We ordered a plain hamburger with fries, salad with chicken breast and a 2-piece fish basket and that was $73. Limited seating inside so expect to seat on the patio, right on the water. We came to the spot as a recommendation from the resort we were staying on Padre Island. The location is on the water, which was a draw.. once we open the door the charm was gone. It's very dark and dingy inside of the restaurant. When you walk through the double doors you order at a counter cafeteria style. Once you order your food, they call you overhead and you have to go and pick it up to bring to your table. This is definitely not a fine dining experience at all. The menu options were vast and varied overall everything was fried. They only had a few other options that were not fried options. They also don't have too many non-seafood options. If this is your thing and go ahead and try it, it's definitely not our favorite. The red fish was the non fried option it wasn't so hot which takes away from the quality. The hushpuppies were super dense and not hot. That was the theme. We wanted seafood but were not impressed. The cost is high considering you order , seat yourself and pick up your own food. We were able to grab a table on the water for 6 of us. We love to start our girls beach weekend with lunch at Snoopy's Pier. This year I got fried oysters and instead of fries I got okra. A DJ was there running karaoke, which added to the vibe. You order your food at the register and then find a seat. They call your name over the intercom when your food is ready, but it was a little hard to hear from where we were sitting because of the music. The menu encourages you to add sides, which range from three to four dollars. It's a little misleading if you're not paying attention, but the portions are large. You can also order individual items a la carte, like fish or shrimp. We got a dozen shrimp. They were huge and perfectly fried. We also ordered the Snoopy's combo, which came with fries, four fried oysters, four shrimp, and fried fish. The fish wasn't cut like a filet, more like two big fish nuggets. Still, everything came out hot, fresh, and in large portions. We hadn't been here since we were kids. Visited Snoopy's this weekend for dinner. It's beach shack ambiance. I ordered a cod fish sandwich for 12.95. I noticed I was charged 17.75. Was the water charged? No. Was tip included? No. There was a credit card upcharge of 3% and tax but that's not unusual. The sandwich rang up at 15.95. When I questioned the cashier, she shrugged and said, "I guess it went up." Please change your menu to reflect the correct prices. The sandwich was delicious, btw but this experience was annoying enough to not recommend. read more

This was my first time here and my wife's first time here in about 20 years. The atmosphere is a 10/10, the place is full of charm and stories. The food was pretty mid and best. The burger was the most bland burger I've ever had in my life. My wife took one bite of hers and didn't even try to choke the rest down. Fries and hush puppies were good. I was in the mood for fried fish so I stopped by Snoopy's on my way back from Port Aransas, heading towards Corpus Christi. I got the 5 piece fried fish. Delicious overall but could have used a little more salt. The tartar sauce was good too but could have used more flavor. Best part was that 2 pieces were stuck together so I actually got 6 pieces for the price of 5. But the dish was extremely expensive anyway so I wouldn't call it a great deal. The ambiance is what you would expect from a seafood bar. The outdoor seating overlooks the water, but tables are hard to come by on a Saturday evening. Service was OK. It's one of those places that makes you tip as you order and pay, so you haven't actually experienced the service when you need to make that decision. Surprisingly, there was lots of parking available though my car did end up getting blocked in by a truck towing a boat. Minor annoyance and they eventually moved without issue. read more

Boo really wanted some fresh fish and chips while we visited Corpus and found this place on his Google searches. We are pleasantly surprised with the freshness of the food and the friendly staff! It's a busy place and during our visit there were many young pre-teens. It was loud, but hey it's the last hump before school starts!! You order at a counter and then your food is brought to you on a cafeteria style tray with plastic ware to eat with - we both ordered mahi mahi and it was tough, cold and tasteless except for the over seasoning of blackened spice and lemon pepper..we could hardly cut through the fish - rice was cold and the coleslaw is blah - there was also no choice given as sides which they have plenty of! Each meal cost $30 and wasn't worth $10 - we certainly don't mind paying for good food but this was outrageous! They have a sad bar (didn't know how to make an Old Fashioned) As one person wrote, the building needs repair and there were a lot of messy puddles!!
