Just stopped in for a lil dessert and a drink. Got a boba and some milk tea ice cream, it was all phenomenal. We both enjoyed it a lot :) the place was real nice too. Great if you need a little spot for social media pics
Snowl is short for Snow Bowl. Came here Sunday evening and it was completely packed. It is spacious and seats many people. The main attention here is a shaved milk bowl with flavors of your option. There are many varieties of snowls. They also offer some spicy ricecakes, taiyaki and teas. My group got the strawberry snowl. It came with a mochi ice cream topping, sliced strawberries, popping boba and strawberry syrup. The bowl was extremely sweet and the four of us could not finish it. The snowl itself was quite large, but if it was less sweet, I think we could have finished it. The shopping mall has some parking but it can get filled pretty quickly. I imagine a lot of the spots get taken by the employees early in the day. We were able to find parking on the street nearby.
Huge shaved ice for $16 but the shaved ice didn't taste milky. And I didn't like that they added so little roasted grain powder
Snowl is a cute little spot and I've been coming here for years when I want dessert whenever I'm in the area. It's super easy to order you just go to one of the kiosks and pay there and when your order is ready they'll call your number. I usually like to get the fruit shaved ice but this time we got the sweet potato one and I actually really liked it and it's perfect for fall. They have large chunks of cheesecake that are really rich and like a sweet potato sauce or puree. Can't wait to come back and have it again.
Snowl has become a go-to place for us. It has delicious treats and dairy-free drinks! Our favorites are the Ube Matcha and Ube Brown Sugar. The Taiyaki is also delicious. We love this place and the waits are never too crazy. Also available to order online! And once inside you order at kiosks!
As someone who grew up eating soft serve and thinking it was amazing, I kind of want to go back in time and tell my younger self that believe it or not, something exists that's better than soft serve and it's called a snow bowl (bingsu). Man, what an unbelievably tasty treat. Ordering is simple - step up to the kiosk, choose what you want, choose to pay at the kiosk or at the window, then just wait for your order to be called. Honestly the waiting is the worst part because once you start eating bingsu time stops so you can adequately enjoy it. Ours had grapes, strawberries, and banana slices on it and some strawberry in the center as well, so despite being full of condensed milk I can tell myself I at least ate some fruit.
We came here for dessert and chose the strawberry snowl. It was too sweet for my taste. It came with mochi ice cream, popping boba, and a lot of strawberry syrup. The portion was quite large though and it was plenty for my group of 4. Service was quite slow as we waited about 20 minutes for our order. Parking was also tough in the busy plaza, but my group eventually found street parking nearby.
Came back to Try the taiyaki- definitely not as good as the shaved ice but still solid - the fish didn't seem very fresh; though the ice cream and cookies were good!
We love having Snowl in our neighborhood. As far as places to go in the Denver metro area for "shave or shaved ice" we don't have many choices. Snowl is a fun place to enjoy a large bowl, big enough for 3 people. We haven't done it yet but they have cornhole as well as board games you can play while enjoying your dessert.

It was what happened when we got summer like weather in March. The Snowl on Havana was jam packed with a long queue for ordering. Here were their famed giant Mango Snowl bowl and the Red Bean Taikayi with soft serve Matcha ice cream. Needless to say, these were very tasty and satisfying as usual.
The reason why I'm giving this a 2 star is due to the cost and poor service. I had won (2) $10 gift cards to here so decided to take my daughter here to check it out. My daughter just wanted an ice cream cup with strawberries and I went to order the strawberry croffle. The lady told me they don't have strawberries to top on ice cream. I asked her if they were out because I was going to order the strawberry croffle and she told me that they have them for the croffle but they don't use them as a topping for their ice cream. I couldn't even pay more to have it added. It felt like poor customer service and didn't make a lot of sense. Instead we just got her fruity pebbles as a topping. I go check out and once the transaction was completed, I looked at the receipt and noticed that they were only giving me $18.52 credit out of $20 gift cards. I asked the woman why I wasn't getting the full $20 and she said that it takes out tax. I told her that didn't make any sense, as I've never had money taken out of the value of a gift card for tax, especially since you're already paying tax. So you pay tax on the gift card and tax on the purchase? She said that's just how the store does it. I thought it was very scammy and she didn't want to be bothered. The strawberry croffle was good but this place is expensive and screws you out of gift card money for "tax." They also will put strawberries for one item but not for another, even when offering to pay more money. We also grabbed a banana bread pudding to go. The pudding was good but there was too much bread in it. I included a picture of the receipt to show the experience. Overall I wouldn't come back. Poor customer service at its finest.

