Snowl is short for Snow Bowl. Came here Sunday evening and it was completely packed. It is spacious and seats many people. The main attention here is a shaved milk bowl with flavors of your option. There are many varieties of snowls. They also offer some spicy ricecakes, taiyaki and teas. My group got the strawberry snowl. It came with a mochi ice cream topping, sliced strawberries, popping boba and strawberry syrup. The bowl was extremely sweet and the four of us could not finish it. The snowl itself was quite large, but if it was less sweet, I think we could have finished it. The shopping mall has some parking but it can get filled pretty quickly. I imagine a lot of the spots get taken by the employees early in the day. We were able to find parking on the street nearby.
Snowl is a cute little spot and I've been coming here for years when I want dessert whenever I'm in the area. It's super easy to order you just go to one of the kiosks and pay there and when your order is ready they'll call your number. I usually like to get the fruit shaved ice but this time we got the sweet potato one and I actually really liked it and it's perfect for fall. They have large chunks of cheesecake that are really rich and like a sweet potato sauce or puree. Can't wait to come back and have it again.
Snowl has become a go-to place for us. It has delicious treats and dairy-free drinks! Our favorites are the Ube Matcha and Ube Brown Sugar. The Taiyaki is also delicious. We love this place and the waits are never too crazy. Also available to order online! And once inside you order at kiosks!
As someone who grew up eating soft serve and thinking it was amazing, I kind of want to go back in time and tell my younger self that believe it or not, something exists that's better than soft serve and it's called a snow bowl (bingsu). Man, what an unbelievably tasty treat. Ordering is simple - step up to the kiosk, choose what you want, choose to pay at the kiosk or at the window, then just wait for your order to be called. Honestly the waiting is the worst part because once you start eating bingsu time stops so you can adequately enjoy it. Ours had grapes, strawberries, and banana slices on it and some strawberry in the center as well, so despite being full of condensed milk I can tell myself I at least ate some fruit.
We came here for dessert and chose the strawberry snowl. It was too sweet for my taste. It came with mochi ice cream, popping boba, and a lot of strawberry syrup. The portion was quite large though and it was plenty for my group of 4. Service was quite slow as we waited about 20 minutes for our order. Parking was also tough in the busy plaza, but my group eventually found street parking nearby.
We love having Snowl in our neighborhood. As far as places to go in the Denver metro area for "shave or shaved ice" we don't have many choices. Snowl is a fun place to enjoy a large bowl, big enough for 3 people. We haven't done it yet but they have cornhole as well as board games you can play while enjoying your dessert.
It was what happened when we got summer like weather in March. The Snowl on Havana was jam packed with a long queue for ordering. Here were their famed giant Mango Snowl bowl and the Red Bean Taikayi with soft serve Matcha ice cream. Needless to say, these were very tasty and satisfying as usual.
The reason why I'm giving this a 2 star is due to the cost and poor service. I had won (2) $10 gift cards to here so decided to take my daughter here to check it out. My daughter just wanted an ice cream cup with strawberries and I went to order the strawberry croffle. The lady told me they don't have strawberries to top on ice cream. I asked her if they were out because I was going to order the strawberry croffle and she told me that they have them for the croffle but they don't use them as a topping for their ice cream. I couldn't even pay more to have it added. It felt like poor customer service and didn't make a lot of sense. Instead we just got her fruity pebbles as a topping. I go check out and once the transaction was completed, I looked at the receipt and noticed that they were only giving me $18.52 credit out of $20 gift cards. I asked the woman why I wasn't getting the full $20 and she said that it takes out tax. I told her that didn't make any sense, as I've never had money taken out of the value of a gift card for tax, especially since you're already paying tax. So you pay tax on the gift card and tax on the purchase? She said that's just how the store does it. I thought it was very scammy and she didn't want to be bothered. The strawberry croffle was good but this place is expensive and screws you out of gift card money for "tax." They also will put strawberries for one item but not for another, even when offering to pay more money. We also grabbed a banana bread pudding to go. The pudding was good but there was too much bread in it. I included a picture of the receipt to show the experience. Overall I wouldn't come back. Poor customer service at its finest.
The atmosphere was very nice. We came here after having dinner by a close by Korean bbq. Snowl offered great vibes and energy for my family to celebrate a birthday. The shaved ice was delicious and came in a huge bowl. I would say 6-8 of us were able to finish it! The portion was massive! The place was very busy and packed. Tons of tables and room to cater to, very clean and modern as well. Will definitely be back.
This place is all about the vibe. The atmosphere is great. It's welcoming and just a fun place to hang out. They even have board games you can rent (free). The food is good. The ice cream and taiyaki are delicious. The boba, on the other hand, is not. The teas/milk teas are good, but the boba is a weird texture with no flavor. Maybe we just got a bad batch, but I wouldn't recommend the drinks. After all, it is a taiyaki place, so maybe I should have gotten that. Service was on the slow side. But then again, it was packed. It's an order from the screen set up. I've always wondered why it asks for tips when literally no one helps you with anything, but hey, that's the future, I guess. I'd come back again for the hangout vibes and taiyaki!
Very cute shop in Aurora. Parking lot is a bit of a mess. The strawberry snow was good but it's on the sweet side. Definitely recommend 3-4 people to share this. It's huge for two people. You order at the machine and it's not a long wait to be called for the item. read more
Snowl has the ambiance that invites friends to gather over a bowl of powder-soft milk ice. It's perfect rain or shine, or snow They have a variety of flavors that appeal to a wide range of palates, from chocolate to fresh fruit (esp mango and strawberry) to matcha and roasted soybean powder (addictive caramel nuttiness). The bowls are generously portioned and one was shared amongst the 4 of us. I love that they don't just load up the top but include filling in the middle (more strawbs puree and sweet condensed milk). This is the only place in Denver that I've tried with the perfect texture of milk ice-- not dense or icy. Each bite melts in your mouth and complements the toppings so well. They've recently started offering some savory options which I've yet to try. I think one fun addition would be to have some board games!! read more

