A great breakfast spot right in a vibrant student area! The atmosphere is very cool and laid-back, with a fun, energetic vibe. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. The breakfast was excellent--especially the pancakes and Eggs Benedict, which were absolutely delicious. If you're looking for a solid breakfast place with good food and great people, this is definitely worth a visit!

Bacon But Different

5 stars for the bacon alone! TIP: Yelp waitlist helped us only wait 20 minutes once we got there, instead of an hour. (The bacon would be worth waiting an hour for though.)

I love the mugs

Came here to meet up with friends and we had such a good time!! Our waiter was so nice and did such a good job with our large party. The food was delicious! So filling and such great flavors! The restaurant has pretty good amount of seating, if just hard if you have a large group. We'll be back though! We had a great time

Pancake Flight Customized

There was a long wait on a Sunday morning. I would recommend signing up for the waitlist ahead of time to reduce your wait. If you sign up online, make sure you check in at the front so they know you're there. We didn't and got taken off of the waitlist, but luckily they were still able to seat us once we figured it out. The drinks were great. I got the Boozy Strawberry Lavender Lemonade. It was sweet and not too strong. The pancake flight was great and allowed us to try different flavors. The pancakes were fluffy and were generous with toppings. The Spuds Deluxe was good, but could've used more seasoning and hot sauce. I would get the drink and the pancake flight again. We sat on the patio and was a nice environment on a sunny, but not too hot day.

Snooze is amazing! I ordered breakfast for my work from here (quite a large order) and they made it so easy. Food was ready at the time I selected and they even wrote the names of each person on the boxes that made my life so much easier when passing the food out. Someone ever helped me carry the food to my car. I will definitely keep them at the top of the list for future orders!

Benny Duo was so good

Super cute and yummy brunch spot! They're open daily 6:30am-2:30pm Parking can be difficult but there is paid parking structure next to it Service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming Inside was very clean and spacious with plenty of seating! Menu had a good variety of popular brunch dishes and most dishes were $15-$18. They even have weekday specials ($10-$11) and there's 5 delicious options but dine-in only! Loved that there was Benny Duo ($17.95) which is perfect for those who are indecisive because there's the option to pick half portions of 2 Benedicts! Got the Smashed Avocado Benedict & Bella! Bella! Benny! Both Benedicts was so delicious! The egg was poached perfectly! The ingredients were so fresh and bursting with flavor in every bite! If I had to pick a favorite between the 2, it would have to be the Smashed Avocado because the Bella! Bella! Benny! felt too heavy and a bit too salty. The Pancake Flight ($14.25) was so yummy! Got 3 pancakes and the pancakes were all different flavors - pineapple upside down, cinnamon roll, and strawberry shortcake! The pineapple upside down was so good and had chunks of pineapple in every bite! The cinnamon roll was yummy and wasn't too sweet! The strawberry shortcake was my favorite! It had fresh strawberry pieces topped with vanilla cream! The pancakes were so soft, fluffy, and delicious! The Boozy Strawberry Lavendar Lemonade ($10.95) was very refreshing and not too sweet or sour. Didn't really taste the Lavendar which I was fine with since I'm not a big fan of it. I really enjoyed how it wasn't too strong and it wasn't bitter! The Snooze Classic ($13.75) was a pretty good deal! It came with 3 eggs, choice of bacon, sausage, ham, or chorizo, hash browns, and toast. Everything was cooked very good and not too salty or greasy. Really enjoyed how everything was so fresh and tasted so tasty! Overall, I really enjoyed my food so I will definitely return and recommend!