This place was soooo cute. Instagram hot spot for sure. I loved the vibe and that I could order through the screen. The Thai tea had great flavor and was a perfect size. I loved the atmosphere there as well. I would definitely Come back again. read more
A bit overpriced, but worth the experience! I went here recently with a friend and enjoyed everything about this place. From their eclectic decor to their amazing desserts, it was a win! I'm not even a sweets fan, but their green tea ice cream and waffle fish was surely a treat! read more
Forgot what I ordered but remember the drink was not overly sweet and I didn't even ask for less sweetness! The girl who helped me at the register was super friendly and down to earth. I got a couple suggestions but stuck to my original order. I will be back not only because of service but the drink itself was really good and memorable. I just wish I remembered the name! Parking is a bit tight around here so best to come in during off times. Otherwise street parking and a short trek will get you to this shopping strip! read more

Seriously how can anyone not love them?! There are a lot of different flavors of snow ( which is a type of ice cream) I usually get either the strawberry snow or mix fruit snow, I got the mango snow this time. And it did not disappoint! The amount you get is huge and definitely shareable for 3/4 people. I loved the addition of mango popping boba and the mango Mochi ice cream. I love the milk taiyaki ice cream more then the matcha and I love the taiyaki they put in it. They have ALOT of flavors of tea and slushes and etc. Love them love them love them read more

The hubs and I brought our niece for a supersized dessert treat the other weekend. The place was jam packed and we were really lucky to even find a parking space. When you let an 11 year old who loves sugar do the ordering, you are bound to end up with a LOT of sugar. She ordered the strawberry snowl bowl and a strawberry boba. What can I say? She loves strawberry! The hubs and I each ordered a taiyaki ice cream - his with milk tea and mine with green tea. The ice cream wasn't very rich and melted really fast so we had to eat up quick. Our favorite part by far was the taiyaki part and thankfully, we had ordered an additional 5 to go. Our niece consumed those 5 by the end of the night and they were really quite good. Our niece ate about a third of her strawberry snowl bowl which I felt terrible not being able to finish that as I hate wasting food. As we should have known by the size, this is best as a shared dessert. The novelty wore off pretty quickly for all of us though. The ice cream was good but not creamy or packed with flavor as we would normally like. Overall, if I was in the area already, we would come back but just get the taiyaki and skip any of the ice creams. read more
Black sesame is just milk snow with sesame topping. I was expecting black snow, so I was disappointed. The snow is more sugar water than creamy snow. The variety of toppings is good, but once that runs out, the snow gets bland. It's cutely decorated inside. read more