Hot boba is soothing in this cold weather :) My girlfriend and I went here after our dinner to refreshed up our dinner pallet and we came across this cool looking boba shop. The ambiance was great and a lot of locals seem to like this place. They have a Christmas tree full of their customers letter, which is funny af cause I saw bunch of sugar daddy/mommy's number haha. Anyways, not to be off topic.. the boba milk tea is solid cause you it is balance with sweetness and you can taste the tea on it. Unlike most of the boba milk tea nowadays that just pure sweet. It is Nicee to see a boba shop still carries the authentic taste of their milk tea. Overall, I would go here again whenever we're in town :) read more
Yummmy!!! Snowl is really cute inside with lots of seating and self order kiosks. The decor is very aesthetic and the menu offers a lot of different things from drinks to ice cream to tteokbokki. We got the sweet potato cheesecake snow because it was a flavor we have never heard of and it was very good! The big was HUGE! Much bigger than we were expecting for the price. The flavor was really good, the flavor of sweet potato is pretty strong. The shaved milk is super fluffy and it paired really well with the condensed milk and sweet potato concoction on top. I will definitely be trying the other flavors in the future. read more
We came on a weekday night after going to the ramen place next door and it was the perfect dessert place. We ordered on the kiosk and got our food super quickly. This place is the perfect place to hang out and chat with friends - they have plenty of tables with good lighting and decor. We got a Taiyaki in a cup swirl with matcha and milk tea soft serve. The soft serve was super sweet and milky like it should be. The taiyaki had just the right amount of chew. I would definitely come back and try some of their bingsu. read more

