I came here with a friend last night and had a really good time. We were greeted and instantly seated as they weren't overly busy. My friend and I ordered a pepperoni pizza and medium Buffalo wings. Both items were delicious although the pizza wasn't the best. It got the job done though. Both food items came out piping hot and fresh, which we appreciated. I also like how the tables are set a little ways away from the booths, so it felt kind of like we had our own space. One thing I really appreciated was that the customer service was excellent. All of the employees were younger, maybe high school age, but they were all well behaved and working. They weren't on their phones. Multiple employees came by and asked if everything was ok and if we needed anything. The service was great and nothing took too long. I've been to So Cal Pizza twice in the last couple of weeks, and the pizza was good. Both times, I called in to place my order around 15 minutes prior to getting to the restaurant for take out. The order takers were polite and patient. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was able to pay immediately and did not have to wait more than 5-10 minutes. Service was friendly and efficient. While waiting, I noticed that they had a great selection of beers for sale, in 3 price categories. The lowest price category was $2 per beer, and included Moretti, Red Stripe, El Grito and Mural. What a great idea, if you want to take one to enjoy with your pizza at home! As for the pizza, both times I ordered the Personal Pizza (for one person). The pepperoni pizza with bell peppers was $7. I was surprised that it was so big--- 10 inches in diameter! Definitely a great value. The second time I ordered "The Works" Personal Pizza, which included pepperoni, sausage, bell peppers, olives and onions---really good and the price was $8. The first one definitely satisfied my pizza craving, which brought me back again. And the second one was even better! Would recommend "The Works." Overall a great and satisfying experience.
