First, the hours of operation are incredibly unclear. I've shown up three different times after 8 a.m., and each time they were either still closed or appeared to be. On one occasion, someone was inside but told me they weren't open yet -- and that they were just a neighbor retrieving their car, which they park there overnight. On top of that, traffic on Elston is always heavy at that time, so backing into the lot is both dangerous and stressful. Still, I kept trying to give them a chance because they're close to home and on my way to work. Today was only the second time I actually managed to get a wash -- and it confirmed I won't be back. I arrived around 8:40 a.m. and was glad to see they were open. There were two cars ahead of me -- one being washed and the other, after 5-10 minutes, was moved outside (possibly a neighbor's or employee's car). After waiting 20-30 minutes, I got my car back -- and instantly regretted spending money on their premium wash. Here's what I got for $25: * Streaks all over the windows * Fingerprints left on the radio and dashboard * The trunk wasn't vacuumed at all * Side mirrors were smeared and looked like they were wiped with a dirty towel * No tire shine * Lint and residue everywhere inside There's so much more that was supposed to be included with the premium wash -- it's all listed clearly on their signs. Over the years the prices have gone up but what hasn't gone up. Currently FGHCW is on their 4th owner. They still do a great job cleaning the inside & out. I came here about 2 months ago. They have an early morning special from 8-11am. I arrived @ 9:40am to a long line of cars. By the time I got in it was about 11:12am. In order to take advantage of the early morning special you have to be inside the car wash by 11am. I told the owner I was outside in line @ 9:40am waiting but it didn't matter because they charged me full price. I left but came back & spoke to the owner telling him I was outside 1 hr & 20 minutes before the 11am deadline. He mentioned that he had problems w/his full staff showing up because of their fear of ICE agents potentially raiding & detaining them. He told me he would honor this w/a free car wash the next time I came in (which was about 2 months later. He is a man of his word & gave me a car wash for free when I came back on 05/14/26. My brand new car was damaged the first time I took it in. The steering wheel was scratched and in a spot that is super annoying. Really disappointed with the actual car wash as well. Thought there was also a scratch on my window but it was just dirt they didn't get off. Called and came back in to show them the problem and nobody could do anything. I will not be coming back and will tell everyone in my neighborhood that the new owner has ruined this place!!

Here is the difference and I told the technician. Basically, they are professional and OLD SCHOOL. Meaning: they are NOT going to upsell, they ACTUALLY clean the windows and VACUUM the car which is a total bonus. This was my first time with them and now they are going to get all four of my cars from this point onward. I am wondering if they have coupons because if they do that would be icing on the cake.
