This is annoying because Snodgrass owns 4 out of the five total in network offices for our plan within fifty miles. Front desk was super rude, and turned us away saying they don't accept our insurance despite me having a screenshot that the insurance sent us here. She also insisted that my id number wasn't on my card, even though it's the only number on the card ) Said doctor snodgrass is gone and he was the in network doc. Let me start this review off by saying I have been a patient here for over 15 years. In those 15 years I have watched the practice go downhill both in quality of dental care and customer service. They double booked me twice in a row and were unable to see me both times as a result. The snarky and rude receptionist told me with an attitude "because you did not confirm your appointment, we gave it away. They never reached out by phone text or email to confirm the appointment nor has it ever been a requirement. After 15 years I will never be back and my children will never set foot in this practice. Without a doubt the worst dental practice I've ever been in. From front desk and beyond. Against my better judgement I waited for an hour, I was seated in dental chair 45 minutes into the wait. Once another 15 minutes passed I was absolutely fed up. The wall in exam room were dirty and No one said a word to me. Please, do yourself a kindness and avoid this dental office. Dr Snodgrass is the absolute worst!!! I went to the dentist with 4 cavities for just a mere checkup. I was in no pain at all but he decided to do surgery anyway. He was so rude and he said to my mother "We have to save her right now!" He said that "My root was dead." He said that I needed 4 crowns right now. He gave me the drugs and led me into the room. I went into the room and he wouldn't let my mom come into the room! He held me down and forcefully opened my mouth. I felt so much pain. When I started to cry, he screamed at me to stop crying. I was in pain for a week. ALSO!!!! Dr. Snodgrass is TERRIBLE at math. He completly got the dosage wrong and we went to the pharmasist. The Pharmasist had too cross out what the dentist had written and had to write a whole new perscription. DO NOT GO HERE. HE also put my crown on crooked and now i am going to a dentist to take out all of my crowns. read more

We traveled 4,321 miles to thank Dr. Snodgrass for the amazing work he did for our son who has front teeth thanks to Dr. Snodgrass. Our son had a horrific pool accident over Memorial Day weekend in 2012, that pushed his 2 front teeth into his gums. No one in Chicago would touch him because it was a holiday, extremely difficult case & he was bleeding profusely from his mouth. We called family in Franklin who also has a special needs child & asked for help getting into their dentist. For a week we went daily to see Dr Snodgrass who tried to save teeth, stabilize his mouth & come up with a plan because he damaged adult teeth. We experienced compassion & unparalleled professionalism for a child who was a one-time patient due to our home location. After the week, Dr. Snodgrass gave us contact information so he could help our local dentist continue what would be a 2-year course of action. Our local dentist referred us for a pediatric dentist due to the trauma. It was ONLY THEN we learned Dr Snodgrass is a world renowned expert on dental issues for individuals with Down's Syndrome & she had heard him lecture. We travelled back to show his work & thank him personally for giving our son a wonderful smile. If a professional can act in this manner for a 1-time patient, why would you not choose his office for ongoing care? read more

An edit: I have once again contacted the billing department and will update my review if the issue is resolved in a timely manner. Let me start by saying that our family of 4 has been going to the Franklin office for MANY years. We have been happy with the dental services. I left them for a while- explained later- and the dentist I took my daughters to insisted that they each needed a filling. I went back to Snodgrass for a second opinion and they said no fillings were needed, I am not naive enough to think that dentists are always on the up and up. I do feel that, in our cases, they have never recommended unnecessary treatments and that is impressive in this day. HOWEVER, I left the practice because their billing is THE WORST. At check out after one appointment, I was told that our account balance was over $700 from years of services. I never received a bill prior to that. No one ever mentioned it during our bi-annual cleanings (so 8 visits total from our family per year) and then BOOM! We suddenly owed a lot of money. I have learned that their billing department is, at best, completely incompetent, or at worst, totally misbilling in the hope that patients do not notice and just pay. Every invoice sends me back to checking credit card statements to confirm the dates on which we paid. The payments are usually left off the invoice. They say that insurance was billed but they were likely not OR they just neglect to mention that credit. read more

