On the other hand, the grits lacked seasoning, and the salmon croquettes could definitely use more flavor. I also ordered scrambled eggs with cheese, expecting the cheese to be mixed throughout the eggs, but instead it was simply a slice of cheese placed on top and partially melted. The staff was friendly and courteous throughout our visit, which I appreciated. However, as a culinary school graduate, I couldn't help but notice that the front-of-house operations seemed a bit disorganized. Better communication and more efficient service would make a significant difference to the overall dining experience. Overall, it was a mixed experience for our table of four. There were some dishes we really enjoyed and others that fell short. I'm on the fence about returning, but I haven't completely ruled it out.
