My mom had never had Korean shaved ice, and I was immediately craving it, so we coordinated with some friends and met them there. There are many options, and very generous portions. We shared the Misugaru, which was sweet and nutty and came topped with red bean paste and almonds. The texture of the shaved ice was exactly like snow! I also tasted our friends mango bowl and an Oreo bowl, as well (that chocolate shaved ice was great!). The staff was friendly, and the spot was quiet with plenty of seating for our gathering. I ventured into this new spot after a long day because I was craving something sweet, and it was a treat! The interior is clean and comfortable, and the menu is easy to understand. Plus, the employees were very helpful answering a few questions I had. I love matcha, so I immediately ordered the matcha with red bean paste. When they brought it to me, I was shocked at the size of the portion! Be aware every bowl is really meant to be shared and they only have one size. I asked for a to-go and they said they didn't offer it but, I was able to get a plastic cup and take it with me. The shaved ice texture and flavor were so outstanding and delicious! It was ice but, it melted in my mouth and was cold, creamy ice cream. Plus, the red bean paste, almonds, and mochi were fresh and delicious! They offer a lot of choices for your bowl including mango, Oreo, strawberry cheesecake, and coffee caramel! So delicious! This bowl was shared between three adults and was so good. I wish I would have gotten a photo of the snow underneath it to show how soft and fluffy it was. It's not like snow cone or regular shaved ice, it's very thin and airy which was perfect for a refreshing treat. Located behind Dougbird on Campbell. It's very minimalist in its decor. There were limited bingsu flavors , but what they had was good. It does take time to make the bingsu so be patient. We shared the mango and misugaru and they were pretty large and meant to be shared. They were both really good, the shaved ice was light and fluffy and not too sweet. Someone did order the matcha, but it's definitely more earthy. It's still new so I hope more people come in to try it! read more

The crushed toffee and crushed Lotus Biscoff paired perfectly with the coffee milk base, giving it the right mix of sweet, crunchy, and creamy. This very new addition to the dessert establishments is quite novel and offers delicious Korean treats. It's quite modern inside with a sleek decor and very clean. The menu is limited and only a few different flavors of bingsu, a shaved ice dessert. This version is much different from what I had in Seoul in the 1980's, modernized but very tasty. They only have one size bowl currently and it's fairly large. I had the matcha and my son had the mitsugaru. We enjoyed them both. Service was quick and friendly. If you're looking for an alternative to ice cream or gelato, I recommend you check it out. (Some other customers also recommended the coffee but I didn't try that) read more

The pink suit was delicious with many food options that I really did enjoy however a large scoop of cheap ice cream on top really detracted from the food. The Shaved Ice (Bingsu) was great, loved the little mochi pieces on top, and the drinks were very good. We got the Matcha, Coffee Carmel, and Oreo ones and they were all awesome. The Korean shaved ice is really nice cause it's kind of soft and smooth as opposed to other shaved ice/snow places. We also tried the Ume plum tea and it was so good. We got a hot and a cold one and it was very refreshing. They also had several other flavors like orange hallabong, honey yuzu, ginger and honey, jujube, and another I can't remember. The inside was clean, modern, and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. They had some music playing a very nice level in the background. I also loved the little wood trays the order was served on.