I severely underrated this place when I saw their soft serve, but I had no idea their soft serve was milk tea flavored. We were pretty full after lunch, so we just got a soft serve, but the shaved ice looked amazing. It can easily serve as a meal for two in the Summer. Decided to visit Snowl to continue the mission of trying each state's shaved ice! This review is solely based on their snow bowls and like what Yelp gives for 3 stars, it was just OK. Snowl is pretty roomy for a dessert cafe, the place could definitely fit a large group of people well. It's also located in a plaza, so parking should be rather convenient. Their menu has selections of Taiyaki, boba tea, smoothies, and snacks to choose from. We ended up ordering the mango snow which came in a large plastic bowl that could easily be shared between 3-4 people. The toppings of the snow were all mango flavored and included mochi ice cream, popping boba, jelly, and mango chunks. There was also a middle layer of mango syrup and toppings. It was a bit too sweet for my liking. I think toppings should compliment shaved ice and give it a nice texture in addition to the softness of the snow, but there was just too much going on. The shaved ice part itself was nice and fluffy though! Their other desserts look appetizing and are presented very nicely. You can also order using their kiosk which was nice for introverts like me. Glad I stopped by to try Snowl, my shaved ice mission continues! read more
My friend recommended this place because of the Korean shaved ice, but there is definitely much more foods to explore here. I was surprised that they had taiyaki, but I was even more surprised that they had taiyaki swimming in ice cream. The king of all surprises was that they had a milk tea flavored ice cream! One of my friends ordered a hazelnut filled taiyaki on milk tea flavored ice cream, and the combination was absolutely perfect. The milk tea ice cream was so crazy good, I would just get that by itself next time. The only thing I can say is that I wish the taiyakis had more filling in them. They don't have too many savory items except for the Tteokbokki. It's covered by a sea of cheese with sausages. It filled up the entire table with a handful of leftovers left! We finished off the meal with a chocolate flavored korean shaved ice, and it was super good and chocolatey. My friend constantly repeated to the table group about how flavorful it was, and it really is a nice finish to the meal. I'd order that again. Really awesome place to snag some Asian desserts! Snowl is a solid dessert place, but the decor and vibe here is fantastic! I got a red bean taiyaki with swirl ice cream (milk tea and matcha). The taiyaki was pretty good, and I really enjoyed the red bean flavor. The ice cream was ok, but not as good as I had hoped. I like that it's soft serve, but the flavor is very muted, and I would've liked a stronger flavor. Overall though, this place is really well priced and is a fun location to hang out with friends or to go on a date. read more
Such a fun place to grab some authentic Japanese dessert. The flavors are spot on and everything delicious. It's located on the Aurora/Denver line, in a small shopping plaza. The interior is decorated very well and it looks fun and whimsical. The menu is large. They have the big "Snowl Bowls", with strawberry or mango. They are about $12 and can feed at least three. Then, there's the traditional Boba Tea, with tons of great flavors like taro, honeydew, and sweet potato. I got the Iced Taro Milk Boba. The highlight are the fish themed cooked called Taiyaki, served in soft serve. We got a tasty Green Tea Mochi flavor with fruity pebbles. Very good flavor and all fresh. So happy we tried this place out. read more

Free parking in front of the shopping mall. Takes cash and credit card. This establishment is located in a busy korean shopping center. It's right next to the Ramen restaurant and a few shops next to the Chicken place. This place is a great spot for those looking for a light snack from bubble teas warm drinks and bingsoo (shaved ice with toppings). They have a wide range of drinks and small bites as well. The decor here is really nice and is a good spot for people to hang out. Plenty of seats in this area too. We tried their mango and green tea shaved ice. Both were very good. For some reason, our mango dish was colder compared to green tea. The mango version was also a bit sweet (IMO) compared to the green tea. However, it's very refreshing that they had fresh mangos on top of the shaved ice. We also ordered their fried mung bean fish. Supposedly it's good to dip with the shaved ice. The staff here are friendly and the cleanliness of the establishment is good as well. Also, pricing here is fair especially given the items they sell. Otherwise, recommend you giving this place a shot. Good for social gatherings. read more

So I gotta be honest; I was just having one of those days today. Grumpy from driving around running errands and I thought to myself "you know I deserve a sweet treat." As I am currently staying at Alfie's and watching all the pups I decided to find something new and exciting in the neighborhood: enter Snowl! I swear I has seen these cute little waffle fish Ice creams posted before on insta so I decided this would be perfect. Especially to get something aesthetically pleasing for my new foodie insta account. Well let me tell you; I am now a fan for life! These were so good! I got a Matcha & Milk Tea swirl, topped it with a Nutella Taiyaki (omg) and fruity pebbles, vanilla wafer, and animal cookies. I wanted to get a variety of toppings for my pic but honestly I am probably just going to go all fruity pebbles next time. The flavor combo of creamy ice cream and the nostalgia of the fruity pebbles was heavenly! Also that delicious waffle fish with Nutella was ridiculous. So fluffy, fresh, and tasty!! All in all the only thing that makes me mad is that it is so close to Alfies. I don't know how I am going to resist wanting to come here any time I'm in the neighborhood. I can honestly say I would be lying if I said I wouldn't be coming back at minimum once more during the week I am watching the dogs; it might even be more! RIP my summer body LOL Also worth mentioning as I am a rather anti social individual; they have ordering kiosks. How cool and convenient. This means I can splurge on a nice treat and not even have to have human interaction if I don't want it. LOL I know I'm a weirdo. ALSOOOO the ambiance is adorable! Perfect for pictures! read more

Turns out, other people already know about this place! Super cute and really busy for a weekday evening. I got a Taiyaki, which I didn't even know you could get in Colorado, and it was really tasty. Crispy and lightly sweet, with a little bit of Nutella on the inside. Plus it came with some milk tea ice cream. I was in a happy little food coma. I also really liked the touch screen ordering options (they also have humans you can talk you) because they were super easy to use and made my indecision feel like a fun little game. Parking is a bit tricky because this isn't the only delicious spot in this strip mall and it seems like half of Aurora is there at any given time. read more

