my burger had lettuce and Mayo on it. Annoying, but no big deal. I asked for it to be remade without and after another 15min I received a burger with no bacon, no pickles, peppers & chilis and onions on it. I asked for a refund since I had waited so long for both to be wrong. They didn't even offer to remake it correctly. Really not a good service or food experience. read more

Snarfburger "fooled me twice"... doubt I'll give them a third chance. First time I ordered online and had it delivered: a double with no tomato, lettuce, or American cheese, with added bologna, Thousand Island, and extra ketchup. They left the American cheese on there, and there was zero ketchup, Thousand Island, mayo, or mustard. No pickles and maybe 3 small pieces of onion. Bologna seemed uncooked. Wow. Foolishly decided to give them a second chance. Today I showed up in person to order their "Hatch Burger" with no modifications. Guy was so stoned he could barely function. Got it home and there were NO GREEN CHILES!!!! Instead, they slapped on some sauteed onions (which are not supposed to be on the Hatch Burger) and a dozen pickled jalapeno rings with pickled carrots? This was surprisingly good! Very friendly staff; & one of the employees was cleaning tables & sweeping & keeping the place clean. Don't see that often! I had a double extra cheese burger plus great French Fries , and it was almost too crispy/ burnt on the edges for my taste. But......their homemade Ranch Dressing? The BEST in the city! (That made it worthwhile) So I overlooked the crispy burger......minus one star for the too well done burger & I asked for extra EXTRA mayo but didn't get it. After waiting longer than usual for our "to go" order to be completed we requested fresh french fries.... The fries they placed in the bag had been setting out for at least 5 minutes. The chick that had placed the fries in the bag lost her sh t. She had a bad attitude and was vocal about it too. We felt very uncomfortable waiting for the replacement fries with her continuing her banter. The other staff members are polite and understanding, so no blame there. How unfortunate that she took the request for fresh fries personally. Just a bad start to our take home dinner. To make things worse my burger was over cooked and very dry. My only complaint about Snarfburger and Snarf's in general is they are the slowest restaurants ever. The food is always amazing and their burgers are the bomb. I just don't understand why it takes 20-30 minutes to make a burger when you only have 2 orders ahead of you. My trick with Snarf's: 1) place your order online or over the phone 2) wait 20 min to leave my house and walk 5 minutes to the restaurant 3) sit and wait another 5-10 min to get the order. read more

All I can say is WOW. The food is not only delicious, but the service is fast, and is great value. The burgers are huge! Simple, straight forward ordering with speciality burgers clearly outlined. Everything is made to order which is a rarity in the fast food burger world. It takes about 5 minutes to receive the burger and fries after ordering, which isn't long considering it isn't assembled until it's ordered. It is such a wonderful feeling hearing the grill behind the register start sizzling! Stopped by for lunch on a Saturday after hearing great things. They definitely lived up to our expectations. I had the Hatch burger which I would highly recommend and my wife had the Classic burger which she thoroughly enjoyed. We shared an order of fries which were excellent as well. Their Frings satisfy that "should I get fries or onion rings?" debate. Tell the dude on the grill tonight the meats already dead. No need to kill it until there's only black. We ordered a Hatch Chile burger and a BLT tonight, with no hot peppers on the burger, and no mayo on the BLT, add sauerkraut and add hot peppers. No Hatch chile on the Hatch Chile burger (go figure - slaps forehead), tons of hot peppers, and just completely covered in hot sauce and mayo. I thought I ordered a burger, not a wrapper of soup. So disappointing because I was so looking forward to this food, my wife's treat for a great job interview, and because she digs this place. Now I'm just pissed off to be honest. My wife's BLT had a ton of mayo, but no sauerkraut and no hot peppers. Hey, at least the fries were good. But, how can you screw up French fries (a question I'd ask as a former cook). I would expect this kind of shoddy service from fast food, where most restaurants just give you what they want rather than fulfill your order, but not Snarfburger. Maybe I will simply have to go elsewhere and chalk up my past experiences with them to dumb luck that they got something right. Oh, what's more is that I called and got hung up on. We were excited to try Snarfburger but this experience was a big disappointment. We ordered ahead and was given a pickup time. When we got there, our order wasn't ready even though we showed up a few minutes after the given time. When we finally got our order and brought it home which is less than 10 minutes away, the small amount of fries they gave us were completely cold. The burgers were extremely dry and tasted like they sat on the flattop way too long. We ordered the burgers in lettuce wraps and they were impossible to eat. I live right next door to this location and that presents a problem for my weight, because this place makes some really good burgers. It is sometimes apparent that the staff don't know exactly what they're doing, but hey, it's a new location and they are most likely getting the hang of things. Very disappointing. Picked up an order right as they were bagging it up and the food traveled like 7 mins away. Everything was ice cold and soggy. The fries had to be just sitting out all day. Dry and cold. I specifically asked for no cheese on one of the burgers due to an allergy and there was cheese on all the burgers so someone was not able to eat their meal. Three recent trips have resulted in room temp--not hot fries ( total waste of calories if not hot and delish) and yesterday the ketchup machine was empty so had to ask for packets--server gave me 3 asked for more she grudgingly gave me 2 and a nasty look. Hey, if your gonna sell fries, they should be HOT and need to provide customer with enough ketchup to meet their desires.