So I decided to stop by this cute gem nestled away in busy Aurora on Christmas Eve. I'm super glad I did ! What drew me in was the Boba Tea, since I've been on Boba Tea crave train and their cute atmosphere! I've never been into a place like Snowl and I was super impressed. Customer service was bomb and I got all of my questions answered in a flash. I ended up getting a milk tea mocha with coffee jelly which is VERY GOOD. I've never even heard of jelly toppings, but now it's going in my tea when I come back!! I highly recommend this place to all milk tea drinkers! read more
Snowl is absolutely delicious! I have had their snow bowl and taiyaki on a different occasion, but for this particular visit I ordered an iced coffee with coffee jellies and loved it. For anyone curious about the coffee jellies... I definitely think it's a must try! It adds such a great black coffee flavor and I love their chewiness! It makes your drink that much more fun! Snowl is a self service establishment. So, you order all of your own treats and wait for them to call your number! I liked this aspect. It felt very efficient and the wait wasn't long at all. I will always be back to try more at Snowl and if nothing else... the ambiance is magical! read more

Wow! What a find! I love taiyaki and haven't had it yet since moving to Colorado so I was excited to discover this place. We got a Taiyaki ice cream in a cup. You can choose a filling for the Taiyaki and also the ice cream and toppings. We decided to have it plain with swirl ice cream (milk tea and matcha) and some golden puffs for toppings. Overall it was super delicious. The Taiyaki was the perfect texture: chewy, crunchy, tasty and the ice cream was really nice too. The flavor is on the milder side which I thought worked well. The golden puffs were good, we actually thought it was something else when we ordered but liked it anyway. The whole bite just felt complete and you have the varying textures and flavors. Also there are 3 ordering kiosks so it makes ordering super easy. Since we went on a Friday night it was a bit busy so we had to wait for our food for awhile but nothing too crazy. Just good to note I guess it's not really something you can get in like 5 minutes if there are lots of people. Anyway, we enjoyed our food and definitely want to try more things. What a unique frozen dessert option! We were introduced to this spot by friends, and it's a Korean-style ice flakes treat. I wasn't sure what to try at first, but you can't go wrong with the milk snow. They offer a variety of different toppings. It's definitely worth a stop if you're in the area! read more
If I could give this a 6/5 I would. I love snowl and I take all of our visitors here. The shaved ice is phenomenal, the tayaki and fillings are flavorful and crispy, the drinks are great, boba is soft and chewy, and the rice cakes are savory/ sweet/ crunchy/ chewy bits of joy. I have never had anything here I didn't love. My only warning would be the shaved ice bowls are massive and it's hard for even two people to eat. I wish they had mini sizes! We had the black sesame bowl and an order of the tteok kkochi with a Thai tea milk tea this go around and we left stuffed between the two of us. Just get in the car and go already! Super kid friendly too. read more
Okay bingsoo at a high cost - $16 per bowl. It's a big bowl and enough to share with 3-4 people; however, the cost is still high for this. We got green tea snow as it's recommended by many people but it was okay. The shaved ice is strong in flavor but should be a bit finer and softer. There are some pieces on the bottom of the bowl that ball up into ice pieces. It's topped with red beans, thinly sliced almond, one green tea mochi ice cream, and condense milk drizzle. Red beans typically goes well with green tea/matcha, but the red beans here is sooo sweet and it's covered with condensed milk (sweet drizzle), which makes the topping not enjoyable. Mochi ice cream is more for the decoration, it's not high quality mochi ice cream. Overall, the snow itself is okay, the toppings are unnecessary and make it overwhelming. read more
We ordered from the kiosk, the staff was ready to help if needed, we got two different Snow Bowls and they are so LARGE and tasty! My favorite was the Mango Snow. We also got the chocolate taiyaki and rice cake skewers, all good!! It's pretty spacious inside with enough seating for their volume. Will come back to try more. read more
This place has the cutest interior, walk right in and order at an automated screen, then wait for staff to call your number. It took close to 30 minutes to get our order - given there were only two employees and a good 30ish people - it's understandable. There's a reason it's so popular, the treats are delectable. I haven't had I've cream this good in ages, and there's hardly any limit to the toppings and choices. read more