Plain and simple...this is a great dental group, not only for kids, but for adults as well. For kids, there are a lot of opportunities for diversions while waiting--games, videos and even small rides. For adults there's a small and quieter adults-only waiting room. Staff: top notch...friendly cheerful, helpful, welcoming. Dentists and Hygienists...I can't say enough good things. I've been pleased with every appointment and dealing with the folks here. I absolutely hate that I have to UPDATE my review, but my experience and now complete lack of trust makes me feel the need to advise other parents. We came from a dentist about 50 miles away. My daughter never had any issues, no cavities or anything. The dentist even said her teeth were absolutely perfect. We came to Snodgrass-King and while the atmosphere and the friendly staff and dentists drew me in to trust them, every single time we came in for our regular cleaning, there seemed to be some catastrophic, expensive issue or issues that needed done immediately. After each major issue was "fixed" we were told everything looked great and they would see us in 6 months. Every cleaning we went in thinking everything would be easy because the last time they took care of all of the issues, she was an excellent brusher and flosser...she even takes her toothbrush, toothpaste and floss to school to do after lunch! Then at the next appointment there were always more issues that needed taken care of. This happened for about 6 years or so. I am not a dentist, so I assumed they knew what they were talking about and most importantly, trusted them. The last major procedure that was done without warning had my daughter terrified as she thought she was ONLY coming in for a cleaning (they pulled teeth and a spacer was put in without even letting me talk to her about it or letting her know what was going on...she was 13) was because we were told it was an emergency to pull the teeth and we had to do it before braces could be put on. People always comment about how perfect my daughters teeth are so hearing that she needed both top and bottom braces and probably a spacer as well really threw me. We had a family friend come through town as their son was graduating dental school to become an orthodontist. I jokingly said to him "wanna fix (daughters) teeth for me?" He laughed and said "what does she need done?" I told him everything we were told. He looked in her mouth and was shocked. He said that her teeth were absolutely perfect and that if the one tooth that was a hair crooked really bothered my daughter that much, that I should just go online and get the generic Invisalign because she would likely only need one single retainer on the bottom and would be done and perfectly place in about 2 weeks to totally straighten it and it would only cost me about $100. He told me I was going to the wrong dentist. So at the next appointment, where we were told that they would for sure take her spacer out, we were told they were going to leave it in another 6 months and do some other work that needed done instead then maybe at the next appointment the spacer could come out (even thought the tooth was fully in place already for many months) and her braces could go on. I flat out said braces were not in our budget and told him that she was told the spacer only needed to be in until the new tooth grew in. The tooth was grown in 2 months later and here we were a year later and he wanted us to leave it in another 6 months. I told him my daughter really was looking forward to having it taken out this time and he said he would do it, against his better judgement. We were asked when we wanted to come back for all of the other work that needed done and I told them I would call them to schedule. We found another highly regarded dentist in the area for her next 6 month appointment. We got there and the dentist said how amazing and perfect her smile was and they had to check 3-4 times to make sure what she was feeling was the beginning of a cavity because it was so itty bitty that it didn't even show on the X-rays. They said it was so small that there was zero hurry to have it fixed. I then asked about braces. The dentist looked at me and said "for HER?" pointing at my daughter. I said yes and that the last dentist we went to said there was a lot of work to be done at the next visit and then the following visit she could have her braces put on. The dentist looked at me in shock and said "let me check again." then told me that they had not seen such perfect teeth without braces in ages and that there was zero reason for braces at all. I asked about a retainer for the one tooth that was just a tiny hair line off. Lo and behold, the tooth had straightened itself completely out without intervention. I asked about wisdom teeth and was told she has plenty of room for them to come in and right now they looked perfectly in place to start popping through in the correct way very soon. The dentist asked me who her last dentist was and I told them. They said "I didn't even need to ask. I already knew the answer to that question." Just getting this second opinion saved me $7,000-$10,000 of extra pre-braces work and and braces. read more