Brunch at Snooze an AM Eatery was a solid experience, especially if you're looking for plant based options. I ordered the Banana Bliss Pancakes and they were light, fluffy, and naturally sweet from the banana. The coconut and almond milks gave them a little richness without feeling heavy, and the strawberries, blueberries, and maple syrup were a great combo. My friend ordered the Almond Butter Coconut Porridge with the shredded potatoes and enjoyed both. I also had the Super Greens juice, which was refreshing and balanced with a nice ginger kick. There were five of us total. Two friends had trouble finding parking because of a festival nearby, and even though most of us were there, we weren't seated right away. We had to ask a few times and eventually get the manager involved. By the time we were seated, our friends showed up shortly after. A couple of us originally ordered the Rejuvenate juice, but they were out, so we switched to the Super Greens. They only brought two since they were also out of celery juice. That part was disappointing, but the waitress was really sweet. Overall, Snooze is a good brunch spot with solid plant forward options.

Pancakes rocked. Bacon was also awesome. Great place to sit outside and enjoy the weather!!!

My son had graduated from ASU mid May and we traveled to Arizona to congratulate him. I can't seem to come to Tempe without going to snooze. There is something about those orange awnings and sitting on the patio that is just so fun in the summer Add that they really know how to hire great servers which makes going they're a good time This time it was so good we came back twice. The first time we went I got my standard avocado toast, and my son got some type of eggs Benedict each entrée was delicious. The second time I decided to try something that I've never tried before. Oh and I am so glad I did. It was the smashed sweet potatoes with asparagus with an egg on top. Let me tell you I am home in Ohio and I am still dreaming about that. Snooze, I wish you would put a location in Columbus, Ohio, maybe in Grandview, which is right around the corner from The Ohio State University

Always a fun time here. Went to the tempe one this time and was equally fun. There was a 20 minute wait, and usually they are open for reservations on OpenTable or yelp? But this time it wasn't the case. Nevertheless, weather was beautiful so we didn't mind.. ! Brunch was delicious!

Huge spot for a great breakfast, lunch or brunch. The servers were so friendly and pleasant. They make sure you start your day right. They were very accommodating to our diet needs. The breakfast burritos, potato bowl and lavender lattes are delicious. The place is clean and lively with a steady flow of patrons throughout the day

Strawberry martini

The vibe is similar to a 1960s diner. Very open and lots of outside seating. I suggest using the waitlist online to get a spot in line before you show up. I got their new whipped cottage cheese bowl and it was sooo good. Also ordered one of their specialty drinks (abricalavra). It was very nicely done. My friend ordered a strawberry martini too. Every thing came out quickly.

Whipped Cottage Cheese Toast and side of Snooze Signature Bacon

The service was top tier! Our server Jordy was an absolute gem! He was attentive and patience as we ordered, gave an amazing recommendation to my Dad off the Father's Day menu; spicy pork belly Benedict. 10/10 on portion size, 10/10 ambiance and 10/10 for the whole restaurant!! We are from California and have family here, we WILL be returning soon! See yall next time!

Ask the Community - Snooze, an A.M. Eatery

How is parking on a weekend morning? Where do most people park?

Since this location is in the heart of ASU, there's usually free parking on the weekends so any spot on the street (not on the curb) is free. We usually get there around 9-9:30 on Sunday mornings and we usually find a spot on the street on E 6th St…

Do you take reservations?

They have a check in system through yelp where you can put your name on the waitlist before you get there. I used it a few weeks ago and out worked great and the wait time was pretty accurate too.

Do they serve espresso martinis?

Delaney, Unfortunately, we do not offer espresso martinis, but we definitely have other beverage options to choose from!

Is your patio dog friendly?

Hi Jessica! Yes - all of our Snooze patios are dog friendly. We look forward to meeting your pup!

Do they offer bottomless mimosas?

Hi Jamee! We do not offer bottomless mimosas, but we do have a great bubbles & morning cocktails list on our menu.

Do you need a reservation? Specifically on a Monday morning.

Hi Bethany! We are currently not doing reservations but we do have a new remote waitlist where you can join the waitlist no matter where you are. It will also show real-time wait times. You can find it on your local Snooze's Yelp page.

