This place is amazing! The food is great and the atmosphere is really open and spread out for COVID. Everything we ordered was amazing - there's even a great beer menu. Definitely come here with a group to share as most things are small and you'll want to try a variety of items. My personal fave is the brie and fig grilled cheese -- the sweetness of the figs pairs perfectly with the saltiness of the cheese, super delicious! Can't wait to come back and explore more of the menu. There's a huge patio (that's currently covered with snow) so I can't wait to eat out there during the summer time! read more

This place is tucked in between two hotels and in the middle of two towns and I love it! Its kinda the only game in town. The food type is best described as good tapas / Americanized food. Tried the sticky shrimp which knocks it out of the park, pork tacos are great, nachos with guacamole were good but kinda like more salsa nachos ( just preference), Korean ribs are super tender but taste was not my favorite. The backyard burger was described to me as IF McDonald's made a good burger this is it! I first though who would compare their burger to a fast chain. Well it's spot on and crazy fresh tasting. I came in for happy hour about a half hour after it started (3:30 p.m.) and had a total of 6 beers (IPA's, considering) and asked for a 7th beer at 8:00 p.m. and was told that I was cut off. I was sitting by myself and was not bothering anyone, or even slurring my words, simply sitting at the bar and watching stupid videos on my phone. I have been to a LOT of bars in my life (40 years old now) and I have never been cut off before, NOT ONCE, so I asked the bartender (older "biker" looking dude) why he cut me off, because I was staying at the hotel next door, and he simply told me that "they" couldn't take the chance of me tripping over the curb and injuring myself. That is, by far, the worst excuse I have ever heard before and for a state that advertises, "Live free, or die", they certainly put restrictions on someone who is quietly just trying to have a few drinks. I live in California and I've never had that problem before. That says a lot, in my opinion. The place was decent, otherwise, but that moment put a sour taste in my mouth. We live nearby and are excited for a new restaurant in the area. We did take out due to covid, so I can't comment on the restaurant/service itself. We got the carnitas, Brussel sprouts, Korean BBQ ribs, apple pecan salad, and lettuce wraps. By far my favorite were the wraps and salad. Both were very tasty! The ribs were delicious as were the brussel sprouts. The carnitas left something to be desired and didn't have much flavor. Looking forward to trying out more of their menu and for covid to be over so we can feel safe sitting inside so we can explore the drink menu and atmosphere. read more

Incredible! The kebabs were some of the best meat I've eaten in a long time. The Korean BBQ ribs were also incredibly delicious, and are absolutely worth the price. The fries are well seasoned and curly, and for $4, it's worth it. 10/10 meat, 9/10 fries. read more

We ordered the Cubano, lettuce wraps, and boneless chicken wings. The sizes were smaller than expected, but the real issue was with the sandwich. The meat was so dry and tough it was impossible to eat and the whole sandwich lacked any real flavor And the bread felt and tasted stale. Kind of a bummer. Decided to go to snaxs as we were waiting for someone at the hospital. Ordered take out. Burger was literally raw like patay and not even close to a quarter pound. Gave them my number. Never got a call. Went in to check and order had been sitting waiting for who knows how long and the drinks were never made. Not many people inside. The walking taco was okay except for the bag of cheese doritos. Could went with reg corn chips. Prob wont go there again. Sorry. Only thing good was the people were polite and friendly. read more

My God, what an improvement over the previous tenant of this location, Margaritas (Mexican food), Snax has nothing to do with that business (Margaritas), and in my opinion, puts them to shame. Snax, on the other hand, is owned by the highly respected owners of Hanover restaurant stalwarts, Molly's and Jesse's. We had a great, first visit to Snax, located in the Centerra Marketplace, off Route 120, across the street from DHMC, near the Lebanon Coop and Lebanon Residence Inn by Marriott. Snax menu is Tapas with a New England flare, and lots of locally sourced ingredients. We shared a number of plates, and had soup, salad, and sandwiches. Our food was excellent. Service was good. There was lots of room for social distancing. Snax needs more customers! In order for our local businesses to survive, we need to support them. So, if you are reluctant to eat-in, order takeout. Between a good dinner, and the chance to support a local business, we're committed to two dinners a month at Snax. read more

The redesign is fantastic and I can picture this place being a super popular happy hour place, post covid. Today, though, we were hoping for great food, and it fell short. The carnitas small plate was served on flour tortillas (menu says corn), served with only one lime slice (who wants to pass around a lime wedge with dinner companions), a sprinkling of onion, and very dry meat. We told the waiter and he said he'd check with the kitchen, but never came back until we were ready for the check. He seemed nice be he never came to ask if we needed anything or see if we Iiked our food. The pepper appetizer was good but the peppers need salt. The burger $4 tastes like summer, with mustard and pickles, and thoughts of a 4th of July picnic- good for what it is. The ribs were the best thing we ate. We won't be back because we don't drink, but I can see them being great for the happy hour crowd. read more

The food was the only saving grace because it was VERY impressive even though it was luke warm because the waitress was busy schmoozing up the bar patrons. Service was slow on a Monday which was surprising to say the least, maybe 5 visits from our waitress over the course of 75 minutes and that's including bringing us food, beverages, checks etc. I wasn't crazy about the less-than-friendly service considering how excited we were to try this place out. I've ate there 3 times this last week and each time my food has been absolutely DELICIOUS!!! The tomato jam burger is the best burger in the upper valley, the Cali chicken sandwich is amazing. I've had 3 of the 5 wings so far and they're all delicious, my favorite are the honey sirracha, followed by the Jamaican jerk rub and then the maple mustard. Definitely 5 star wings. We had two out of town guests visiting so thought we should try this new place Snax. Four out of five in our party were very disappointed with the food. Tapas style plates ought to have lots of flavor and presentation. The plate presentation was non existent and the flood was bland. Oh, and the draft beer was flat so had to be sent back. My wife and I have tried this place when they first opened and tonight . Both times the bartender was very neglectful . From our orders not being taken at all to making incorrect drinks that are specials on the menu , everything was a mess . Tonight we went into Snax to celebrate my wife and my anniversary . As two experienced bartenders , we decide to go sit at the bar and help out our local " behind the pine" community . The second we sat down we weren't even looked at . The bartender was far too occupied gossiping with her coworkers and possible manager . After a while we get our first drinks . They actually were great . Then we had to wait another 20 minuets to even order food as the gossip once again was more important . At this point there are four people at the bar counting my wife and I . After we get our food we want nothing but to leave and go to another bar . Sadly , another conversation with coworkers was more important so instead of ordering a couple more rounds and food , we decided to leave .We've been waiting to get drinks and food and this was not the place we wanted to continue spending our money at . We decided to leave and celebrate somewhere else . As someone who's lived here my whole life , I really wanted to support this business . As a full time bartender for the last 8 years , I just can't. I am a big fan of the Blue Sky group and have eaten a lot at their other restaurants. I went to Snax tonight for cold beer and some good appetizers. The beer was cold and refreshing. I ordered the nachos and the first tray came out and there is probably more toppings on tacos than the nachos. I talked to the bar tender and he agreed that it was missing food. He brought it back and had the kitchen make me another one. The second one came out with more toppings but was still not a loaded nacho that you get at other places. For 14 dollars you would think the nachos would be somewhat loaded and not just a bunch of chips with melted cheese with only a small amount of taco meat, beans, and corn salsa on top. I had more sour cream and guacamole on it than actual substance. The bar tender was good so that's why I gave 3 stars, food was only 1star. I really hope to see this place to live up to the expectations of the other Blue Sky restaurants. read more
