Best carpet cleaning we have ever had! Toby gave me an estimate over the phone based on the amount of rooms I needed done and it was very reasonable. Once he arrived and looked over everything he said it would actually be less than the quote he gave me. How often does that happen? Most other carpet cleaning companies we have used in the past tag on extra for everything they can. As soon as they see my dog it becomes about how I need urine enzyme cleaner and extra deodorizers so on. Not only did appreciate not having to deal with surprise add ons but I was also impressed with how respectful he was with our home in general. He wore booties even when we told him it wasn't necessary. He also uses some kind of plastic guards that protect the walls from being damaged during the cleaning. We called So Fresh Carpet Care (Toby Fafard, 707-689-9180) because the firm was voted the best carpet care company in the Daily Republic survey in 2016 and I think also 2018. We had three large rooms, a staircase, and a hallway to clean. Toby is the owner and spent about 2.5-3 hours getting the carpets very clean. They look fantastic. He was also very careful about not dinging walls, moldings or door frames, and there were zero drops of water on the tile/wood floors that were adjacent to the rooms with carpet. There was very little moisture left in the carpets so the drying time was quick. Toby had brought fans with him so the drying in the rooms he did earlier could be accelerated while he did the remaining areas. Toby uses a heavy duty carpet shampooer and steamer with a powerful steam/water suction hose. We would recommend him highly. read more