My daughter (11 yrs) was having several cavities addressed and had the standard novacaine provided so she was pain free. We were offered laughing gas as an additional comfort and I declined as it the additional expense seemed unnecessary. While my daughter was being treated, one of the assistants/hygienists made disparaging commentary within earshot of my daughter to the effect of: "how is it possible that her mother doesn't have the money to pay for her daughter's treatment while slurping from a Stanley Thermos." My daughter told me about the comment in the elevator and so I returned to the office to address the matter and was blown off and my concern disregarded, neither was any apology offered. During that conversation the front desk staff told me that the doctor and assistant in question had suddenly left but said first that they were talking about their own Stanley and not mine. This explanation makes no sense and essentially calls my daughter a liar. It is highly inappropriate and unprofessional for comments about a parent's financial choices to be made, PERIOD, much less in front of their minor child. One of the names involved was Amber. New parents who get the Nashville Parent will see a TON like a TON advertisements. That right there kept me from coming. Then I wised up. I went to 8 orthodontists in 3 states as my son was still growing. I picked out simliar Orthodontist in Charleston, SC. He had an Old School method. I was worried about that if we moved, we would not find the same thinking. We moved. Went to 3 other places in Nashville before we came here. They understood the Charleston Ortho philosophy and we were back on track to straight teeth. Also, SK were 1/2 of what the Charleston Ortho was and 1/3 less then Green Hills and Belle Meade Orthos. Kid friendly. Movies and TV's in every bay. Kids can see a movie while they lay back. I forget how many TV's I counted. A game room for the kids or big kids too. Small gifts on the way out and like many orthos a chance to change colors on bands every visit. An Adult room where when you sit, you really sit. Get all enclosed in the chairs and the sofas. Water and coffee. Friendly staff, like ALL of them. Except maybe the money girl. She was not as friendly, but hey she has to tell the parents or clients your teeth will cost the price of a used Honda of 8 years. Love love love the Orthodontists here. My son's teeth look amazing and we are not complete just yet. A few more visits and this journey, milestone will end. Do yourself a favor and go here, it takes one less decision off your plate. read more

We used this office for a few years. It got a point where my child had anxiety about going to the dentist. This is not a child friendly office (Murfreesboro) especially when it comes to the assistants and dentist. They also seemed to have lost a few years of x-rays and records due to a computer system/EMR change. When we went to switch to a different office, they could only send the most recent x-rays. So, they either are lying or incompetent. Not very good either way. read more

We just moved here & were looking for new dentist/orthodontist for our 2 girls, which can be hard to find at the same facility. I found them through yelp- my life source for living in a new city :) When I called to make them appts. girls was friendly and very helpful & we were able to get them in for both a cleaning and orthodontist appt within 2 week window. My husband took them for their appts. and he couldn't stop talking about how great they were. My girls were so impressed as well. They said the staff was SO friendly and explained everything so well to them. The dentist- Mr. Snodgrass they said was the nicest man. The facility is decked out with tons of things for the kids entertainment- they said it was like a Dave & Busters at the dentist! We are so pleased that they will be providing care for our girls! read more