I'm from Cali visiting Denver. This place is great! The taiyaki and soft serve tasted great. Reminded me of somi somi. Got the taro boba and it was delicious. Saw someone order the snow ice (aka bingsu) portioned looked large and very good. Definitely a shareable dish. They had K-pop music playing in the background. Def my kind of spot read more
Snowl is a cute dessert shop. Immediately upon walking through the doorway you look up and see little clouds hanging from fishing line surrounded by very aesthetic lighting. There are no human cashiers anymore, the ordering is done completely through three kiosks. It's fast and simple for a kiosk, one of the better ones I've used. This store is not fully automated, there's still human interactions when they call out your order! They're very nice and straight forward. Highly organized as they know where every order is and they provide excellent estimates for when your baked items will be ready. My friends ordered separately the chocolate and red bean filled taiyaki, fish shaped waffles. They're really hot so don't shove them in your mouth. These take a bit longer to come out than your other desserts as they're made upon order. The outside is crispy and the inside is very soft. The red bean filling is not overly sweet where you get sick of it, it's appropriately sweet. The chocolate filled taiyaki is good to have one or two, but the milk chocolate that is used gets overwhelming quickly. I didn't order the strawberry croquette, but my friend described it as sweet and creamy. Very good overall. The milk tea was quite standard. Good but nothing to literally write home about. We didn't actually order drinks that contain tea I think outside of the green Thai tea. The green Thai tea was very aromatic with herbs. Interesting and good. In the past when I've ordered a tea based drink from here you don't get a strong tea flavor, it's not underwhelming but quite subtle. For some this can be good or bad. The drinks are very basic and done decently. A few years ago the drinks were a 5, but now Denver has a ton of high quality options that this place's drinks don't stand out all too well. I can describe the shaved ice I've had in the past. It's a very light and refreshing treat. It's covered in fruit and condensed milk. Some flavors may have syrup additions on top but this is a relatively light dessert compared to their other offerings. The bowl is huge. The only negative thing I have to really say is that the water cups are very small but at least the water station is free! But when consuming so many sweet things I tend to drink a lot of water. read more

I love snowl! The snow bowls are humongous so I always have to split them, but it always disappears when we're finished. I don't think there's a single bad thing on the menu. I only hope they can do mini snow bowls eventually so I can come by myself. read more
In desperate need of a sweet treat after our meal at Angry Chicken, my husband and I ventured over to Snowl. Having heard good things about this spot, I was anxious to try it! I'll keep this short and sweet! While the entire menu looks and sounds delicious, I was more in the mood for a sweet Boba concoction, as it's been yearrrrssss since I've sipped on Boba! I opted for a small (which ended up being bigger than expected!) chai tea latte with Boba - which was the most delicious thing I had ever tasted! The Boba was fresh, lump and didn't overpower the sweet drink! I happily sipped on that baby all afternoon and find myself craving it often now - and can't wait to go back! Service was quick (order and pay at the kiosk), friendly and COVID safe, while the prices are insanely reasonable! You must go and won't be disappointed! read more
This might be one of my favorite boba hangout spots in Colorado. Not only is the place aesthetic AF, but the variety of drink, snack and dessert options is worth making the trip and staying for. K-pop fans might also appreciate the music playing in the background. For COVID, they've set up touchscreen kiosks (think the fancy McDonald's ones) to order your drink and food. You can even pick your preferences on screen, like half sugar or coffee jelly instead of boba. Just remember to check off "no boba" if you don't want boba; otherwise, you'll get both coffee jelly AND boba like I did. (Honestly can't complain though.) I'd talk about how fluffy and mouth-watering the bowl of snow (omg I think I just realized that's why it's called Snowl???) is, but I really actually genuinely want to talk about the taiyaki here. The ones with the chocolate filling are seriously TO DIE FOR. Red bean and sweet potato are great, too, but HELLO CHOCOLATE TAIYAKIS. They come in a bag of five, so you can chill with your friends and split them stress free. Even though two are probably enough to fill you up, they're THAT good so maybe get an entire bag for yourself later just in case. I don't love an order kiosk, but this was a great little dessert place. Taiyaki were cooked to order and good and hot, but the star was the Nutella Banana Croffle. The topping was so light and fluffy and flavorful! I would definitely order it again! read more
Everything was kind of disappointing. The boba drinks weren't really boba milk tea. The slushie taste like perfume and the strawberry lemonade was carbonated for no reason. As for the snow bowls, they're huge. But only the top was flavorful and sweet. The bottom is just ice. read more

