Instead of simply apologizing and handing me a replacement, they chose to argue with a paying customer over something that probably costs them pennies. They never say "I'm so sorry here's your ice and for your inconvenience pls accept our apologies and take this extra dessert, our complement for messing up the order". The restaurant itself feels chaotic. Their numbering and communication system between the order taker and the cashier clearly needs improvement. Whatever special instructions you give when ordering, you'd better repeat them again at the register or better yet, inspect your order before leaving. The problem is that the checkout area is so hectic that you almost feel rushed to move along. In my case, I felt like I was getting dirty looks for taking too long to verify my order worth over $60 so I checked it in my car instead which is how I discovered the missing ice.