NO!!! I am very disappointed and disgusted with this practice. Not only are the front office staff unprofessional, they went out of their way to behave horribly with my family Back office hygienists are incompetent as is Dr. Snodgrass. My children went to the dentist every 6 months and all of a sudden Dr. Snodgrass wants to do 18 fillings on my child. She was in braces for a couple years and to Dr. Snodgrass every 6 months for cleanings and checks. They were incompetent and negligent with performing appropriate exams and treatment. When the braces were removed, small caries located but I was told the x-rays to be done during braces can identify most issues in conjunction with a good dental examination. All we received is excuses and a knee jerk reaction to back track. I had to buy Peridex and a fluoride tooth paste... NOW!! Why was this not recommended previously. This office only cares out getting the kids in the seat and charge, charge, charge Patient's are not the center of the practice - its the money. However, we found another dentist that disagreed with the work Snodgrass recommended, stating the work is excessive and would NOT be in the best interest of my child. He also recommended I get a 2nd opinion based on the info received by Snodgrass and the unsettling nature. We did have the 2nd opinion which was consistent with the doctor who stated the treatment recommended by Snodgrass was excessive This office does not function based on the premise of non-maleficence, as they do not care if harm comes to the patients, as evidenced by our experience. Dr. Snodgrass and his entire staff are phenomenal, trustworthy and the best in the business, bar none. I would not trust my child in anyone else's hands. The experience from the friendly and helpful front office staff, to the treatment coordinators and clinical staff is extraordinary. Highly recommend for all age groups, including adults who they see, also! I have been putting off this review for over a year because I hate leaving negative reviews for small businesses but it pains me to actually NOT write this. So here I go... My 14 month old daughter was running around the house and slipped on a blanket, fell, and hit her front tooth on the hard end of her water bottle... causing her fully formed front tooth to be pushed completely back up into her gums. It was traumatic, scary and the first big event we've ever had to encounter in her little life. We called her pediatrician and they told us to contact a pediatric dentist in the area asap and get seen within 24 hours. So that's what we did. We immediately made an appointment with Snodgrass and Franklin Pediatric Dentistry. That night, I did as much research as I could on the issue because, as a worried parent, that's just what we do! Snodgrass was our first stop the next morning (since her injury happened at 6pm and no one was opened.) We went into Snodgrass and the front staff was what you would expect. Not bad, not excellent. Just average which is totally, 100% fine. We filled out our info, sat amongst the beautifully decorated place and waited. When we went back, the nurse who saw us was great. She took our info. Then Dr. David Snodgrass came in to see us. I was hopeful! Immediately he said we would need to get x-rays and likely just pull the tooth. He said the root was likely damaged, and the tooth would come out gray and dead. Well, having done some research the night before as a hyper-worried momma, I asked him that given the angle of the tooth intrusion, wouldn't it likely have not damaged the roots, giving it a chance of not harming the tooth?.... Immediately he asked me, "Are you the doctor here?" I honestly thought I was about to explode. How dare a physician treat a worried, 1/2 educated, scared AF parent like that. No.. I'm not a doctor. But I have done some research and I don't want to pull my 14 month old daughter's tooth since I feel that it's likely ok given the degree of intrusion. I left, reluctantly paid the 75 dollars for being seen, and went to Franklin Pediatric Dentistry a few hours later for a second opinion. They told me that this kind of trauma could resolve itself and to wait 6 weeks to see if the gums would push down the tooth out on its own before interfering with it. Well... her tooth completely came back down and the root never died. It's a healthy, normal little tooth to this day and she's 3 years old. Seriously, what a joke. If I hadn't researched, or gotten a second opinion, my daughter would be without a front tooth right now and a potential speech impediment from it. I'm SO glad I trusted my gut and didn't let this doctor bully me into something I didn't believe was best for my daughter. read more

We love Snodgrass-king!! Dr. Snodgrass is an unbelievable Dentist. he always takes care of our daughters and helps make them feel very comfortable on the chair. He and his staff are great with our children and constantly updates us and notify us as the process happens. With that being said, we have always received excellent care and my daughter loves Dr. Snodgrass. He always takes the time to sit and talk and is one of the only Dr's that I see that doesn't make me feel like they are rushed to get to the next patient. Most importantly, I found out Dr Snodgrass is a TRUE hero. He did something many years ago that could've cost him his life, just being a good samartian, and continued on his path. Went here when I was 11, Dr. Snodgrass would not listen to my mother about how the drugs wouldn't work for pain or relaxation. I was forcefully strapped down and he forced my mouth open and shoved a tool in that would keep my mouth open. No shots to numb the area, he pulled two teeth out and left part of one in. I had to go to another dentist to get it pulled out, who was very kind and talked to me until the medicine made me fall asleep. I don't know how this evil man is still in business. I was not the only child this happened to, there's been a few more. Thanks to this man, I haven't been to another dentist in 8 years and I have a complete phobia of dentists and having my mouth touched. I also feel like I need to add, that now anything that sounds like a causes me panic attacks. I beg you not to take your child here. Please. I don't know if they allow parents back there now. But don't ever trust a place that will not allow parents back with the child. I do not want to see another child suffer like I did. read more

I used this office for my children's basic cleaning for almost three years. The experiences I had with the staff based on this alone were fine. However, Dr. Snodgrass recommended that my daughter have a phrenectomy (spelling?) and also have an implant placed in the roof of her mouth to stop her thumb sucking and adjust her mouth. He indicated that parents are not allowed in the room while children (my child is 4) are having procedures done. This is unacceptable to me! There is no way I'm sending my fully conscious child back with multiple strangers alone. I simply wanted to be back there with her until she was put under. Prior to having the recommended work done I obtained a second, third, and fourth opinion. Both dentists and the orthodontist I consulted were appalled that these procedures were recommended. They all went on to tell me that many patients experience these types of recommendations from all of the Snodgrass facilities. Further i was told that these procedures are strictly done for profit and may cause serious damage. Multiple complaints were filed against this dentist in a Nashville dental association. Subsequently Snodgrass left the association to avoid the scrutiny. Needless to say, we are no longer patients there. PLEASE get multiple opinions before subjecting your children (or yourself) to any procedure!! read more

