Our family went to Snowdrop after being out in the Tucson heat and found a cool reprieve and some delicious treats. The four of us ordered a mango and red bean shaved snow. We loved that the snow is flavored and they layer the toppings in the middle and on top so you get toppings throughout the entire bowl. The bowls were sweet but not overly sweet. The varying toppings offered nice textual contrasts. There is plenty of seating inside and the staff was helpful. We're excited to come back and try the other flavors. read more

I believe this was my first time trying a bingsu so I don't really have anything to compare to. I thought the portion was very generous. It was huge so I recommend you share with at least one other person. Mango tasted fresh and it was perfect for a hot Tucson summer day. I thought the service was a little off. The shaved ice was great! Service was fast and friendly and plenty of seating inside. Nice and cool on a hot day! My only critique is I wish they had different sizes. It's one size one price and it's a huge serving so would be hard to eat the whole thing if you're alone, luckily I had a friend with and we shared the mango. It would have been nice to get two smaller sizes with different flavors to try more than one. Otherwise the mango was so good! Will definitely be back read more

If you like Oreo cookies, then you will love this Oreo Bingsu. Lots of crumbled Oreo on top and in the middle. The snow was soft and refreshing. My friend ate most of cookie and I ate the snow. Service was nice. The place was clean. read more

Absolutely the most delicious dessert I've had! I recently came here when they had their re opening after being temporarily closed for some time and so impressed with the food and the service. My husband and I tried the mango bingsu, yuzu citron tea and the strawberry cheesecake bingsu and was so impressed! I will say it's a really big portion for one person and can easily be shared with 4 people. The restaurant was clean, staff was friendly and we will definetely be coming back. I was looking on Yelp for a place to have dessert and came across Snowdrop, which appears to be recently opened. My mom had never had Korean shaved ice, and I was immediately craving it, so we coordinated with some friends and met them there. There are many options, and very generous portions. We shared the Misugaru, which was sweet and nutty and came topped with red bean paste and almonds. The texture of the shaved ice was exactly like snow! I also tasted our friends mango bowl and an Oreo bowl, as well (that chocolate shaved ice was great!). The staff was friendly, and the spot was quiet with plenty of seating for our gathering. I ventured into this new spot after a long day because I was craving something sweet, and it was a treat! The interior is clean and comfortable, and the menu is easy to understand. Plus, the employees were very helpful answering a few questions I had. I love matcha, so I immediately ordered the matcha with red bean paste. When they brought it to me, I was shocked at the size of the portion! Be aware every bowl is really meant to be shared and they only have one size. I asked for a to-go and they said they didn't offer it but, I was able to get a plastic cup and take it with me. The shaved ice texture and flavor were so outstanding and delicious! It was ice but, it melted in my mouth and was cold, creamy ice cream. Plus, the red bean paste, almonds, and mochi were fresh and delicious! They offer a lot of choices for your bowl including mango, Oreo, strawberry cheesecake, and coffee caramel! My fiancé and I stopped in for an afternoon treat and it was the perfect option to get out of the heat and cool off! We tried mango! It was a huge serving and easily could have shared with 3 people. The mango was the perfect balance of creamy, sweet, and refreshing. They did a great job of it not being too sweet. My only complaint here is that there are not size options. I would be hesitant to ever come here alone knowing I could not eat the full portion and it would not save very well. Hopefully this is something they can add to the menu in the future. read more

So excited for this new spot to open up since we're in walking distance. Right away you get the vibe that this is intended to be a cool hangout with lots of ample seating and modern decor. We ordered the strawberry and the mango and we're not disappointed by the portions. You can easily share one of these between four people! The shaved ice was delicious, I loved how cold it was. The strawberries tasted great. I I could have had more condensed milk online, but generally it was very well received. We had a issue with our mango snow; The mangoes on top were mostly under ripe. When I voiced the concern to the the server, he was very gracious and tried hard to remedy it. He even offered us a refund if we weren't pleased. He ended up getting some better pieces of mango, but I will say todd if I were to order that flavor again, I would need to see a big improvement in the quality of the fruit. So happy that Snowdrop is finally open - I frequent the sushi place next door and love that dessert is now just one door away! I treated myself to the Coffee Caramel Bingsu (Korean Shaved Ice) and it was absolutely delicious! The crushed toffee and crushed Lotus Biscoff paired perfectly with the coffee milk base, giving it the right mix of sweet, crunchy, and creamy. Portion sizes were generous, making it perfect for sharing (or not). The space itself is tastefully decorated and has such a welcoming vibe. What really stood out was the owner, who came out to the dining area to check in on everyone and make sure everything was just right - such a thoughtful touch. Located behind Dougbird on Campbell. It's very minimalist in its decor. There were limited bingsu flavors , but what they had was good. It does take time to make the bingsu so be patient. We shared the mango and misugaru and they were pretty large and meant to be shared. They were both really good, the shaved ice was light and fluffy and not too sweet. Someone did order the matcha, but it's definitely more earthy. It's still new so I hope more people come in to try it! read more

So delicious! This bowl was shared between three adults and was so good. I wish I would have gotten a photo of the snow underneath it to show how soft and fluffy it was. It's not like snow cone or regular shaved ice, it's very thin and airy which was perfect for a refreshing treat. The best bingsoo is determined by the quality of the shaved ice. The shaved ice here is fluffy, soft, like ingesting a cloud. The misugaru bingsoo is not too sweet with multiple layers of fillings. Highly recommended! read more

This place is SO CUTE. I have been here twice now and have tried 3 different flavors of the shaved ice they offer and have to recommend the Mango shaved ice. The only thing I am disappointed about is the wait time. Both times coming in I've had to wait over 30 minutes without the store being extremely busy. It's finals season, and My friend Krystal, and I decided to pick a nice café to work on our final report here. This Korean café offers great aesthetics, comfortable seating, and a menu that makes you want to try everything on it. We both got a drink and decided to also get their Matcha shaved ice. Went here a few weeks ago, SUPER GOOD. The ambiance is nice , and the korean ice is to die for. The owner or he seemed to be went up to each table asking if the food was good and if we were doing ok. Decades ago, Eegee's used to be one of my go-to spots. Over the years, however, the sandwiches became dry and started tasting like mostly bread. Slice and Ice did not disappoint. Their Italian three-meat and cheese hero was delicious. The sandwich was not dry at all, and you could really taste the meats and fillings. It paired perfectly with their fries dipped in the ranch sauce. I honestly cannot think of another combination that goes together so well. Service was friendly and fast. I hope this place becomes my new go-to spot, just like Eegee's was for me years ago.

From a work space perspective, there are plenty of tables and accessible outlets so that was a plus. I also love the grocery area. They have some items here that you can't find anywhere else in town, such as specialty chocolates and certain brands and flavors of ice cream. They also have some basics like produce and meat. It's worth a visit and you can walk to it from both the 4th avenue area as well as the main gate area.