How are their portions? I've been to the Gilbert location and I feel their portions are not as big as the ones in San Diego Hillcrest location. Update: Pancakes are cheap to make. Eggs and meat, not so much. How are portions for eggs and meat?

small portions. i agree. not worth the price, although the food is good. i'd rather pay more and get a decent size serving

Love it! I started out with a cocktail - the Mega Viral! Once you try it, you will understand the name. One of the more innovative cocktails I have ever had... and I ended up having two! So delicious and an experience in itself!! We enjoyed some light bites as well - the Edamame Hummus and Shishito Peppers. Both were fantastic! I love that their menu points out which items are gluten-free... and our server even warned me that the plantain chips in the Edamame Hummus could have cross-contamination... so I very much appreciate that heads up! I opted to order them anyway and I am so glad I did - so good! And I experienced no gluten issues. Awesome! I'm already looking forward to a return trip! The chicken tenders were fire!!! What is lacking on this occasion was service. The server that we had was so unattentative. I have never been in a cocktail lounge in my life and had to beg for drinks. Our server would wait until every drinks was made for all of her tables before bringing out drinks. It was ridiculous. She was nice but seemed high. I ended up only having 2 drinks. We would have ordered more but they have 90min max seating and we didn't event get drinks for the first 30min. No exaggeration. Also one of my drinks I had to send back. My apple martini tasted like soap. It was like they did clean the glass after giving a soap bath. No bueno. So they need to get their service to match the vibe of a true cocktails lounge. Yes it is a 70s vibe but doesn't mean the lackadaisical style service. I would come back and try again. The music, the atmosphere and the food was good. They gotta get these cocktails together and service. We ended up walking to nearby competitors and that was money lost for DDG.

Loved this place!…read more First, we had to change our reservation, and the host could not have been nicer. On a busy Saturday night, he graciously allowed us to push it back by an hour, which we really appreciated. When we arrived, we were immediately impressed. The jungle theme, leopard prints, intimate booths, and dramatic overhead lighting created a fun, unique atmosphere. The service was excellent, the cocktails were delicious, and every dish we ordered was a hit. My son said it may have been the best steak tartare he's ever had (although neither of us was a fan of the plantain chips). It was certainly the best tartare I've had in a very long time, with generous chunks of high-quality steak instead of being overly minced. The baked brie dip was outstanding, the grilled oysters were excellent, and my New York strip was cooked perfectly. My only small criticism is that the oyster appetizer came with just three oysters. For a $19 appetizer, I'd love to see at least four. An even number also makes sharing much easier, although my son generously let me have the extra one! Overall, this is a fantastic concept with great food, great service, and a memorable atmosphere. We can't wait to come back.

Both were really good but had a bit of a kick. For my entree I got the steak and it was cooked perfectly and the chimichurri sauce was so good. Lastly, I got the miso cheesecake for dessert and the flavors were incredible! I love the animal and jungle themed decor in this upscale restaurant. We were seated right next to the big stuffed leopard which was fun. Our waitress was super personable but there were a few service mistakes. My entree was missing the potatoes it was supposed to come with. And when they boxed my meal, they didn't include everything like the salad and chimichurri sauce. Luckily I checked and was able to get everything added, but staff shouldn't be neglecting or throwing away part of my meal. I would definitely come back here though as the ambience and food were top notch!

It's the kind of restaurant that makes getting dressed up feel exciting and worth it, and I absolutely loved that about the experience. It felt like such a perfect date night spot or place to celebrate something special. The servers were also extremely attentive the entire night. Everyone was friendly, professional, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling overbearing. The service honestly matched the upscale atmosphere perfectly and made the whole experience feel even more polished. And OMG... the food. SO SO SO SO SO GOOD. Like genuinely one of those meals where every single bite makes you pause for a second because it tastes that incredible. I got the chicken orzo along with the lime icebox cake for dessert, and both were absolutely amazingggg. The chicken orzo was phenomenal. The lemon flavor throughout the orzo was bright, fresh, and flavorful without being overpowering, and the tomatoes were the PERFECT addition because they balanced everything so well and added a little sweetness and freshness to the dish. But the chicken... wow. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside while still being super juicy and tender inside, which is honestly hard to do. Every component of the dish worked together perfectly. Magnificent is genuinely the best word for it. And the lime icebox cake was the perfect ending to the meal, refreshing, creamy, flavorful, and not too heavy after dinner. Honestly, I'm sitting here craving the food again just looking back at the pictures I took. This is definitely one of those restaurants that sticks in your mind long after you leave.