Customer service is not a strong suit. I should have known what I was getting into when I was ushered into a "financial planning" room to speak with someone about how I might afford the myriad of procedures that were recommended for my children. My son had a silver cap placed on one of his molars when he was 2 and a few years later it came off (we've had problems with it since it was placed on with food getting stuck underneath, etc.). When I called about it, they said he had to come in for a full exam ($$) before they would recommend a treatment option. I am much happier with our current dentist: Brentwood Dental Specialists who have always treated us with respect, instead of as a money machine. read more

Wish I had read the reviews about this place before I started my daughters treatment plan. Between their rules about not allowing parents to be with their children during treatment, the highest prices in town, and their militant billing processes (can't send me a bill for the remaining amount - have to set it up as AUTO debit from your credit card!), it was a mistake from day one. So this happened about 8 years ago in 2013, and one morning I decided to pull a loose tooth that had been loose for a few weeks, and when I pulled it out it looked like there was another tooth behind it that was blood red, so my parents took me into Snodgrass-King to figure out what it was. After 5 minutes of scanning around my teeth the dentist said "we need to take him back to get his 4 front teeth pulled NOW," without giving us a reason for it and he never specifically told us what the bloody tooth was and why they need to pull 4 teeth(baby teeth), the front ones at that. So my parents decided to send me back but they DON'T ALLOW PARENTS INTO THE OPERATING ROOM, and being a 9 year old with very few surgeries at the time this was extremely frightening. Once I got into the room they put me on laughing gas but I never fell fully to sleep, and once they started the basically tied me down to the bed with grown adults laying on my legs and holding my arms. A few minutes down the line I noticed I could feel them touching my teeth a little bit and the pain grew very quickly. Come to find out THEY FORGOT TO NUMB MY MOUTH or just did a very poor job because, yes as grose as it sounds I could feel my teeth being pulled out, it was some of the most horrendous pain I ever felt and most people including my parents didn't believe me at first but I will get to that later. Before going into the operation we were told very confidently "Oh yeah those front 4 will grow back within a few months 3 at most" Well 2 years later and the last one finally started to bud in.after that experience we started seeing another dentist and the first thing we asked was if pulling the teeth was that necessary, and the new dentist said "If the problem was that severe they only should have to had pulled one or two teeth" but without knowing what that original problem was he couldn't be sure. When I asked him what the numbing process was for an operation like that he said things that Snodgrass-king never did. Overall DO NOT GO HERE. Initially we made an dentist appointment elsewhere for my 4 year old daughter, based on some of the questionable reviews, but we eventually brought her to Snodgrass and are thankful we did. My daughter is super shy and we were not sure if she would even let the dentist look in her mouth etc. but the staff there is so friendly and patient she did great. We took our son to this group based on their commercials and the allure of a "fun" trip to the dentist. The staff was very friendly, but we feel we were pressured into pricey unnecessary treatment for our son's baby teeth (they actually put a crown on one of his teeth). It seemed a little extreme at the time, but we trusted Dr. King. It infuriates me every time I drive by his Brentwood mansion to think that they are taking advantage of families in Williamson Co. Me and My family have been loyal patrons of Snodgrass-King since me and my brother were 5 years old. We've had checkups every year. We've grown fond of the interior and the sweet nurses. But, what we are not fond of is Dr. Snodgrass. Our problems with him started whenever I was getting a tooth pulled. In the consultation before, they pointed out two teeth they wanted to pull, whenever only one was previously discussed. My mother questioned them on why they were pulling two, to that they responded with an apology and the