This is a good place to get a burger, corn dog, fries or a soft-served ice cream (dipped). Service is a bit slow but what's the rush. The real secret is breakfast. This place is hopping with contractors getting breakfast in the morning so I had to check it out. They know a great deal. We now make this our breakfast stop every weekend. The Big Breakfast or Pancake Breakfast is a lot of food for a low price. The egg sausage sandwich is similar to McD (maybe a bit more expensive) but as there is no fast food chains in Aptos - so this make Sno-White the stopping point for a quick morning meal. read more

I've been coming to Sno-white as an out of towner for several years now and I feel content leaving a review here. To start the employees always have a positive very outgoing attitude which makes my experience here comforting and welcoming every time. Sno-white is a very small town burger joint that you just can't find anywhere else. My go-to here is the double bacon cheese and a side of chili cheese fries. The burgers are straight to the point seasoned well and delivered quickly! Although I do miss the old style chili cheese fries with the variety of beans, the standard now is great-- they don't make the fries overly salty they just add a savory taste to them which often is hard to come by! The food is your typical burger joint quality but how they have made it feel so homey at the same time is a mystery to me. I definitely recommend coming here after a day at the beach or if you happen to be in the beautiful small town of Aptos. read more

After a long day at Seacliff Beach we were headed back home and it was the oh so sudden "I have to use the bathroom!" shouted from the back seat that made us stop the car. They have a bathroom on the side of the building and there was also a line. So while kids waited in line I meandered over to the front to order ice cream cones and fries for the kids. The kids loved their soft ice creams. With the combo of the perfectly fried salty fries and cold sweet soft serve we drove away in pure heaven. The order process is okay. The child that took our order was questionable. The only thing we ordered was two cones of soft serve. It took FOR EVER to get. How hard is it for two teenagers who are standing around to make two cones?? Get your ass in gear and make us some cones dude. Are you so high you can't figure it out? Come on bro. Was really sad about my experience here yesterday. Full disclosure- the food was amazing. Got the breakfast sandwich and hash browns. But I saw an older woman, who I assume is possibly a manager, walking around the indoor area without a mask on, and then proceeded to go to the kitchen and cook my entire meal without a mask or any type of gloves. It was just really upsetting to see the lack of precautions taken, and the lack of care for the other people working there who are wearing their masks (which is required!) Having said that, I haven't been here since we used to cut classes in high school to go to the beach and we'd always stop at Sno-White before heading into Sea Cliff. I don't remember having any complaints then. Fast-forward to now: husband and I were camped at Sea Cliff Beach for the week and every time we passed the drive-in I got nostalgic and had to have a chocolate dipped cone. The employees are all teenagers so you have to remember they aren't exactly professionals but the "surfer dude" who took our order was nice enough and efficient. We both ordered "the mixed" which is vanilla & chocolate swirled together, then dipped in overly-waxy "chocolate." It didn't matter that it's not real, it was about going back to the past, and these cones did just that. I felt like a kid again licking around and around before the whole cone melted down my shirt, then pushing the ice cream down into the tip of the cone with my tongue (didn't everyone do that?) The place isn't the cleanest and the employees aren't the brightest but when was it ever? I did get a look at the french fries and they were glistening with grease under a heat lamp but oh well, that's how most people like them. The menu is very interesting: burgers, breakfast sandwiches, hot dogs, corn dogs, and the special the day we were there? Chicken teriyaki of course! Heard a rumor they had the Impossible Burger so decided to try it and when we got there they had the Beyond Burger instead. We tried it anyway with a side of fries and a chocolate dipped cone for dessert. The burger was just ok, kind of pricy ($8.95) not as good as the Impossible burgers I've had. Fries were pretty good, there were a lot of them. Soft serve was pretty standard. They were pretty busy on a Saturday evening so we had to wait a while for our food. I went to sea cliff state beach and walked by this place. Its a little old, and the bathroom has a key on a squeegee handle like a gas station. Too bad they can't upgrade to a token machine. I had a junior burger and a banana split. How many places have a banana split on the menu? I imagine Denny's has banana splits but I would not be caught dead in Denny's. Since, there are no fast food places in Aptos. This is the best alternative in a time crunch. I had a Giant Burger (single 1/3 pound patty) with all the fixings and fries and a drink for about $10.00 (cheese was 50 cents more). This was satisfying but I though later I could have held out for some chili dogs. The staff seemed lacklustered until the group of 15 showed up behind me. Then things were really jumping. The process is order at the window or counter and they will call out your orders. Inside seating for maybe 20, and a couple of picnic tables outside. This reminds me of Foster's Freeze but back when their burgers didn't taste like someone sat on them. My son really loved his corn dog, my daughter liked her grilled cheese and we liked our burgers. We passed around the different flavored shakes around the table to try. The vanilla and peanut butter were awesome. The espresso and oreo, just okay. The portion of onion rings was more of a single serving size and not a group share. Is it a little on the pricey side? Looks straight out of the 1960s but the food speaks for itself. We ordered a super burger with cheese, a giant burger with cheese, Fries and a sodas. The burgers were absolute perfection. Made to order with the perfect amount of sauce and the veggies were crisp and delicious. The fries are similar in size to in n out's but not soggy. Instead they were crisp, well seasoned and delightful. We saw other customers with soft serve and that also looked great. Can't wait to come back to try the corn dog and chicken tenders. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Firstly, the children behind the counter barely looked 14, how they are legally working is a huge mystery. Beyond that, it took 30 minutes to get a large fry and two burgers because said children were too busy giving their friends free ice cream. Then to top it off, when my wife went to ask what the hold up was, the snot nosed brat decided to mock her over the intercom. What a nightmare. My experience here was far from pleasant. I was overcharged for a meal that should have cost me around 9-10 dollars, by nearly double the cost. When I arrived back at my office and investigated some of their pricing I decided to call and make sure I was charged correctly. After explaining what had happened to the manager, and being told that my meal should not have cost that much, he then put me on the phone with the young man who had originally over charged me! Love how it has the vibe of the last roadside diner to survive the apocalypse, however I need to dock a star because they really just need to keep the place cleaner. Tables are grimy.
