Then I found Sheldon Jewelers and the contrast couldn't be greater. They were cheerful and helpful on the phone. In person, they were friendly and capable. Not only did they confirm they could do the job, they were very thorough in getting the right size and showed they understood the materials (both the silver and the unusual setting). I left feeling confident I'd gone to the right place. I got the ring today - not only was it done sooner than I expected but they did a lovely job for well under what I had budgeted.
