Met my husband for lunch here with our 6-yr old on a weekday. The staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was open and sporty with lots of TVs tuned to ball games. I ordered the Rachel with fresh fruit and my son had the mini-corndogs with fruit. Best Rachel I've ever had, hands down. The fruit was not your typical melon medley. It had strawberries, grapes, pineapple, and watermelon and was very fresh. My son finished his plate which does not happen often. On the plus side, I don't mind it when the ladies dance on the poles, but you get pretty grossed out when a dude starts dancing on the poles too. It should be ladies only!! Never had a bad experience yet. Food is pretty good, however its just your typical bar food. Drinks are mixed well. However, a person goes to Sneaky Pete's for the fun times and atmosphere. It's not called the ultimate party bar for nothing. Just know that seeing that it's location is in Minneapolis near Target Field, you will be paying a higher prices on food and drinks because of the extra tax they have in order to help pay for Target Field. read more

I got a guy named Solow that I go here with. Great amount of tail and an even better smoking lounge. Also the fact a guy can pop into Dreamgirls after bar close for a sniff and a clack makes this place even more appealing. I didn't give five stars because of the dude with the cowboy hat bartending on the patio, Bret Michaels lookin guy. He only serves girls that will show him a little skin. Ok this place used to be fun, new rules, boring wednesdays, weekends already suck, I quit the weekends long ago. Many other clubs that allow fun. One thing that happend a drunk on the pole almost tipped the pole over, they dont let me hang up side down, but others can, ok if a rule apply to one should to all, yes? And a drunk on the pole is more dangerous then a real pole dancer on the pole, common sense. If anyone knows a better club for wednesdays, much appreciation, no , MUCH. I totally Disagree with all the HATERS! Sneaky's is the perfect place to spend your Afternoon for lunch with friends or clients, Happy Hour to unwind with coworkers, or Evening to party. The place has an amazing menu with great pricing and the food is all made from scratch in house. Get the tots, they are my favorite with the Sneaky Pete's Jerk Chicken! In the Spring, Summer, and Fall Lunch is enjoyed both inside and my favorite, outside on their two story patio. The patio is heated so in the winter we go out and smoke there. Happy Hour is super cheap with $1, $2, $3 Drinks and $2-$3 Apps. Their prices and food blow the Uptown competition out of the water. We go to Sneaky Pete's every time we're downtown to party, because they have the best crowd and great DJs. We happened to catch the last home Vikings game there this year and let me tell you, Sneaky's knows how to throw a pre-game, half-time, post-game party! I am looking forward to Twins Season since they right at the Warehouse District/Hennepin Avenue Station! read more

I bought a few drinks at the bar, leaving a tip for each. Along with my friend, he was buying and tipping heavily. Later at last call, one of the Loser Shot Girls asks if I want a shot, cost is $5.00 right? Okay, I give her a $10, and she is handing back my shot and $5 in change. As soon MY CHANGE meets my hand, she is trying to say to me immediately that she gets a tip. Wait, I just got my change back, and you're bombarding me with a DEMAND. As soon as the cash enters my palm, she is literally trying to take my money out of my hand, which is considered robbery. I said NO, not if you're grabbing wtf no way. Then she tried to take my shot away, excuse me Loser? I took my shot away from her and said, that's not required by law. Instinctively, most people with a back bone would push back....Yeah I want to tip, but GIVE me the chance. Next time, I will punch you in the face when you grab my money without asking. read more

Overcharged my card. Tuesday 8/2/2016 5-7pm. Me and a buddy went here for happy hour. We had three rounds of happy hour priced drinks, two happy hour appetizers, a one round of shots including one for the bartender because we are nice guys. We split the bill. His card was charged $43. My card was charged $83. Now I am a good tipper and the bartender was cute and nice, little too much makeup, but that isn't right. I would have noticed if my bill during happy hour was $70 and twice as much as his for an hour and a half tops. read more

