I've eaten here a number of times since it opened and found the service to be great and the belly bacon always delicious. The one thing that always bugged me though is I've always hated the hash browns molded into a tour. Well today, while doing breakfast with some friends, the waiter let us know we could get the hash browns mashed down and fried crispy. i didn't get any but some of my friends did and they are everything a breakfast hash brown should be, flattened out and crispy all over. I asked if this was a new thing and the wait person told me no, it was always available and not listed so you have to ask for it. Well Snooze, knowing that I can get my hash browns the way I want them kicks you up a star. OMG... Fantastic breakfast and experience. First time here and our server Vinny and Steven were AMAZING! Recommendations were spot on and we ended up ordering some really amazing breakfast plates. Although the breakfast pot pie and the breakfast burrito are their most popular, my favorite was the Juevos Ranceros with pulled pork on corn tortillas and the Traditional and Winter Harvest Eggs Benedict. If you love pancakes then you have to try the upside down pineapple pancake. It lives up to its name and taste like heaven! You definitely have to try breakfast here at Snooze! read more

It was pretty good but not great. The pot pie itself was good but it got kind of tiring to eat after a while. The hash was bland IMO but maybe I just have very salty taste buds. I'm sure a lot of other items on the menu would have been good, but I just didn't get the best. They also have very interesting alcoholic drinks that I wanted to try, but didn't have a chance to. Service was great. The employees there are very nice. It was a nice sunny day out so we sat outside with the umbrella. It felt so nice. Delicious! I got the corned beef hash & actually finished it (I never finish plates). The server was really sweet and helpful as well. They also had a more convenient payment system at the table which was quite nice. My friend got the breakfast tacos with corn tortillas which she loved. We'd both come back again. She also got their orange juice which was obviously fresh squeezed and looked good. One of the best breakfast spots in the east valley! It's ALWAYS packed and they don't take reservations. However, since the location is downtown you can easily pass the time at the farmers market on weekends or walk around and look at the cuteness of downtown. They will text you when your table is ready. The lattes and mochas are excellent, breakfast tacos (with flour tortillas, the corn falls apart easily) and all their pancakes are out of this world. Be prepared for a wait! But it's worth it and there is plenty of room to wait comfortably and the bathrooms are centrally located for easy access which was nice. The location is great and the ambiance and decor was great. Our server was noticeably overwhelmed and our service time was a bit long but we were visiting with friends so we're not rushing, don't come here in a hurry. I have to admit that I love their pancakes. I've been here several times and every single time I always order the pancakes. I come here with friends most of the time and my friends apparently are perfectly normal well-adjusted people and order different types of breakfast items but me, I order the pancakes every single time. Of course they have great toast because that's the only other thing I've ever had here. And I'm sure that their other breakfast items are fine it's just that I've only had pancakes here. This was my second time to Snooze and this time I remembered to snap a quick pic before devouring my amazing breakfast! Snooze is a hot spot for breakfast and will get very crowded on the weekends especially since it is located on ASU campus. You will see your fair share of sorority girls and frat bros but don't let that deter you from enjoying the creative breakfast selections. I went for the vegetarian friendly Eggs Benedict and was very pleased. They serve their hash browns made into a small cone with good flavor but I do prefer mine slightly crispier. The eggs are cooked to perfection and are served on top of a wide range of fun selections. They also have some tasty sounding sandwiches and plates that I have yet to try. The service is decent but you can tell they are trying to move you through as quickly as possible. They clear your table before you're really done eating and bring the check when you're only half way through your meal. This doesn't bother me too much since I'd rather not wait forever to get my check, but I don't like feeling rushed either. Despite the long waits and mediocre service Snooze is totally worth it because they are friendly and most important the food is fabulous! read more

Delicious, fresh breakfast foods. Food came out just as ordered for our party of six, and quickly. The unique takes on breakfast aren't too "hipster-ish or granola" so I like it. They definitely boast a different menu of the classics without adding fresh mountain alpine arugula or southeastern Cuban coast seaweed to every dish. (Refreshing in a time where people are trying to hard sometimes.) Atmosphere is very fun and friendly. We experienced a theme day the Sunday we went. It was beach day so the servers were wearing floaties and sunscreen noses. Very nice touch. Service was phenomenal. Very good team effort/vibe, coupled with quick, attentive service and thorough but timely check backs from our server. It was a small 10 minute wait but this was the off college season. This is my second attempt at enjoying brunch at this location. Both times were mediocre and lukewarm. If you like hot breakfast food, you're better off at IHOP. The food was warm, not hot, and you'll be picking hair, egg shells, or burnt pieces out of your food. Not only do you have to pay to park, they'll also charge for you condiments like mustard, or their available sauces. The food was flavorful and I do recommend the 3-egg omelet as you get to pick your ingredients. This option is optimal if you're health conscious or have dietary restrictions. They also have an egg-White option that has the same offering but is $.50 more. It's important to note that if you get pancakes, they do put powdered sugar on top of each pancake option, so if you're watching your sugar intake, you'll have to ask to opt out. Their loose leaf hot tea is good and you can mix the flavors. I doubt I will be back to this location. The restaurant was clean but the servers looked like they just rolled out of bed. For the price of the food, you expect better quality from the food as well as staff. Weekend, or weekday, don't set your expectations too high. read more

Me and my wife went for breakfast on Friday morning. The place was busy but they got us in pretty quick. Anna was our waitress and she was great. She was on it as far as getting us whatever we needed even though she had a couple other big parties. And she kept on smiling. The food was great. I had a burrito and my wife had a few eggs. Portions were big!! I would definitely recommend this place. And if we are back in the Tempe area again we will be eating here for sure read more

I think this a great place to grab breakfast with friends because there are a lot of different things to try on the menu. My first time here a couple years ago was a bad experience, but the couple times after since I've gone they've been really good. At first I was going to get an egg dish and get a pancake on the side but the pancake was FOUR DOLLARS. FOUR DOLLARS FOR ONE PANCAKE. AND NOT EVEN A BIG PANCAKE, JUST A NORMAL SIZED PANCAKE. lol, ya'll are funny. So instead, I got the pancake flight this time around and it was such a good decision. Three pancakes, three different flavors, so yum. I was only not feeling the pumpkin pancake, so I wish I would have gotten a different kind. BUT they had their pancake of the day which had chocolate and pomegranate and it was probably one of the best flavored pancakes I've ever eaten. I definitely suggest getting this flight if you can't choose from their selection. The only problem I have is the portions are pretty small while the prices are fairly high.
