I signed up for the complimentary "Try Padel" clinic. P1 is a private club. It's a nice facility without being too bougie. A lounge area and a good snack/coffee shack. Massi is our master professional and walked us through the ins and outs. A brief video on rules and scoring, then on to the court. Basic stroke drills with instruction and acutely a one set game! We retired to the club lounge for coffee and pastries! It was fun, humbling, and a decent workout. The club staff are so very welcoming The membership has great incentives to join. Curling is a full body workout activity that I can do outside of the gym, a fun and strategy based sport that is easy to learn, and a this is a very social and welcoming group makes for a great time. Classes and league play are currently held at the Las Vegas Ice Center. The group's leader, Nick, makes sure you feel welcome and are able to participate. The rest of the group was also very encouraging and social. My instructor, Luann, was excellent. She was patient, kind, and encouraging. I learned so much from her in my very first class. Nick's passion for the sport is obvious and infectious. He is so helpful; he even took the time out from his advanced group to give me good tips to correct my form when shooting that I was able to implement right away. Ricky is doing everything he can to help build a club that is affordable for all the kids and families that do not have the money to send their kids to the best of private schools and clubs, and the coaching is just as good as you would get anywhere. As for Tyler J., I have no idea who he is and I am very involved in the club, in addition Ricky Towers has never been anything but early to any practice I have attended in the last year and yes he may not be able to answer the phone in the middle of a practice but he will always get back to you.

When you play for the bigger clubs, you're nothing more than a number; another person to help pay the exorbitant coaching fees, but at LV Sounders, each player actually matters. This club isn't about making money and is clearly about creating soccer players. The club fees are actually some of the cheapest in town, and no child, regardless of their parents financial standing, is turned away - the club itself will actually cover the cost of league fees and uniforms for children whose parents otherwise can't afford it. As far as the coaching, I've never seen a coach more invested in his players than Coach Towers. He's the first to arrive for every practice in order to set up the fields, and the very last person to leave. Each player receives individualized attention and every game and every practice is nothing but a positive reinforcement for the children. The children are never yelled at, and never spoken to negatively. A variety of skills are taught at practice, as well as a fair amount of conditioning (anyone that knows anything about soccer knows that conditioning is essential to playing soccer). Coach Towers is extremely knowledgable about the game of soccer. My child has been recruited to play for other clubs and every time the subject comes up, refuses to leave LV Sounders strictly because of Coach Towers. I find that his players are extremely loyal to him and as a parent, I've had nothing but positive experiences dealing with him and his staff. Not only are they knowledgable in regards to soccer, they're well connected in the Las Vegas community, they're always available and they bend over backwards to ensure that both players and parents are well informed and accommodated.

The numerous food trucks offered a variety of different cuisines, which, included, Tacos, Barbecue, empanadas, Pizza and several others. There were also options to satisfy any sweet cravings. I love baked mussels and saw this both offering both mussels and scallops. I opted for the combination, which, included both mussels and scallops. The mussels were delicious and had great flavor. However, the scallops were very disappointing. They were extremely small, lacked flavor and were covered by some type of noodle, which, made finding the scallops a bit challenging. The festival grounds are well designed allowing for easy flow while walking around. Tomorrow the festival opens at noon and the weather is expected to reach 100 degrees. So, arriving early might be a good idea.

Sunny but windy day. Also, lots of people with dogs. If they pick up their dog's poop, I say Kudos to you. Parking was packed. Due to the Opening of Little League. The Parking Lot was disgusting. I find it disgusting that kids and parents are trashing the lot, as there are lots of trash cans located throughout the Park. There was a bunch of snacks on the ground next to my car, and pigeons were poking at it. This is also where Practices are held. Hubby's the Coach, but this might be the last season fror him, with this group, as they will be aging out. When we were done with lunch we, the parents, played the kids; there were so many of us moms playing, probably the most ever. And a Little League Passerby, screamed in support of the Parents! It was a fun outing. Of course, we had to do cleanup, after the kids.

There were umbrellas on the tables, but if we wanted more shade, we'd have to go the covered area, which was far away. New: the payment area is a tent outside, at the side gate. This is cash only. This is super convenient. They put the bracelets on your wristlet. $8.00 for us three, which is pretty affordable. New: the Speaker was playing various tunes, which was nice. Aww man, the whistles; no one can be jumping on one another. Every few minutes a whistle was going off. The majority of the boys stayed in the Pool. I was half expecting to get thrown out. There are two slides, one is faster than the other one. Only little ones allowed in the Play Area. There were two breaks. They were giving out free sunscreen, which was also nice. I kept moving around, I'd be in the Pool, then I'd circulate within the group. I was hoping that it would stay overcast, but it didn't. Got really dark. It was nice to see the boys let loose, since on the field, they are all business. And to talk with the other Parents, about other things, not flag-football related.

Unlike the Hollywood location, there is a large shaded area with lots of seats available. The pool was clean and a good temperature. There is a slide for smaller kids and two big slides for older kids and adults. They offer life jackets for free. You can bring your own food and drinks. Entry was cheap and cash only, paid right up at the gates where the pool is. Overall we love the outdoor pool here and plan to come more often this summer.

On any given weeknight during league seasons, there will be a plethora of children and adults alike roaming the complex. There's even a small playground for the little tikes too! A snack shack is available ask during this time where you can get your cheap sugary/salty snacks. The land is maintained by the County of Clark and large colored balls designate the assigned fields. Yes they have a bowl incline and yes it's a flood risk so please call the drowning hotline accordingly. Will a bum be seen sleeping along the perimeter away from the hoi polloi? Yes and leave them alone! They can do whatever they want during operational hours.

The soccer fields are a major part of this complex, they do have two child play areas that are also separately fenced, a snack bar, and many soccer fields. The entry and exit from this park area is from only one driveway so it can be very crowded. This definitely needs some attention from the county as they have a lot of events in this area of the park - including bands and similar venues.