This was my favorite place to go on the weekends. The lack of waitresses and not having patio bar open on a saturday was very dissapointing. Waited over 30 mins and still no service. No. I will never understand what is like to be black. Ever. But I will tell you that last night opened my eyes. So I was sitting at a table for four last night (at Sneaky Petes) , I was alone. Two women and a man came in and I told them they they were welcome to sit at the table with me so long as I could keep me seat. They were all black. I watched as the waitress attentively waited on the table next to us SIX TIMES and never once touched our table. Not once. We are sitting two feet away from the other table of three white men. The group with me had to get up to order drinks and food at the bar, as did I. At one point there was a pile of dishes at the table and a number of empty glass and bottles. I got up and started to bus the table myself and then watched as the waitress once again tended to the table next to us. I looked at my table mates and finally realized what was happening. And I felt bad. Really bad. The waitress turned to go get more drinks for the table next to us (three white men) and I hobbled my ass after her. I had had it. I finally caught up with her and I told her where we were sitting and asked who our waitress was. She said 'I guess that would be me'. I told her that she hadn't touched on our take once. Not ONCE. She said she was new and blah blah blah. It was all bull shit. I told her to 'get the FUCK over to our table and wait on us like you have been to the table next to us all night' (and yes, I did swear). She did and got a lousy tip from my friends when they ordered a round (deservedly so). It was awful and I felt so badly for the people at my table and myself in a weird way. I have never in my life experienced anything like that. Ever. And I think what I experienced was a fraction, a SLIVER, of what those of color go through every day and every moment. It was blatent and rude and cruel. And again. No, I'll never know what it is like to be black. Ever. But the glimpse I got left the sourest taste in my mouth that won't leave anytime soon. read more

OUT OF TOWN PATRONS BEWARE: The doormen here will take advantage of you on Thursday night and charge 5$ cover charges that go straight in their pockets. I, being a regular on a Thursday night was aware that there are to be no charges. I followed in a friend who has a Texas ID and was he was charged ten dollars to get in after he paid for me without my knowledge. Management pretended to be upset, never reimbursed us. This bar has the WORST service I have ever experienced. Went there with a group of friends for Monday night football. No wonder why the place was dead! Our server completely ignored us, even after repeatedly waiving at her. She screwed up our order multiple times. Came to our table twice during the course of a football game! Came here with a friend and one of the bartender (male) was really ill-mannered and very rude. I don't know if someone pissed him off that night but the music was very loud so for him to be able to hear me over the counter i had to shout (obviously because of the loud music on the dance floor) and after I ordered my drinks I asked him for some napkins, he got angry and gave me ONE piece of napkin and told me to use my manners when talking with him? (He gave me this stupid mean look and also used his hands to point at my face) How can I talk with him in a nice voice when I have to shout at him over the loud music so he can hear me? (Duh, common sense) First time I ordered in a normal tone he complained that I needed to speak louder and when I did he had the nerves to tell me I need to know my manners? Totally ruined my night due to his ugly customer service skills. Mind you, I'm never coming back to this place. With an attitude like that, I did not leave him a tip. read more

I went here on a Saturday night, and I found that the bartenders were quite gracious. They treated me like any other customer even though I wasn't wearing an Affliction t-shirt. The waitstaff was also very generous. At intervals, several of the waitresses stood up on the bar and poured multiple shots of what I assume was Powerade into my mouth. One of them also tossed me a Sneaky Pete's t-shirt. Unfortunately, I can't think of a situation in which I would not be embarrassed to wear the shirt, but it's the thought that counts. read more

My girlfriends and I went here to have something to eat before we went to a show. (This was each of our first time in this establishment.) We had horrible service. We had to track down a waitress to even talk to. Then we had to track down another one to get menus. We finally got to order our food. 2 of the 4 meals that were ordered were wrong. The waitress never came back to check on us. And see how the food was or if we were ok or needed anything else. So we ended up eating what we got. After she finally came back to check in with us. We both requested what should have been on our food to begin with. After bringing the items we requested, waitress told us they gave us the wrong food. I told her I wanted a credit on my bill. She told me she can't do that. I asked to talk to the manager. It took quite a while to come over. But she informed us that she cannot credit any of our bill. But would make us the correct burgers. (Now that we were done eating) we told her we don't need more food. We already ate. But she said that's the only thing she can do for us. After some arguing with her about getting more food. She said I will bring you all a shot. (We already had our drinks and finished everything and needed to leave for our show) I again told her that we would just rather have our bill credited. She told me she can't do that. I asked them who can? She said the owner. I asked to speak to them. She told me he was not in. I asked for contact information. She said she can't give it out. But I can call tomorrow to talk to him. I called back the next day. It took me a week to finally be able to talk to him. Only with the help of one of the staff members. (Who since that time have been sympathetic to my situation.) And he was rude and crabby with me. When I told him this was our first time in his restaurant. He said anybody could say that. (Calling me a liar) I asked why would I waist my breath. After talking with him and him disagreeing with everything I said. He finally asked what I wanted him to do. I told him I want my card credited. He told me he can't do that. I asked what he could do. He told me I could come in and get the cash. And that I would need to sit down and talk with him and his waitress. I asked why I would need to do that. It's not my restaurant and not my staff. I told him I live in Maplewood. That's quite a drive. And that I had to be to work. So I couldn't come that day. But it would be as soon as I could. I did make it there to get my money. The bartender told me that she didn't know anything about it. But would call him to find out. She called him 3 times. Left a message. And text him 5 times. All with no response. I waited for about an hour for him to respond. I ended up paying to park while I was in there for an hour waiting for him to respond. With no response. It cost me money to go pick up what should have been credited to my credit card. I had to leave to get to work on time. I left my name, and address and phone number requesting a check be mailed to me. I have not heard anything from him. It's been a few days now. I would say stay away from this restaurant. The food is not worth the horrible service or the jack around you get if you have any problems at all. It's pretty sad that the manager doesn't have the authority to make things right for the customers. We have been to Sneaky Pete's about three times in the last month. We go there before Twins games and recently before the McCartney concert. We LOVE seeing Wally the Beerman but the service at Sneaky Pete's HAS to improve. We had to waive down help to get a beer, we had to waive down help to get food and then we had to cancel our food, because it never came out in time for us to get to the concert. You just can't have enough good service these days and definitely this establishment needs to improve and hire some help. read more

