Was looking for a really good seafood spot here since I was visiting for the weekend, and stumbled across snoopy's! The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable and not super expensive like some other places. This will be one of the spots I come back to whenever i'm in town. The portions are generous, my family and I ordered a bunch of food for all of us to share and we definitely had enough for all 6 of us. The vibe of the place being right next to the water is the best part!

Lunch was delish!!! The hubby had a burger with pepper jack cheese and a jalapeno bun... The fried shrimp basket and an order of the stuffed crab jalapeños. Incredible

They have yummy fresh caught fish. I love the fact that they are dog friendly! We enjoyed our food and ice cream.

Awesome place! Great service, great food and great view. We stopped in with the whole crew including a dog and a toddler. They were very accommodating and checked in on us multiple times. We had the blackened mahi and the shrimp sandwich, which were perfection. Can't wait to come back again!

We wanted good fried seafood, ended up with mediocre over priced fried seafood. We both had the Fried combo which comes with fish, shrimp and oysters. Fish and shrimp were average and the oysters were a bit too undercooked for us. The hush puppies and fried okra were the best part of the meal. You order at the counter, your name is called when your order is ready and you eat on Styrofoam plates. We both walked away a bit let down by the experience.

We arrived at 6 p.m. and brought our dogs. There's a dog-friendly patio with plenty of shade and seating near Scoopy's, the dessert spot next door. A DJ was there running karaoke, which added to the vibe. You order your food at the register and then find a seat. They call your name over the intercom when your food is ready, but it was a little hard to hear from where we were sitting because of the music. The menu encourages you to add sides, which range from three to four dollars. It's a little misleading if you're not paying attention, but the portions are large. You can also order individual items a la carte, like fish or shrimp. We got a dozen shrimp. They were huge and perfectly fried. We also ordered the Snoopy's combo, which came with fries, four fried oysters, four shrimp, and fried fish. The fish wasn't cut like a filet, more like two big fish nuggets. Still, everything came out hot, fresh, and in large portions. We hadn't been here since we were kids. We came back for the nostalgia but ended up getting a solid meal and some fun karaoke entertainment. The dog-friendly patio was a nice bonus.

Some of the best seafood in Corpus Christi. The sunset views alone are worth the trip. Come for the food and stay for the sunset views.

Why, oh why, Snoopy's?! You used to be so good! The fish was tough, the breading sucked, the portions tiny and overpriced. But we wouldn't have wanted to eat it all anyway. It was not palatable. The howling sounds of the karaoke drowned out any peacefulness the bay offered and disrupted any chance of healthy digestion. And that is every night? But the food! What happened?! So sorry we won't be back.

Location, location location. Food is standard. Beers were cold which was good enough for me. Sat outside at the bar so we could get full service (regular dinner has to be ordered at the door and picked up) . Our bartender was a little scattered and lacking knowledge about the menu but we survived. Ordered GRILLED shrimp, rice and vegetables. Got stir fry shrimp, rice and vegetables all combined. That was yuck. I just ate the shrimp. Fans would be nice to eliminate the mosquitos. If you have no expectations of a beach bar / restaurant you won't be disappointed here. FYI, they pass on the credit card processing fee to you.

Kids male portions were well sized. We had the fish and chips plate became with four small pieces of fish. The food was pretty average, but tasted OK. The view was really nice. They had a performer singing on one side of the deck. It was nice. Definitely worth going to enjoy a beautiful view of the water while enjoying your food. Separate cashier area bartends.

Snoopy's Pier Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Snoopy's Pier

Does Snoopy's Pier serve clam chowder?

There was no chowder or gumbo listed on their menu online or when I visited in August 2019.

What is the price range for entree meals? We have a group of people that are going out to eat tomorrow and have different budgets?

My husband's meal was 19.00 and some change and I think mine was about 15.00 and some change

Is snoopy's pet / dog friendly?

I don't know but most restaurants are not due to health codes unless it's a service dog.

