We were passing through town and found Snooze because the offer veggie options as well as carnivorous choices to suite both me and my husband. First off our server Shea deserves extra recognition. She is kind and attentive but not pushy. A fabulous server offering suggestions and when my husband couldn't decide what condiments he wanted she brought him a "surprise variety" where she basically brought some of everything he had considered. She was on the spot for coffee and water refills. Super friendly, too. The food was fresh and delicious! Flavorful and not greasy or overly salted. I ate here with a dear friend a while back and I really love it! First off I loved how laid-back the ambience was. It was just a very relaxing place to go and have brunch. The food was really tasty and it came out in a timely manner. I loved our server. Snooze on Grant is a vibrant, kitchy breakfast "cafe" with creative dishes that are a great bargain. Today, 03/2426, the team at Snooze on Grant was an abject failure on the service side. It all began with a young man handling the seating of guests. He is ill-trained, oddly snarky, sashaying as he led guests to where he wanted them to be located after an almost 10 minute wait inside the door. This attitude mirrored what was yet to come. We requested on the four booths and was met with resistance. 3 of the 4 booths were open and available had water glasses (empty) on them.....literally 1 or 2 glasses per open table. I asked why. Couldn't just sit in one of the open booths, and he said because they need to be cleaned. Instead of just grabbing towel, picking up two glasses, wiping it down WHILE WE SAT DOWN(!), he stated that we needed to follow him back to the front doors until cleaning was performed! What? One of the other guys literally performed it in about 10 seconds, (after standing in the middle of the interior portion of the restaurant for about 10 minutes) once they decided to grace our presence and perform the simple act of picking up the glasses, a swiping the table, which appeared very clean prior! About another 15 minutes later another guy came to the table to bring 3 set-ups (fork/knife/spoon/napkin), he appeared to be the Team Leader, and let us know a waitress would be by "soon". As he turned another male asked him if he would like him to handle our table (it wasn't crowded at all, there was a "group" of people in the back, 6 or 8 max) the team leader refused his offer. So we waited again.....then the same employee who wanted to assist just came over and politely stated he will handle our table, took our drink orders, came back in timely manner with the drinks and took our orders. Food, as always for us when coming to Snooze, wherever their location, was perfect!!!! But(!), it must have been at least another 20 minutes before our food arrived! A poor reason was "the party in tented area". Again, not crowded, not big group in tented area. The saving grace for Snooze is our waiter. He was trying to display some organizational skills, while remaining pleasant and kind, in the midst of a very dysfunctional crew. Bar maid didn't lift a finger to assist when bar area was empty, and it only had one patron the entire time we were there. The tragedy here; a senior citizen couple who patiently listened to all the excuses....but NEVER were served!!! They tried to flag someone down but received no attention!! They stood up as we were finished with our breakfast, waited 5 minutes then finally resided themselves to walking out the. The only thing they received was two glasses of water. Young Mr Sashaying Attitude guy needs to be allowed to seek his fortunes elsewhere, you can't change whats going on with him. Whoever the Leader of this crew is, he needs more organizational training on assignments, assessment of positions, and decisions to fix what isn't working. Although the food was absolutely amazing, the time from order to food on table, was too long. Waaaayyy too long. We LOVE SNOOZE! But not today at the Grant Location. Your Oracle Rd @ Ina location, and the San Diego Hillcrest location are what Snooze is; and thats amazing food, great service, excellent staff. I ate here with a friend, and it was a positive experience! We ordered Shrimp & Grits and the Habanero Pork Belly, with Bread Pudding French Toast for dessert. It was so well-done, and melted in your mouth- that's actually what I said when I got a taste of the pork belly. I'd try it again, for sure. Went during a slow time and was seated immediately. Host was friendly. Seated at a table with dirty seats. Food took a long time to come out and was mediocre at best, especially given the cost. Coffee refills were very slow and the service not intuitive on that at all. Definitely nothing special with the food. Would think twice before returning. After the last 7 times of coming here experiencing horrible service, I'm writing the review. This used to be my favorite brunch spot in Tucson when they first opened, but it's gone so down hill it's not even funny. Not sure who owns this place but I'm writing to help and make you aware that the staffing at this location is horrendous. Slow, wrong orders, forgets things, and never fails to take at least 20 minutes to just get some water once sitting down. It's the same service every time, slow and they quite literally all act stoned. Restaff and get more involved or this place is going to shut down. Waiter asked if we had any food allergies , and I let him know I have issues with gluten. I Ordered the crab Benedict (which comes with breadcrumbs and a sliced brioche base). They were great!!!! They omitted the breadcrumbs and the brioche base due to my issues with gluten without having to ask :) They have a shaded semi inclosed patio which was nice!! This place, like its name, was a snooze. I had the Denver omelette which was bland and flat. I literally had to put the Serrano hot sauce on everything to taste a flavor. Hash browns were dry n also bland (again Serrano sauce) .... Just because you make them in a cookie cutter circle doesn't make them good. I was less than impressed with this place. Service was eh, they seem to enjoy socializing with themselves and not being friendly to customers. Overpriced items with frou frou names. Thank God I asked for herb cream cheese for my dry bread. Just had our first trip here and had a great experience. The service was excellent. The manager over heard that it was our first time there and treated us to a complimentary strawberry pancake. And which was the best pancake I've ever had by the way. Seriously, no joke. The food was delicious. I had the scrambled eggs with hash browns and they were great. The mock tails are really good as well as the immunity drink. Had their bacon shareable as well. Loved it. It was thick and had a delicious glaze on it. I live close to a Snooze so I'm often there. It's a little bit of a generic establishment, because it's a chain, but I really like it. The food has always been excellent, they have your typical breakfast/brunch fare, egg, dishes, French toast, pancakes, etc. I've had both sweet and savory dishes there and they've all been great! I think the ambiance is great too. It's very brightly lit, there's an outside patio area that's also covered so it stays cooler in the summer months. I've always had really great service too, never any reason to complain. Even when they're really busy, we've never had issues with our food or drinks taking too long. read more