I went to the bar (from out of town) at about 10pm on a Wednesday I got in no problem, however, I was kicked out within 5 minutes of my being there... I was supposedly kicked out because I was attempting to "steal money from the tip jar, and attempting to fight a bouncer." Even though I am in a position in life where stealing money from a tip jar would cause nothing but trouble (I make well over the poverty rate) and fighting someone would be about as beneficial as banging my head against the wall. Went here for lunch on 4/10 with 6 other guys and sat at the bar, I think there were more people working then patrons and we still couldn't get helped, once we finally got asked what we wanted we felt like we were a burden on the bartender and she was incredibly rude and unsocial. Once we got our tab I paid and never received change, the bartender happened to disappear for 10 minutes and I had to get back to work so I ended up leaving her a 50% tip, When I thought she would have been lucky to get 10%. I have been to this bar before and have been none too impressed. Never the less I decided to give it one last shot when a group of my friends wanted to try it out. From the very beginning the experience was awful. We started by standing in line when a friend and I quickly stepped out of line to look to see if we could tell how full the bar was. When we stepped back in line with our friends we were barked at by an overbearing bouncer. He told us we had to go to the back of the line. We told him we had been in line all along but had only momentarily stepped out and that we were not cutting. He again rudely ordered us to the back of the line. No one else in line had a problem with us where we were as they knew we had not cut. The asinine bouncer still refused to listen to any of them. My friend and I told him we would not be giving him our business at all. A couple of my other friends decided to still go in and try it out. They quickly left as well after finding the bartenders were rude, the atmosphere was dirty and the drinks were overpriced and watered down. I do not recommend this bar to anyone as there are plenty of wonderful bars in downtown Minneapolis that actually treat customers with a little respect. read more

I normally have never had a bad experience with Sneaky Pete's establishment, but dang near had a night-ruining moment on my birthday there that's still not resolved - from March - and felt the need to heed warning. A friend of mine insisted on paying for coat check (this being a perfect example of why I never participate..) and after I handed over my $300 Banana Republic coat, the coat check lady said we were good to go and called "Next." Well, at the end of an already horrible night, it turned out she never gave either one of us the ticket for my coat and refused to give it back no matter how descriptive I was with it and would barely talk to us when I asked for a manager (remember this was in March when she refused to give me back my jacket and I was in a dress..) The following day I called the establishment asking about my jacket and the girl on the phone told me it wasn't there. I became irate being it was the next day, gone, and very expensive. I left my number in case it showed up and when a girl called back saying they found it (how ironic?), I heard another girl in the background say it was gone because she had taken it!! I could not believe it!! Every time I tried calling back and speaking with a manager, one of the girls would always tell me they weren't in or unavailable. I finally had to e-mail their events page asking for a manager to contact me (who I've met and is a male) and got a reply from another girl who works there. THANKFULLY I was there a month ago and still saw my jacket in the coat-check area, but being bar time again I wasn't given the coat because they most likely assumed I was just another drunk and wouldn't talk to me. Living in WI has made this a nightmare just to get my own property back, let alone when employees take what's not theirs! Great bar, but NEVER use their coat check!!