fixing of the problem. However, they would've gone ahead and pulled a tooth unnecessarily if we had not intervened. The enormity of this and other behavioral issues with Dr. Snodgrass, made us seek other orthodontists. We ended up going somewhere else for ortho and continued to go to Snodgrass for routine cleanings. At these cleanings, you always get the stressed warning for brushing and flossing, especcially on the times you have an off week. And of course, if you don't, you risk getting a cavity and having to pay your dentists more money to solve it. In my case, we were warned about an approaching cavity for a while now. I didn't know the consequences of a cavity and imagined it would be solved easily. I went along, with hygiene in a very bad shape similar to most teenage boys, unaware of the weakening enamel on my teeth. I heard terms tossed around at each cleaning, but never understood them. As I was still a child, I had no idea what they meant and didn't think I could ask. Then, about a year ago, I was told that the cavity I had been warned about finally came. I just thought that my bad brushing and flossing had come back around to bite me, and went home. But weeks followed and nothing was there to follow up with. Looking back now, we should've called them and set it up ourselves, we should've taken care of it. However, this dentist office that we had become used to, Snodgrass-King, was usually very good at following up and making our appointments. More weeks and then months passed, and we had another cleanup, this last January. We were told again of my cavities that we needed to take care of. However no follow up appointment was made, as I guess the office thought it was our responsibility to do so, even though Snodgrass-King had been calling and emailing appointment follow-ups for as long as we'd been there. And then this week, we went back for another cleanup, this one with the ultimatum: you need to get this cavity filled or it will start to need a root canal. We finally took it upon ourselves to make an appointment. The filling appointment came, and I went back to the room where it would happen. Waiting the usual dentist times, the procedure began. Tilted all the way back as nurses waited to begin, taking their sweet time to get ready for the operation. As the operation happened, I was told nothing. I thought it was usual procedure for me to have really not a clue what was happening. I had grown up not asking questions and I was not going to change that, especially since I trusted them. But it all came to view. Dr. Snodgrass's lack of time to take care of patients, being the only dentist qualified to do almost anything at Snodgrass-King, along with the anger at anything not done to the way he likes it. He had asked one of the nurses to hold gauze in a certain place. When she did not do it the way he wanted her to, he spat her name and got more mad at the problem. I didn't know that my gums were bleeding heavily and had no idea why these two professionals were having this kind of run-in while i was in the chair. I could forget all of that, but once I got back to my car after the procedure, I noticed a discolored spot on my tooth, I had already left the building and thought it was just temporary so I went on to work. But just to be sure, my mother made an appointment for the next day to check it out. In the appointment, nurses tried to help our problem but no one could explain how the spot got there, and I was clueless. Dr. Snodgrass comes in and gives me a speech on how they did nothing wrong and how this spot was because of my awful hygiene. Every time he was explaining what had happened to it, he blamed it all on my awful hygiene. Keep in mind, this spot appeared after the fillings, not before. Me and my mom had to wait until we asked enough questions for Dr. Snodgrass to explain what had happened to my tooth. Taking no blame, he said they had tried to prevent it by telling me to brush my teeth and floss more. However, I was never told what would happen until now, whenever the damage was done. This would have ALL been fine, if Dr. Snodgrass had kept his temper. Yet, the entire time whenever we were trying to fix the problem and understand what had happened, he interrupted us and spoke anger into the room. He didn't let us finish talking and he left us believing we were the problem. He stormed out and told us to leave. We will not be going back. Thank you if you read it all. read more