This place is so cute! It definitely had enough for perfect photo oppa! I came here on a Saturday night and it was very busy. I got the red bean taiyaki and the strawberry snow. The red bean taiyaki was super fresh and HOT (eat with caution)!! Super crispy outer edges and sweet red bean filling. I normally would never go for a red bean filled taiyaki because past taiyakis always had too much red bean BUT the one here had a great ratio of breading to filling! The strawberry snow was HUGE. We had 4 people eating from this and still did not finish!! I really liked all the textures that came with this bowl! From jellies to popping bobas to crispy strawberries, it was happiness in my mouth! Definitely would come back to try the other taiyakis and snows! read more

I'm craving this place right now- I wish we had places like this in TN. I loved that everything was high tech, well organized and pretty quick too. There was also hand sanitizer everywhere so that was nice. We were able to order at a kiosk- it was easy to manage along with pictures. I chose the taiyaki with chocolate filing along with matcha ice cream, topped with strawberry wafer and fruity pebbles. We also shared the fruit snow bowl & I love that you can order the taiyaki Togo and it's made fresh. read more
This place is AMAZING! I got the Mango Snow and it was delicious! The snow literally just melts in your mouth right away like A5 waygu. It was just the perfect dessert. It came with the fluffiest snow, fresh mango, mango jelly, mango popping boba, and topped with a mango mochi ice cream. Will definitely go back to try the other flavors. The atmosphere was great. However, there were no enforcement on social distancing and limit capacity. The dining area was crowded and some tables were too close to each other. Hence, I have to give this place 4/5 today. Definitely a 5/5 for the Mango Snow itself. Best snow I have ever tried so far. read more
We were first introduced to Korean shaved ice back in Las Vegas , NV so we have to try and find a place everywhere we go now. Inside was cute and what you can expect; cute decorations for taking selfies and of your food, k-pop music playing, and friendly people! (I asked a person next to us what they were having and they kept offering and insisting we have some of theirs!) When you order you use a kiosk which I think is genius. Service was pretty quick with how busy they were. We got the mango snow which is what we imagined it would taste like. Personally I don't think it needed the popping bobas and anything extra but the snow, condensed milk, and fruit, but it was ok since it was our first go. read more

Snowl is a great dessert place for small groups (2-6 people). It's stylish, has nice variety of desserts, there's always kpop playing, and it's just a nice atmosphere. Most notable things on their menu are boba drinks and slushies, shave ice bowls, and their filled Taiyaki (fish-shaped donuts filled with nutella, sweet red bean paste, and others). This place is often busy, and because of that your order could take up to 20 minutes to be prepared. Just keep that in mind if you're in a rush. Overall, really nice desserts and vibes. read more

A bit overpriced, but worth the experience! I went here recently with a friend and enjoyed everything about this place. From their eclectic decor to their amazing desserts, it was a win! I'm not even a sweets fan, but their green tea ice cream and waffle fish was surely a treat! read more
Forgot what I ordered but remember the drink was not overly sweet and I didn't even ask for less sweetness! The girl who helped me at the register was super friendly and down to earth. I got a couple suggestions but stuck to my original order. I will be back not only because of service but the drink itself was really good and memorable. I just wish I remembered the name! Parking is a bit tight around here so best to come in during off times. Otherwise street parking and a short trek will get you to this shopping strip! read more
