Good burgers and shakes. Skip the fries, they weren't great. Service fast, open during COVID. burgers were really, really good.

On the way back home from Skiing we stopped by for a quick rest stop. We found the best heart-stopping food up here. Funny, we spend hundred on the fancy restaurants up in Ketchum but we end up raving about the "Snow Bunny" Drive-in. Great shakes but even better was the Wrangler burger! My brother had a Powder Pig (whatever that is) and he said it might have been the best burger he's ever had. The place could be cleaned a bit more and the bathrooms were definitely over due for their scheduled cleaning. The help was actually very good considering they were all under 20. The food is okay. But the environment is dirty and greasy. The staff is inconsiderate and I heard the employees talking about some mold on the walls? The bathroom is also disgusting. I wouldn't be surprised if it hasn't been cleaned in years. Also, make your milkshakes smoother. I hate waiting for my shake to melt because it's too thick. read more

What a joke! The name says drive in, yet they don't even have a speaker??? So you order at a window and wait for your food? So once you get to the window there's a sign that they don't even sell burgers through the drive thru! But you don't know it til you've already waited in line forever! Before we ordered, an Idaho sanitary trainer who happened to be waiting for her order, reprimanded a pimply teeanger for running his hands through his hair and going back to work behind the grill. So we hoped that we didn't get sick from this experience. We got the bacon cheese burger, mushroom burger, fries, and a starwberry malt which were all pretty good. Skip the fry dipping sauce-muted thousand island dressing not worth the calories. If you don't mind no hairnets, aprons, or gloves and pimply teenagers, the burgers are worth a visit. read more

I'd heard this was a good place to try in the Sun Valley area, so when my husband and I were on our way back from a trek to Craters of the Moon National Monument, we decided it was as good a time as any to stop. I found their hamburger to be very good to very very good (sorry...not excellent) and their fries were above average. It really is a hole-in-the-wall...so don't go here for atmosphere. read more

The only reason I ate there is because it's 1 block from where I live and got such good reviews. I love a good hamburger and theirs isn't bad. I always wash my hands before I eat and the bathroom was filthy. You can always judge a restaurant by the cleanliness of the bathroom. As I waited for my order which took 18 minutes to make a burger and fries, I sat & watched the help running their fingers thru their hair & became anxious wondering how clean the food would be. This used to be one of our favorite places... burgers, fries, onion rings, shakes, etc. but it's suddenly going downhill fast. Last night was no exception. We placed our order with a presumably new girl who couldn't enter our order correctly to save her life. She had to ask for help 3 or 4 times from another girl, who seemed really bothered to be there and wasn't really helping her at all. When they finally brought the order to the table, they forgot a milkshake. I waited a few minutes thinking they would bring it but they didn't. I went to the counter and waited for the new girl (who obviously needed help) to finish screwing up two more orders. Meanwhile as I waited, Miss "I don't want to be here" was busy behind the counter counting out everyone's tips while ignoring me and everyone else. Finally, a guy yelled at me from behind the grill area and asked what I needed. I yelled back (because he couldn't be bothered to actually wrest himself from behind the grill area to walk up to the counter and speak to me like a paying customer) that I was waiting on a shake. Finally, he pulled himself away from the griddle long enough to grab my now melted shake from off the counter beside the new girl and hand it to me... without apology. All the while, the other girl continued counting out tips. As all this transpired, nearly every table in the place was dirty and the floor was disgusting. On the way out the door, my wife stopped at the counter as Grillmaster stood there. As she tried to voice her concerns to him he snorted, laughed and walked back to the grill. Snow Bunny may have been around for a long time, but I'm not sure how much longer they'll be around with this type of customer service and basic lack of cleanliness. read more

The wrangler and original hamburger had just the right amount of sauce and was cooked to perfection! Delicious vanilla shake with butterfinger candy mixed in! We would definitely recommend this drive-in since it is fast and accurate for four of us. read more

This place should branch out into a franchise, Please!! One of my favorite places to eat in the entire country. And the names and combinations of burgers, OMgosh. My favorites are the Road Kill and the the Rug Burn. What!? A Cajun sausage and a hamburger together on the same bun, you have got to be kidding me. Did I just win the lottery? Best Onion Rings and Tater Tots I have ever had, too. One can't eat there without getting a milkshake, or I prefer a malt, even if it's 20 degrees outside and snowing. Not the best place in town for a burger (Powerhouse), but the best place for a greasy burger! I can't really recommend eating in as the building is a bit ramshackle and not the cleanest. The turkey burgers are pretty darn good. I've had better greasy burgers, but not in the Wood River Valley. read more

Ahhhh, The Snow Bunny! It's a total Hailey icon that I hope never goes out of business. This little dive has some of the best burgers and shakes I have ever had. I grew up having the occasional meal or shake from this place and whenever I come back to visit, we ALWAYS have to hit up "The Bunny." I would encourage everyone to stop by The Bunny if they are in town. Yes, this place is a DIVE - it's not the prettiest, it's not the cleanest, it's always run by a bunch of moody high school kids (and actually, many times the owners themselves will be running the register or line), BUT you will not be disappointed in the food. Make sure you get one of their homemade shakes - don't be afraid to customize a flavor! Mint Oreo, orange marshmallow, chocolate peanut butter...yum! And be sure to try their homemade onion rings and homemade fry sauce. I have not found a better fry sauce out there than The Bunny's! read more

If you're looking for great burgers, fries, shakes, cheesesticks, hotdogs, tater tots, and anything else this place serves you will not be disappointed! I will warn you that there is always high traffic in there around 12 - 2! read more