Being a family-inclusive establishment,…read morethere's a good chance groups of kids are present and when we were here, there was a table of very badly behaved adults AND children which created a very disruptive environment. Staff just stood and stared at them instead of asking them to take it down about 8 notches. It really took a good bit of enjoyment away for a lot of customers. Since breakfast was available, we went in that direction...for lunch. Served all day. I got the Islander and wife got the Silver Alert. Mine was basically a larger version of hers. The sausage was really tasty. The hashbrowns on my plate (she didn't get them) were exactly like McD's or other fast food joints. I was hoping for homemade style and not frozen fast food style. The eggs tasted a little odd to me...maybe the oil used? Still tasty, though. Bacon cooked crispy. Good breakfast overall. Wife did want to try a starter and she chose the baked goat cheese/toast appetizer. She really enjoyed it...not really for my palate. Personal taste there. Several people who left reviews mentioned the wait time. We were told it would be 30 minutes when we arrived...but there's really no place for people to wait. However, they found a booth for a group sitting just inside the door and then asked if we would like to sit there. Sure...problem solved in about 5 minutes. Aside from the wait/no wait situation, it took a really long time for service and arrival of food. It's a smallish seating area overall for such business. Hopefully business is so good they'll look to expand to accommodate such demand.

Padre Island Burger Company gets a solid 3/5 from yours truly, and honestly mate, I'm being…read moregenerous because the atmosphere and seaside setting did a fair bit of heavy lifting. let me explain myself properly. This place screams modern tourist burger joint. The sort of establishment where every burger arrives with twelve unnecessary toppings, a quirky name, and a price tag that makes you briefly consider checking your credit score before ordering. Quite frankly the place should be renamed "Upcharge Central" or perhaps "Tourist Burgers Built for Photos, Not Stomachs" The outdoor seating itself is lovely though. Proper island atmosphere. Wooden picnic tables, sea breeze rolling through, cold drinks sweating in the Texas heat, tourists waddling about sunburnt and optimistic. It's the kind of setting where you want the burger to absolutely save your afternoon. Unfortunately... Mine did the complete opposite. I ordered their "world famous" Lulu Burger, their take on a jalapeño popper burger, and I genuinely believe it may have been one of the worst burgers I've had in the last couple years. Now look, I'm not against creativity. I enjoy innovation. But somewhere along the line society decided burgers needed to become science experiments. The moment that completely sent me over the edge? A massive slab of cold cream cheese slapped directly onto the burger. Not melted. Not slightly warm. Not blended into the burger. No mate. Refrigerator cold. The sort of cold where you could practically still see the HEB dairy aisle condensation on it. Completely threw off the texture and turned every bite into a confusing mess of hot beef meeting Arctic dairy product. Absolutely criminal behaviour. Now to be fair, my lovely date ordered the Hangover Burger which was noticeably better. Fried egg, bacon, cheesy goodness, all the things you'd expect after a rough Friday evening involving tequila and poor decisions. Still overpriced for what it was, but at least it tasted like somebody in the kitchen had a coherent vision. The sweet potato fries were actually quite decent as well. Crisp edges, soft middle, solid seasoning. No complaints there. Maybe I'm old school. Maybe I'm too particular. But when I think burger joint, my mental checklist is simple: Hot burger. Balanced toppings. Quality beef. Reasonable price. No culinary jump scares. And unfortunately this place missed the mark on several fronts. 3/5. Lovely atmosphere, decent service, and a fun island vibe, but the burgers themselves simply didn't justify the hype or the price tag.

As a vegan, that made me excited because actual Mexican food usually has less cheese and can be made vegan. The business is quaint. I'm not a professional food critic, but I do know seasoning, regional Mexican flavors, and what well‑prepared food should taste like -- and this just wasn't it for us. The restaurant didn't feel well-kept, and it appeared that only one server and one cook were working, plus we and another couple were the only ones there. We were served chips and salsa to start. The salsa, a taquera‑style orange sauce, was actually the best part of the meal. The chips, however, were extremely hard, not fresh, and definitely not warm. They looked house‑made, but whatever they were fried in made them almost inedible. I ordered the ribeye street tacos, and the steak was overcooked, had an odd taste, and wasn't enjoyable. I asked for extra cilantro and onions, which didn't happen, and the chimichurri they brought out was basically oil with a few seasonings floating in it. I almost complimented the Dr Pepper because it had a unique sweetness -- until I realized why. The red glass had visible staining on the inside. When I wiped the rim with my napkin, it came off dirty. They also don't offer straws, so whatever residue was in that glass is what you end up drinking. Between the food quality, the cleanliness concerns, and the overall condition of the restaurant, this was a no for us. How this place has earned such high mentions is honestly beyond me.