Be careful if you order deliver through their app and it doesn't arrive, the restaurant won't help you even though you don't know who delivered it because it is all controlled by the app. Oh and they don't give you a way to report it or check with driver or anything. They offer it, control it, and then it is on you if they don't come through. Not a fan. It seems really manipulative to provide a services but no way to give a review on their app or anything. the food and service was decent enough, though busy. i ordered the strawberry shortcake pancakes, a side of bacon, a cup of coffee and a water. but the pricing is a bit much. it was $6 for the bacon as it doesn't come with it. total with the tip was $30 for one person. while not bad, there are better and cheaper places to eat around town. This is a great place for breakfast or brunch. This place was recommended as a place to try and I must say that I am glad that I listened. I immediately loved the decor and feel of Snooze once I walked in. The decor reminded me of the cartoon The Jetsons. It was fun and colorful! The menu offers a variety of items for everyone's taste buds. From eggs Benedict, pancake specials, breakfast tacos and specialized breakfast drinks. I ordered the corned beef hash meal, which I saw another Yelper recommend. It was more than expected. The meal included pieces of corned beef instead of what you see in the canned form. I enjoyed every bite of the meal. The customer service was superb! My group and I were greeted upon our entry into Snooze and all of the waiters were encountered displayed positive energy. It was a great first experience. I wish there were more of this restaurant on the east coast. read more

I was very disappointed with this breakfast restaurant. The experience was disappointing with poor service provided by this caliber of restaurant. The French Toast was good but it was diminished by the whole overall experience. Coffee was served cold and the refills where difficult to obtain. This big city chain restaurant from Phonex is just not a good value. Baja Cafe is similar with unique sweet options, better service and more affordable. I probably won't be back to this restaurant since it was such an unpleasant dining experience. read more

My goodness... this place has delicious food. I can't attest to what it's like in person because I ordered it on DoorDash. What I can say is that the French toast with strawberries and coconut? Delicious. The spicy pork belly? Yummy. The pumpkin spice latte? Soooo good. So good in fact, I got it again the next morning. It's a little on the pricier side, but that may just be because I ordered it. Incase you're wondering or ate here on a short trip to Tucson like I did, they do indeed have other locations in different parts of Arizona. All in all, 10/10 recommend. read more

Snooze is the best. Their pancakes are light, fluffy, buttery and tasty sweet. My favorite so far are the strawberry shortcake pancakes, second are the pineapple upside down. If you're vegan, Snooze's vegan pancakes are pretty good too. It's great that you can get a pancake flight and get a taste of three different kind of pancakes, very convenient. I noticed there was a bacon flight as well, but I'm not a fan of sweet flavored bacon, so I stuck to the habanero bacon. The pieces were almost pork belly thick, which was a welcome surprise. Some bites were slightly spicy and others were super charged, smokey, hot. I saved a couple of pieces to bring home for an amped up BLT. Their hot chocolate is almost a meal. Delicious but very sweet. I couldn't drink it all for fear it would take up room that's specifically for the pancakes. I'm a little bit picky about my corned beef hash and am still chasing the dream of finding the perfect corned beef breakfast. Snooze's version is good, but it wasn't what I'd hoped it to be. It was a little dry and a bland. I'll stick to the pancakes. read more
