I tried Lamb Chops w/Grits (1st time having Lamb Chops) & Eggs Over Easy, Salmon Croquette w/Rice & Scrambled Eggs and Shrimp & Grits. There was a hint of gaminess on the Lamb, but it was good. There is so much I want to try at Elicious. This restaurant will see me again. 8.5/10

Once we were seated, it took another 10 minutes before our waitress came to the table, and about 40 more minutes before our food arrived. As for the food, there were definitely some highs and lows. The pancakes were outstanding--light, fluffy, and probably the best thing I had. My dad ordered the seafood omelet, and it looked amazing. He said it tasted just as good as it looked. On the other hand, the grits lacked seasoning, and the salmon croquettes could definitely use more flavor. I also ordered scrambled eggs with cheese, expecting the cheese to be mixed throughout the eggs, but instead it was simply a slice of cheese placed on top and partially melted. The staff was friendly and courteous throughout our visit, which I appreciated. However, as a culinary school graduate, I couldn't help but notice that the front-of-house operations seemed a bit disorganized. Better communication and more efficient service would make a significant difference to the overall dining experience. Overall, it was a mixed experience for our table of four. There were some dishes we really enjoyed and others that fell short. I'm on the fence about returning, but I haven't completely ruled it out. Hopefully they'll improve the timing and organization because the potential is definitely there.

I had the pork chops on two occasions, and each time it was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Highly recommend!

After sitting down, I noticed paper menus sitting on the counter, so I walked over to grab them. The lady at the register, who later claimed to be the manager after I asked to speak to one, said, "I will bring them to you." Also fine. I simply went back to our booth and waited. When she came over, instead of saying hello or introducing herself, her first words were, "You need to practice a little patience." That immediately put my service radar on high alert. There was no attitude from us, no complaints, we had simply walked over to grab menus. The comment was unnecessary and unprofessional. She then asked what we wanted to drink. I calmly asked, "Can you wipe the table down?" Her response: "It is." I replied, "It is not there are spots on the table." She then pointed at the table and said, "These are imperfections." I know the difference between imperfections in a surface and spots that can be wiped clean. The table clearly had residue on it. Rather than simply wiping it down, she chose to argue. At that point, I told my husband, "Let's just leave." The entire interaction felt dismissive, defensive, and rude. When I asked to speak to a manager, she claimed she was the manager. I let her know directly that her tone and behavior were inappropriate, and we left. Customer service is about making guests feel welcome. This felt the exact opposite. I should have trusted the 3.7-star rating, but I gave the benefit of the doubt. That was a mistake. Do not waste your time or money here.

I am in a stupor. I have never seen nor heard of this place. It's a typical older diner with booths and a rather older interior. Our server seemed to be busy. She brought our drinks and said she would be back. Not my favorite thing a server said. She shows up, takes our order, and the food comes out rather quickly. When I first saw the ham, I was thinking, "Oh boy, this is not going to be good." Tasted way better than it looked. I did the same thing with the brown-and-serve sausage. My server did a great job of taking the order. Equally was good at bringing out our food. But i had to stop her and ask for a refill. She brought out the bill and offered a drink to go. You have to pay up front instead of at the table. The food was good. They don't have any pork products. They have turkey ham, turkey bacon, and turkey sausage. Which is perfect for me since i don't eat pork. They added beef bacon to the menu. I had to try it. I git a side of beef bacon. It was fried crispy. I had the chicken and waffles. The waffle come with plenty of butter on top. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It wad spicy. The spice level was perfect for me. The chicken tenders and fries looked great. The tenders were huge. It was crispy. The server said they make their own tenders. It looks like seasoned well but it didn't have any flavor. The fries were good. The restaurant was busy. It was Sunday an f a mixture of a church crowd and others. The parking lot was full. They do have plenty of parking.

We started with coffee, which was smooth and well-balanced--definitely a great way to kick off brunch. My wife ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict, featuring poached eggs on toasted ciabatta with smoked sockeye salmon, red onion, tomato, and hollandaise, served with mixed greens. I went with the Market Hash, which included eggs over seasoned potatoes with mushrooms, onions, red peppers, spinach, mozzarella, and herbed goat cheese, along with whole grain toast. The food itself was very good--flavorful, fresh, and enjoyable. The only downside was the timing. Even though we weren't in a rush, we noticed a couple of tables that were seated way after us received their food before we did. I guess the kitchen doesn't believe is FIFO. (First In First Out). It wasn't a major issue, but it did stand out. Our server was fine--nothing exceptional, but no real complaints either. Overall, it was a solid brunch experience with tasty food, and I'd still consider coming back to this location.