We have been going to Snodgrass-King for about 4 years and been very happy with them. They have seen our daughter thru pulling of several teeth, oral surgery, braces and retainers. Love the atmosphere and waiting areas. All staff is always friendly and professional. read more

Had a bad experience with a very aggressive and impersonal Dr. Snodgrass on our first visit, so requested Dr. King for all other appointments. The problem is they never know when their doctors will be at which location until a week or less beforehand. I received a confirmation call Friday for our appointment Tuesday with Dr. King, then was called and informed just this morning (Monday) that Dr. King will be at the Murfreesboro location for an unknown period of time!? The receptionist was unapologetic and unkind. She literally said the words, "We don't know when the doctors will be at which location. Sometimes we have guest dentists come in and out. We cannot guarantee doctor choice." Cancelled the appointment. Done with them. Fun lobby, poor management and a lead doctor (Snodgrass) better suited to adult dentistry. read more

I have gone here four about three years and am very sorry that I ever put foot in this place. First, I have young children (8 and 6 now). For the first couple of years they allowed me to sit in hall with children while getting work. As of last two visits, they will not allow me to go anywhere with kids. They tell me the room is sterilized and no parents are may accompany their children. The room is open with several other work chairs and patients all around them. My daughter had to have a filling and they told me she had to be drugged and go back without me. I think not! Why would they not allow any parent? Second, I have insurance that pays 100 % for cleanings every 6 months. We always scheduled correctly and in the right order. Snodgrass in a in-network provider however I always had to pay $60-70 every time. Called Snodgrass each time and was told that my insurance does not cover everything. Called insurance and they said Snodgrass was billing over reasonable and customary care and I am not responsible for this amount. I talked to Snodgrass three times about contact insurance to work it out and they said they did but I still had to pay. After three years of paying every 6 months. We had to renew insurance (same exact policy and coverage). Now Snodgrass office does not charge any more. Snodgrass had it wrong in their system and will not refund my money. read more

Don't do business with these idiots. While they are competent dentists, it really doesn't matter because their back office and front office is a complete mess. Two years ago my kid had three visits there. Each visit, they would tell me how much to pay them and I would hand over the amount. Simple. A couple of months ago, they sent me a random, cryptic bill for $600. There was no description of the charges or services provided that warranted the charge. After finally getting in touch with someone there (strange billing department hours), they said that it was incorrect and that the amount was really $400. They were sort of hostile about it... like I had dodged them. I told them I didn't owe them a dime... and send everything describing why they think I do. A few weeks later I get a series of printed web pages, marked up with a highlighter and ballpoint pen like a crazy person got a hold of it. They had decided I now owed them $158... basically they forgot to ask me for money a few years ago when they had the chance. Finally a few weeks after that they sent me a bill for the $158. I guess I'm going to pay it... but I certainly can't do business in this sloppy way... why they couldn't get it right then (or now) is beyond me. Anybody can clean teeth, it's not rocket science. Save yourself the time and trouble and deal with people who can add and subtract! read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced! They created a treatment plan to be divided up so insurance would cover costs. Instead they did ALL the work in one sitting. My 4 year old was asleep the entire day through the night! The next day I noticed he was still in tremendous pain and it was then I saw that not only was half the work done but all of it was done! I immediately called and explained to them that this was not our treatment plan and I wanted to know how they were going to proceed in filing this claim that was over our allowed max. After a while on hold, I was told I did not need to worry about the remainder of the bill because it was their mistake. I asked that they put a note on the account and mark it as zero balance due. We never received a bill so I did not worry about it. Now, 2 months later at an unrelated appointment, I am told that there is over an $800 balance on the account. The very rude Jessica , who told me to stop talking, said I still needed to pay regardless. She must have made up about 4 excuses ( none of which were relevant) as to why we still owe this balance. I reminded her that I would come in and show her the treatment plan that she herself wrote down.. I will never recommend this place and I will never step foot in it again. I will make sure the BBB and Dental Board are aware of the false practices and enormous error in their financial and claims department. You can bet if there is any legal approach I can take to this, I will. read more

I will never take my child back to this place. All they want is money. We went to the location in Spring Hill. Maybe if they didn't worry about all that crazy advertising they do they wouldn't try to do outrageous procedures on small children. I took her there because what I read on their website seemed reliable. They told me it was my fault that she had a problem with her teeth and that she would need all of her teeth capped by the time she was 2. They also posted stuff on their site saying that whatever happens to their baby teeth is guaranteed to happen to their permanent teeth. I got a 2nd opinion and her current dentist looked at me like I was crazy when I told her what u had read and been told. Needless to say her teeth were fine just a simple thing. She's 3 now and her teeth are still doing fine. I tell everyone that asks not to go to Snodgrass. I've also had a family friend take her child there and they told her the little girl would need $700 worth of work done. She had a second opinion and she only needed 1 tooth worked on. I don't recommend this place at all. You should think twice about them before you go. read more

The glue on my bottom retainer came off on one side. I only needed to have glue removed from one side and new glue added to reattach the loose retainer. They charged me $150 for really crappy service. They drilled the old glue off and expected me to swallow this crap. I jumped up to spit it out and had to keep doing this since they were not going to provide any suction. They seemed put off by my need to spit and rinse the debris from my mouth. After they filed with my insurance, the entire amount was paid by my insurance. I called and emailed the appropriate paper work to get my money back but after over 6 months, I still have not received my money so essentially they are double dipping. And to top it off, my retainer just came off on the same side. I won't be going back there to chew on more glue and I would never bring my child here. Find a dentist that actually cares about your teeth. I will say the front staff was very friendly. But even that doesn't make up for the bad attitude in the back. read more
