Throughout this situation, I tried to remain professional and respectful and expressed my willingness to resolve everything amicably. Yet, after paying nearly $4,000 for a re-gear service, I discovered a massive gear oil leak covering my driveway the very next morning due to an improperly secured axle. This left my driveway stained and reeking of gear oil--with professional cleaning estimates ranging from $400 to $600--and I spent the entire weekend in anxiety, questioning whether my truck was even safe to drive, and eventually having to return it on Monday, which disrupted my business. During this process, I was communicating with my assigned service advisor, but responses were often delayed, unclear, or evasive; messages went unanswered, questions were redirected, and clear answers were difficult to obtain. When I brought the truck back, it was described as "just a loose axle" and claimed fixed, yet no documentation was provided proving that the differential or internal gears were inspected after I had driven it for an hour while leaking. Their claim that "there is no problem" or "everything is fine" is something no reasonable person could trust. With re-gear work, any mistake or improper setup often only becomes apparent after several thousand miles of driving. This is why a formal guarantee is not just a request, but a necessity. When I requested a formal written warranty, they only gave me a $0 invoice with no actual warranty terms or duration. For days, I calmly requested two very reasonable things: a formal written warranty and a fair resolution for the driveway damage. I never demanded compensation for emotional distress or lost business time; I simply asked for accountability. After experiencing this, I looked through other reviews and realized that my experience was not an isolated incident. I strongly urge everyone to READ THE 1-STAR REVIEWS FIRST before coming here. You will see a chilling and habitual pattern: dodging responsibility, being 'afraid of standing behind their work,' and sneakily adding extra charges--then claiming they are unavoidable. In fact, I later realized the overcharge I experienced was just a small fraction compared to what others have reported. You will also notice that the owner's responses to negative reviews are always the same--robotic, defensive, and dismissive. They publicly ask customers to 'contact us' to give the appearance of being helpful, but it is nothing more than a deceptive marketing tactic. If they truly intended to resolve these issues, my driveway wouldn't still be stained, and I wouldn't be left with a useless $0 invoice instead of a real warranty. The fact that these 1-star reviews remain unchanged proves that their 'invitation to talk' is a sham and nothing ever gets resolved. They have a template for excuses but no manual for accountability. As a business owner for over 20 years, I understand mistakes happen, but I cannot accept a refusal to take responsibility. I am now filing a formal complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repair and initiating a credit card dispute. A strong online presence means nothing if a company fails to protect its customers' safety and property. [UPDATE: Response to the Owner's Reply] The owner's response below is exactly what I warned about: a robotic, defensive excuse that shifts the blame. They claim a 'failed C-clip' on an aftermarket part, but as any professional knows, this is a clear sign of improper installation, not a part failure. They also claim they 'verified' no internal damage, yet they provided zero technical proof or a detailed inspection report after I drove with no oil for an hour. Mentioning a '90-day warranty' now is laughable--if that were true, why did they refuse to provide a formal written warranty when I asked for it repeatedly for days? Their response is just another marketing tactic to look responsible in public while remaining unaccountable in private. Not happy with how my suspension install turned out. The rear is sagging due to my shell? .. which seems like something that should have been accounted for or at least discussed before or during service. I would have expected a recommendation to adjust the rear height to avoid an uneven stance. Instead it was delivered uneven (no one wants that) and I'll need to wait long for an additional appointment + pay additional service to get it level. read more

I have been back and forth with Ryan for a bout a week . I have a 2020 jeep gladiator . So I was trying to get my gears done . And Ryan he tells me oh it's $1400-$1500 just labor to do the gears . I paid $1200 for the gears . And I can't see how they sleep at night . I want them to earn my business but I'm not after what he told me . $1900 out the door with there gears and labor . So 1200 for gears plus $700 labor ? And they want 14-15 hundred just labor to replace the gears I bought from there website . He keeps saying promotion this and that that's total BS!! I found them by taking advantage of Yelps "Request a Quote" feature. Sean was my service advisor and he made things happen to shorten my installation timeline by a week. He and I actually partnered on the build and he truly listened to my concerns and expectations. He didn't oversell me, but he also was firm about certain parts I could not skimp on to meet my vision. I have a daily driver and it was important to have an aggressive look, but a practical ride. Sean is very responsive, he will proactively return your calls, and give project updates. He also builds the hype with you. I was pumped to get my car after seeing the teaser pics. Jeep builds are not cheap, you get what you pay for. Sean will work with your budget. A few things I like, were little, but go along way. Rebel Off Road, does not discard any of your parts without asking first. They put their license plate frame on your car without asking. This shows pride in their work. Everyone is polite on the phone. They hooked me up with a tee shirt and suggested some beginner trails for me. They schedule a follow up after 1,000 miles driven to firm up your alignment. One service they should offer, live tutorials workshops on all the Jeep functions and options that come from the manufacturer and how they work with your new build. They have some expensive builds there, but they treated mine like it was the most important. I got my first wrangler built somewhere else, and I can clearly see the better quality on this one. read more

I had my gearing changed here a while back and just got around to replacing the diff cover, so the first time the cover has been off since Rebel touched it. I come to find that one of the bolt holes was welded closed, and the snapped bolt head was siliconed in place to make it appear that the bolt was still in. Whether or not they were the ones who had originally snapped the bolt is beside the point, since they were the last ones who touched the diff and I was never informed of the issue. What was supposed to be a quick diff fluid and cover change turned into scrambling to get the weld drilled out and retap the hole so I was able to continue driving my jeep that I use daily to get to work and school. Being informed of the issue would have at least let me plan for the situation so mending it wouldn't have been as unexpected and costly. read more

I was able to take those findings back to the shop that caused the issue in the first place and they were able to correct it. I Love this place very nice seeing the Fully Loaded Jeeps outside. When you walk in the place is very nice and the wonderful shop dog greets you. I came in to get A-Pillar lights installed on my Colorado and they did an amazing job! They also gave me a cool decal to add to my truck and cool license plate! Sean, the build specialist I've been working with, is very helpful! He's been helping me find other parts to add to my Colorado and giving me quotes for each one. Went with Rebel Off Road, because of there reputation. Not to mention they are also an authorized installer for the 3.5" Rock Lander mid arm suspension lift from MetalCloak I wanted installed. The facility is clean and the equipment is state of the art and the work was performed in a timely manner. Sean was my sales representative and kept me informed on the status of the build. As with a build like this there are bound to be issues that come up and this one was not an exception. After taking possession of my vehicle I did have an issue with a wheel, almost immediately after leaving the shop. I called Sean and he and the owner Bond took care of my issue without hesitation, things could have been a lot worse. The team rectified the problem and I had my vehicle back the same day. Days after picking up my vehicle I took it out for a several day trail run and it performed fantastically with no further issues. if you want something to look cool- go here. you want to actually USE your offroad equipment go somewhere else. they didnt tighten bolts on my sway bar- lost it the first time in Joshua tree- second time- luckily my local mechanic caught it. what really pissed me off? converted my soft top to hard top- had a windshield wiper and defroster. paid over 5000 for the work... it wasnt until fall that i found out they didnt hook up any of the wiring! when i called them, they gave me some lame excuse about the steering column. such BS- the rear defroster button is on the console and i had a button added unfer my dash. i will never go back to this racket. read more