The restaurant itself is very cute and clearly designed for photos, which matches what I saw on their Instagram. Service overall was fantastic. The food, however, was just okay. I ordered the burrata and fig plate and was told they'd replace the bread with apple slices. I received five very small slices of apple, and when the plate was set down the waitress said she'd get more if needed. I later noticed I was charged $2 for an additional five slices, which together didn't even amount to half an apple. Ironically, the bread that comes with the dish would have been far more substantial. The burrata was fine, but nothing memorable. My friend ordered the chicken and brussels sprouts and didn't even finish it before having the plate taken away. The flourless almond cake was the star, a bit salty on its own, but with the ice cream and whipped cream it was a delightful combo which were the highlight. Overall, this is a great spot for cocktails, ambiance, and photos, but the food is fairly mediocre compared to the setting.

I called hoping to find out my server's name so I could give him the recognition he deserved. I called a couple of times, left a voicemail, and only received a text saying, "Maybe it was Ryan." Since we were planning the event from out of town, having a team we could trust was incredibly important -- and Bailey and the entire staff handled everything flawlessly. Even the decorations were set up beautifully and exactly as we had hoped. The food was excellent, the staff was friendly and attentive, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. A special thank you to Bailey, the Event Coordinator, who was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. She was organized, responsive, and made everything feel easy and stress-free leading up to the event and the night of the dinner. The highlight was definitely the Rafter Room -- it was even more impressive in person than in the pictures. The space had a great atmosphere for a rehearsal dinner and made the evening feel really special for our family and guests. Highly recommend The Social Hall for anyone looking to host a private event in Tempe.

My first visit to Social Hall a few weeks ago was outstanding…read more I visited with my sister, daughter, and 6-year-old grandson on a Sunday afternoon shortly after opening. The restaurant is much larger than I expected and beautifully designed. We were greeted immediately, seated quickly, and had a wonderful server who walked us through the menu and offered recommendations. The food was excellent. I ordered the brisket nachos from the small plates menu and was shocked by the portion size. They arrived hot and loaded with toppings, including a generous helping of tender, well-seasoned brisket. My daughter's Brussels sprouts were crispy, flavorful, and topped with bacon. My sister loved her cheeseburger and truffle fries, and my grandson couldn't stop saying, "This some good food, Ma!" with every bite of his mac and cheese. What really sealed the experience was when the manager stopped by our table. She was warm, welcoming, shared some history about the restaurant, and made us feel genuinely appreciated as first-time guests. We left already talking about when we'd come back. Because of that experience, I brought additional family members and a friend back last night. Unfortunately, the second visit was very different. Our waitress was wonderful and provided excellent service, but the food lacked the quality and flavor we experienced the first time. I ordered the same brisket nachos and Brussels sprouts, but the portions and seasoning were noticeably different. The Brussels sprouts weren't as crispy or flavorful, and the nachos had very little brisket. When I mentioned it, our waitress graciously brought out more brisket, which I appreciated, but the dish still wasn't the same. Others in our group were disappointed as well. The wings lacked flavor, a burger was overcooked, and my son--who is a chef and was excited to try--didn't particularly enjoy his meal. The contrast between our two visits was surprising. Our first experience was easily 5 stars, while our second left us questioning whether we'd return. That said, because our first visit was so impressive, I'm willing to believe this may have simply been an off night. Social Hall clearly has the potential to deliver an excellent dining experience. I'm hopeful our second visit was the exception rather than the rule, and I would consider giving them another chance in the future.