After noshing on all the delicious Korean fried chicken next door at Angry Chicken, my fellow diner's and I decided to check out Snowl for a little dessert. Star #1: The space is fabulous! It's full of bright colors, the cutest gallery wall, fun pendant lights, fluffy clouds are suspended from the ceilings, and with tons of brick and tile throughout - you're sure to love it as well! Star #2: The menu is mostly geared towards dessert items such as Taiyaki (a fish-shaped cake similar to a waffle), boba, snow bowls, and more! However they have treats on both the sweet and savory sides of the spectrum. I opted to sip on a Thai milk tea with coffee jellies. It hit the spot. I sampled the matcha soft serve though and had some serious dessert envy! Star #3: The Taiyaki is clearly the star of the show here! Whether you choose to get your soft serve in a Taiyaki, put a Taiyaki cone in a bowl, or a stuffed Taiyaki - this fun fish-shaped cake will make you smile. Star #4: Portions are GENEROUS! if you opt for the snow bowl I'd suggest splitting it. A couple sitting near our group was struggling through their individual bowls during our visit. Snowl was definitely a fun and unique desert experience. Glad we opted to end our meal with a little treat! Next time I'm seeking to quell my sweet tooth I'll be sure to be back! read more
This place is dangerous because it's way too close to me! Everything is delicious but those taiyaki filled with Nutella, I could eat those every day and still zero guilt about it! This is definitely a place I love to go and sit down, it's so cute inside, the decor is beautiful, I especially love the corner with all the little plants! Love shaved ice and am constantly on the lookout for it. Yay Snowl! Hubs is a big fan of Meet Fresh, which I like okay but I'm more a Vampire Penguin kind of gal. Snowl is a great place we can both agree on. Don't get freaked out by the pricing, it's worth it! We were a party of 7 and we split "family style" (all double vacc'ed) a mango, strawberry and matcha snow! Yum. The popping bobas were tasty and a mochi on top a bonus. Pro tip: Don't save the mochi for last as it gets all soggy and runny. read more

Some of the most unique desserts I've ever had! First off, the environment is hip and the staff is absolutely wonderful! Since it was my first time here, the staff took the time to answer all the questions I had and explain what the desserts were like. They even let us try small samples of what we wanted. Right away, I was hooked! The strawberry snow bowl was not a typical shaved ice dessert. The snow was made of some kind of sweet milk giving it a flavor of its own. This flavor perfectly complimented the strawberries. I will get this again...after trying everything else on the menu :P The taiyaki ice cream was amazing! The fish was filled with Nutella (you can get red bean instead...which I will try next time). We also got the taro ice cream which is a flavor you cannot find in a regular ice cream shop. Overall this was one of the best dessert shops I've been to and I will most definitely come here again! read more

115th/2018 It's the new twist to the old receipe but we all love the new twist. Come and meet the crazy asians hanging out here enjoying the shaved ice topped with fish filled with sweet beans or... Tea, boba, taiyaki and snow bowl. Awesome sweet and rich taste sure to please most palate. If you can handle the spiciness, try the tteokbokki. Korean chili paste mixed into several different ingredients. It's what food network stars are trying to make it into their restaurants by giving you half as much and charge you twice as much. read more
A very cute space, definitely Asian inspired. You could take fun pictures/selfies/videos/boomerangs here to your heart's content, at every corner (even the ceiling), with any decorative objects they placed in the store. As far as the desserts go, I think we made a mistake of coming out here on a full stomach, and too late into the Fall night where it got chilly at that hour. Just weren't in the perfect mood for giant bowls of icy confections or hot but fulfilling pastries. I can see more appeal in the summer time under broad day light. I wish there was more customization allowed, for example, don't want the additional mini cookies and oreos in my matcha ice cream, be even better if cost less with omission. The Black Sesame Snow Bowl was overwhelming but enjoyable, didn't care too much for the almonds though. Would've been nice to be able to create your own. More like between 3 and 4 stars for me. Will probably pop in again if in the area. read more

I'm not a huge ice cream fan but this is not ice cream; it is deliciousness. The fish cone is amazing and you can buy some to take home! For a hot day pit stop I would recommend coming here. You won't regret it. read more
