I believe this was my first time trying a bingsu so I don't really have anything to compare to. I thought the portion was very generous. It was huge so I recommend you share with at least one other person. Mango tasted fresh and it was perfect for a hot Tucson summer day. I thought the service was a little off. There were two people working but I didn't feel so welcomed when I walked in.

So happy this place opened! Great dessert spot for friends and family, it's made just like in South Korea, I tried the strawberry one, it was delicious. Excited to try the others my next visit. The employee said the mango was their most popular!

The shaved ice was great! Service was fast and friendly and plenty of seating inside. Nice and cool on a hot day! My only critique is I wish they had different sizes. It's one size one price and it's a huge serving so would be hard to eat the whole thing if you're alone, luckily I had a friend with and we shared the mango. It would have been nice to get two smaller sizes with different flavors to try more than one. Otherwise the mango was so good! Will definitely be back

So yummy!! The inside is super cute and the workers are all so friendly. Really excited they opened this shop, will definitely be trying the other flavors in the future!

Authentic Korean ice cream! Definitely big enough to share. We ordered the matcha flavor, with the condensed milk on the side, to control the sweetness. Also ordered hot tea which was delicious. The staff was super nice.

I was looking on Yelp for a place to have dessert and came across Snowdrop, which appears to be recently opened. My mom had never had Korean shaved ice, and I was immediately craving it, so we coordinated with some friends and met them there. There are many options, and very generous portions. We shared the Misugaru, which was sweet and nutty and came topped with red bean paste and almonds. The texture of the shaved ice was exactly like snow! I also tasted our friends mango bowl and an Oreo bowl, as well (that chocolate shaved ice was great!). The staff was friendly, and the spot was quiet with plenty of seating for our gathering. Highly recommend this spot!

I ventured into this new spot after a long day because I was craving something sweet, and it was a treat! The interior is clean and comfortable, and the menu is easy to understand. Plus, the employees were very helpful answering a few questions I had. I love matcha, so I immediately ordered the matcha with red bean paste. When they brought it to me, I was shocked at the size of the portion! Be aware every bowl is really meant to be shared and they only have one size. I asked for a to-go and they said they didn't offer it but, I was able to get a plastic cup and take it with me. The shaved ice texture and flavor were so outstanding and delicious! It was ice but, it melted in my mouth and was cold, creamy ice cream. Plus, the red bean paste, almonds, and mochi were fresh and delicious! They offer a lot of choices for your bowl including mango, Oreo, strawberry cheesecake, and coffee caramel! Even though it is a little pricer than other spots they offer a great, (large) unique, shaved ice treat! Check them out! They also have both coffee and tea choices.

I have enjoyed Korean snow in my hometown of Cerritos. As soon as I learned snow dropped open in Tucson I convinced my husband to go and get some dessert after having a wonderful dinner next-door. This modest little café spot has tables and booth seating and serves coffee, tea and Korean specialty tea in addition to about six flavors of snow desserts. One order easily could feed three or four people. The flavor you choose is layered in a big bowl then toppings are put upon it then more snow is placed on top and then a final topping layer of the flavor of your choice. I've twice tried the strawberry but next time I'll probably order mango. They also appear to have lotus cookie flavor, but I didn't recognize the flavor. They call it coffee with the lotus cookies on top. What makes this Korean snow dessert so wonderful is that it's light and filling without being too sugary sweet and my mom and sister are sensitive to dairy and it doesn't cause any congestion or affects that an ice cream might. With it being so hard to sign lately. It's a wonderful place to just go and relax and have a sweet treat.

If you like Oreo cookies, then you will love this Oreo Bingsu. Lots of crumbled Oreo on top and in the middle. The snow was soft and refreshing. My friend ate most of cookie and I ate the snow. Service was nice. The place was clean.

Absolutely the most delicious dessert I've had! I recently came here when they had their re opening after being temporarily closed for some time and so impressed with the food and the service. My husband and I tried the mango bingsu, yuzu citron tea and the strawberry cheesecake bingsu and was so impressed! I will say it's a really big portion for one person and can easily be shared with 4 people. The restaurant was clean, staff was friendly and we will definetely be coming back. SO GOOD 10/10

Super cute and unique place! The girls behind the counter are really sweet. We got the strawberry cheesecake bowl with mochi instead of cheesecake and it was delicious!

