The smoothies are disgusting. We ordered a strawberry banana and a peanut butter cacao. We each had one sip and threw it straight to the trash. $22 for one sip of garbage. I personally ordered the strawberry banana and it tasted like the bananas were not ripe and the strawberries were thrown in with the stems on them. I imagined fruit I cut up myself would taste sweeter than this; there's zero reason it tastes like dirt. I also took a sip of the PB cacao bc I thought something had to be wrong with just mine and that was also nasty. WORSE than mine. Maybe the fruit is sitting in the freezer too long or the employees can't decipher what a ripe banana should feel like but we won't be trying it again. read more

I like this SolBol location. Bowls have always been good, same top notch granola as always, and service has always been friendly, in my experience! A tip: The parking lot can be a little tricky to navigate off Hawkins Ave because of where SolBol itself is tucked away. It is on a corner and there is a traffic light that is right next to the parking lot, but not quite for the parking lot. There is a small auxiliary dirt pullout/lot where a few cars can park on the side of SolBol on Church St. I prefer to use that, but it can get a little messy if there has been some weather. It's worth parking there if Hawkins seems busy. This SolBol isn't very large, but the seating inside seems pleasant. Can't say too much for it since I normally just end up grabbing a couple of açaí bowls to go whenever I come here. read more

Really good experience in this location. The staff were really friendly and informative of the menu. Before SoBol I've only really had the normal Acai bowls with the paste granola and fruit. Here they have some interesting combinations and paste that I haven't seen before on the east coast. There are also neat board games and things to interact with your friends while enjoying a snack. This location is fairly new like their other location in Hauppauge. In terms of my order I always go for the normal Acai bowl and Chicken noodle soup. Nicole normally gets the green one but I'm more traditional lol. read more

Her choice was the Green smoothie which had , Spinach , Kale, Mango , Agave , and Banana . This is my favorite SoLBol location. The reason being is the customer service. I live a mInute away from a Solbol but will drive the 15 minutes to this location because everyone is so nice. The store is super clean too. This weekend I picked up a 8oz acai bowl. I usually opt for the larger size but for breakfast this was the perfect portion. I also took home a jar of Laurel Butter. If you haven't tried their butters make it a point too. I added some to my açaí bowl to have protein. They also have a killer coffee menu. Creative menu. Hope they add it to their website soon. Excited to find a new location closer to home! I love the acai bowls here which are always flavor packed and topped with fresh fruit. The establishment is always very clean, and the staff greets you almost immediately upon entering. Other than acai bowls there are two other types of bowls, as well as soups, muffins and several coffee options on the menu. A great place for a quick bite to eat, whether you take to go or dine in as they have several tables for sitting. I come here pretty frequently, my favorite so far is the coconut bowl with almond butter, but the original acai bowl is really good as well. 4 stars because depending on the day the bowl isn't full or it's missing the oats or the almond butter but more times than not they get it right. So done with Solbol stop making them on long island please! The bowl is 90% granola if you do light or no granola the bowl is LESS than HALF full and it was over $30 for 2 bowls filled less than half way at another location which they were extremely rude about it in patchogue came to ronkonkoma and same thing barely anything else except granola i got coconut filling it was warm and barely any with added fruit ALL GRANOLA 17$ for a bowl of granola everyone else says the same and they're done going here i see why now! read more

I get the same thing every time: no coconut flakes, two scoops of peanut butter and mango. I am taking off one star because of the inconsistency in packaging. I always order the same thing but sometimes I order a kids size and sometimes I order a regular size. Sometimes they cram everything into a kid size (and leave the lid half on) and sometimes they put my kid size in a regular container so they can actually close the lid. Today I ordered a regular size and it came in a LARGE container which was really nice! I felt like none of my toppings and açaí were spilling out of the container. They do get pretty busy but I think the staff do a great job at churning out the bowls. The shop itself is very clean and they have board games in case you want to hang out. There's also a picnic table outside if you want to eat outside but I haven't been able to take advantage of this since it just started getting warm out. read more

I've been to a couple of SoBol locations and this one is by far the cleanest one I've been to. It isn't brand new, but it still has that look to it, so I appreciate the level of upkeep at this location. The staff here is fantastic, everyone has always had a smile on when I've come in, they're quick to help but happy to wait if need be. My friend and I came here later during the week and were going to make sure we were out on time, and usually staff begins to hover 15 minutes before closing, but they didn't here at all, so we didn't feel rushed (though we obviously made sure to leave before they closed!) The food here is definitely on par with what you would get at the other locations. I tried their soup for the first time - stuck to chicken noodle, which is very basic, but it was definitely solid here. Typically I get the Acai Bowl, their specialty. They don't skimp and I usually ask for a modification - not a fan of strawberries or the shaved coconut - but they always make sure to ask if that is because of allergies, which isn't an issue for me, but could be very important to other people. read more

I am so impressed with the workers at SoBol Ronkonkoma. Tonight Maggie helped me. I asked if I could do a no contact pick up since I have Covid and Maggie couldn't have been nicer about it. I paid over the phone and she asked me to call when I got there because we agreed she would leave it right outside once I was there. My daughter got out to grab our order once Maggie was back inside and I saw this big smile on my daughter's face. Maggie had written "Feel Better" on the bag. Something so small meant so much because we've been quarantining. Then we get home to find "get well" and "feel better" written on the containers. My daughters and I felt so good that Maggie took the time to write that. Again, it may seem small but the kindness and thoughtfulness that went into that really made us so happy. I've never had a bad experience with the staff. They all seem to be cut from the same cloth which is why I still go there after I moved. This was my first time at SoBol and I absolutely loved it! I ordered an original acai bowl and asked for no bananas to be included mainly because eating them gives me a migraine. The girl behind the counter was very helpful and she asked if it was a preference or an allergy which in my case is sort of both. But she explained that if it's an allergy then they would need to make sure no bananas were mixed in the actual acai base! After recently discovering açaí bowls and loving them, I had to stop by SoBol because it's so close to work. I'm sorry to say, it wasn't as exciting as my first experience with açaí bowls at Bango Bowls. The açaí bowl wasn't bad; it just wasn't great and for $7.88 (plus tax), I'm not sure if I would come back. The açaí base was melting when I got it, so by the time I was halfway through, it was all soupy. There wasn't much of it either; I got a regular size, which is pretty big, but it wasn't filled all the way. The granola is really good and the fruit was nice and fresh. I wish they had more topping options though, like chocolate chips or different fruits, and a make-your-own option like at Bango Bowls. The inside of SoBol is nice and cozy and it looks clean and new. The parking lot is also spacious, which is nice. It is a little quiet though and when I was there, the girls working there didn't seem to know how to manage everything. I really wish I had liked SoBol more. I would definitely be a regular customer if they didn't skimp on the açaí base, kept the base frozen (so it's not melting), and had chocolate chips. One more thing: they could use some better spoons. It sounds silly, but when you're trying to scoop up all that stuff, you really need a sturdier plastic spoon than those flimsy ones. read more
