I'm honestly furious with this service. I made it very clear I needed a new cleaner and booked for 9 AM Friday. I planned my entire morning around it. Not only did no one show up, but I had to keep chasing them down just to get an update. I called repeatedly, and the receptionist kept saying she'd call me back with an ETA -- never happened. I kept following up, and all I got were empty reassurances like "they're on their way." An hour later, they finally admitted no one was coming. No warning, no apology -- just complete silence until I pushed. This is beyond unprofessional. The communication is horrible, and clearly you can't count on them to actually show up. Don't waste your time -- it's basically a coin toss whether they'll honor your appointment. read more

The price was extremely high for 2 1/2 hours of work by 2 people, but I was kind of up against the wall and didn't see that I had much flexibility. I probably won't contact them again if I need move-in/move-out cleaning. But I might. It's only money, after all. Update: less than 2 minutes after I filed this review, I got a polite phone call from the company asking if I'd be willing to give them a higher rating if they refunded 15% of the price. I had new tenets moving into my fully furnished condo and needed a deep clean of the couch as well as the mattresses as well as cleaning of the entire condo. I had scheduled this service 3 months in advance. A couple days before the service, the house keeper was unfortunately in an accident(she's ok now). This meant I had no one to clean my condo. SD county cleaning cared so much about the service they weren't able to provide, that they decided to clean my couch and mattress for free due to this unforeseen issue. I was able to hire another house keeper but couldn't believe they're dedication to still providing me cleaning service. This company cares about its clients and puts them first. Alex came in and went above and beyond. The couch and mattress look brand new. He took the time to discuss the reality of what could be cleaned and what would still look stained(wine on the bed). I hired these guys based on all the solid reviews and what i thought was a great price, and this is the first time I have had a "5 star" rated business fail on me so miserably. I had a deep clean done for my home. Or as they called it a DEEP Deep clean. Two people for six hours should be at most $500. I paid them $750. I figure ok, that's fine, they were super fast, but after the one and only weekly maintenance, that's when i realized that these guys are just swindling me. It was $175, and the guy Albert was only here for 3 hours. My cabinets still had dust on them, sink was still dirty, and floors were filthy in some areas. So what seems like a fair price from a " military" background company..is actually a bait and switch. They are barely cleaning and charging premium. I am hiring a new cleaner who will be here for 6 hours for less than the $175 that this place is charging for 3 hours. And i want to make it clear, it doesn't matter how long it takes if they did an amazing job. I am the only the second 5 star review on here, and i like yelp... but yelp can't work if all the reviews are stellar and the work is below average, and quite frankly just a complete rip off, and very defensive. They did offer to charge me half off the last bill, but will not admit the absolute lie that the guy was there for three hours. For $58/ hour i think every american could get filthy rich NOT cleaning my home ! I don't know who Lesly is.. but it's not a woman.. some guy on the phone pretending to be a woman for some reason- that should have been a red flag right there. Forcing me to give a clearance in front of your staff is a weak ploy. If you really cared about this business you would take this type of negative review and just make your business better, instead of trying to take advantage of people for short term gain. They were able to come with one days notice. They got the floors clean enough for me to go barefoot. The bathrooms were very dust with spider webs. from the previous owner. Wow wow wow ! The customer service is amazing ! I called last minute on a Saturday to see if they could send someone that day or the next day. Someone promy answered with a time they could come the next day and a quote. I had a two bedroom one bath and was quoted 250 to clean the whole thing (deep clean), as i was moving out. I ended up not needing the second bedroom to be cleaned, and they dropped the price to 200. The gentleman they sent me was extremely fast and asked me if everything looked ok and how exactly i wanted everything. He did a pretty good job and i am very happy with the service. There were little spots he missed in the kitchen and bedroom but they were very Easy to correct. For payment they take cash or credit card. I didn't know what to expect with this service since it was my first time using it, but it was a great experience and i would absolutely recommend! read more

We contacted on Friday night and was able to schedule a deep cleaning for Monday! Maria showed up promptly at nine o'clock Monday morning and took a look around, asking questions about exactly what we needed done. We explained that we had just had a major pool and landscaping project completed and needed to get rid of the residual dirt and dust. I managed to use Yelp to message several companies before making a decision, and was thankful for all replies. I did choose one of the companies that replied to me the fastest, which is a big plus. The day of the cleaning was very straight forward, and they showed up just in time. They did clean more parts of the house than other companies, which was part of the decision making. However, in the hours and days following the cleaning we noticed things that definitely should have been addressed in a deep cleaning (ie. a hair/dust bunny stuck to the bottom of the barstool chair, etc.). Hired them for a deep clean and got a light surface cleaning. There were tons of areas the cleaner missed as well as our whole laundry room. He asked what areas I'd like him to focus on the most so I told him a few important ones but it seems he misunderstood and thought I only wanted him to clean those areas. He spent about half a day by himself cleaning a 1500sq ft house minus two whole rooms I didn't want him to touch bc they didn't need cleaning. This should have been at least a 2 person job even without having to clean two of the rooms. He was very nice so two stars for that, but he did not do a good job at all. When bringing it to their attention, they were unwilling to help and were in denial about them doing subpar work. We actually hired them to come out twice so they just said the next time they come out, they'll bring another person but did not offer to resolve our issue for the first cleaning. On top of all that, they never showed for the second cleaning....??! No call, no email, nothing and it's been one month. I found SD County Cleaning in Yelp, sent them a quote request at 7:30AM, and received an immediate response. By 10AM Ruby was at my house cleaning. The service was excellent, communication clear, and the price more than fair. Ruby did a phenomenal job, working so hard to get the place as perfect as possible. She regularly checked with me to make sure the work was good and that I was happy. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a cleaner.