What a cool spot; literally and figuratively! This cute little dessert shop serves up delectable treats that tickle the tastebuds! I shared the Mango Bingsu with my fiancé and we were over the moon from the unique and flavorful dish that had a surprising perfect sweetness. Can't wait to go back!

My fiancé and I stopped in for an afternoon treat and it was the perfect option to get out of the heat and cool off! We tried mango! It was a huge serving and easily could have shared with 3 people. The mango was the perfect balance of creamy, sweet, and refreshing. They did a great job of it not being too sweet. My only complaint here is that there are not size options. I would be hesitant to ever come here alone knowing I could not eat the full portion and it would not save very well. Hopefully this is something they can add to the menu in the future.

Our favorites were the kalbi ribs, bulgogi, and spicy pork belly. We also grilled veggies. They have great banchan (small side dishes) that are refilled at request. We love the kimchi, fish cake, Tteokbokki, japchae (glass noodle), salad, pickled cucumbers in chili sauce were all delicious! For some reason they give you a seasoned salt and sriracha for dipping. You have to request ssamjang (korean bean paste mixed with gochjang (mild sweet chili paste) and other seasonings, which is a standard dip at KBBQs. Be sure to ask! The ingredients are fresh, and meat cuts are quality. Price for all you can eat is very reasonable. The doenjang-jjigae (fermented bean stew) and steamed egg are our favorites! You have to order these, they don't automatically serve. Service is friendly and great!

I was a bit excited to try this. However, I understand now why it's the "best of Tucson". It's because it's literally the ONLY kbbq spot in Tucson. So extremely low bar. I have no idea how this place has so many positive reviews. I was not impressed for the amount of money. 40$/person is insane. I don't understand the menu at all. Why is it 40 for standard but if you want the good meet it jumps 10$ per person? I have never been to a kbbq like that. Let's start the review. -jap Chae was overcooked and way too much sesame oil -fish cakes were too sweet -kimchi was too bitter -corn cheese had too much cream or something. It tastes like a paste. -Ssamjang is extremely weird. It was liquidy. Ssamjang is not supposed to be liquid like since it is a fermented soy PASTE. It was not the right color and did not taste like Ssamjang. Ssamjang is usually a deeper color like a burnt sienna than whatever orange thing they gave me. -grill temp was all over the place -portion sizes were not good Full disclosure. I am Korean. I grew up eating Korean food and being surrounded by Korean culture. The japchae had too much sesame oil. If I can distinctly taste the sesame oil there's way too much. The fish cakes had too much sugar. The portion sizes I thought were small for kbbq. Maybe get two servings out of one order. Also when the grill was initially turned on, it was so hot that our first round of meat pretty much instantly burned due to temperature and the meats were thin. Thank goodness the staff didn't charge us for the left over burnt meat. I'm serious it was CRUNCHY. Also personal take here. At this restaurant I didn't see any Asians on the staff. At kbbq usually you see Asians or Koreans working. I saw no Asians working. So I thought to myself if a Korean speaking person came here the would be in trouble unless the knew English very well. I'm a little concerned about if the owner is even Korean? You might not think it matters but it does. They know how Korean food is supposed to be. Some good things. The galbi wasn't bad. It was the short rib with bone which isn't my preferred form of galbi but it was still good and not too sweet. The pop corn chicken was so good. They give a chunk of beef fat to grease the grill in the beginning which I appreciated. Strip loin was good. Although it was basically a chunk of meat you toss on the grill and cut yourself with scissors. The spicy pickled cucumbers weren't bad and tasted normal. That's about it though. I would never come back here due to the price absolutely not equating to the quality. The staff very nice. But not nice enough to save the food. This place I would expect more 20-25$/person than anything. Not 40$! If the kbbq place absolutely was redone different story.

So when I saw a review for Wings & Rice, I did what any curious foodie would do I drove over an hour and a half to try it for myself. This time, the TikTok hype was 100% worth it. The wings were cooked to perfection crispy, flavorful, and juicy. I ordered the Spicy Teriyaki and Garlic Parmesan, and both were absolutely amazing. The flavors were bold without being overwhelming, and every bite had me wanting more. I also ordered the Hibachi Chicken Fried Rice, and it did not disappoint. The portion was generous, the chicken was tender, and the rice was packed with flavor. What really completed the experience was the customer service. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made me feel appreciated as a customer. The location is a little tucked away in Tucson and definitely not somewhere I would have stumbled upon on my own, but it's a hidden gem that's worth the drive. I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu. This is one food review I'm glad I followed. If you're on the fence, go you won't regret it!
