The temperature in the south facing bedroom on a hot 90 degree plus day would always be nine degrees hotter than the rest of the house. I decided to replace not only the four windows in the south facing bedroom, but six other windows that can be viewed in the same field of vision from the street, to keep the aesthetics consistent. The replacement windows I selected are double pane argon gas filled to help keep the heat out during the summer season. I put out a bid on Yelp and narrowed the field down to two companies, Note I did not select the least expensive bid, but actually selected the most expensive bid. My reasoning was a solid five star Yelp rating, BBB A+++ rating and the knowledge and excellent follow up provided by the salesperson, David White. Other factors in my decision were silver coating on the glass to reduce the intense green hue that most argon gas filled windows exhibit and exterior window casings that are solid without decorative ribs that would collect dirt. I was provided with a detailed explanation of the process and same day estimate. The process from start to finish took five weeks. This would have been as little as two weeks if I did not have an arch top window. Curved windows take longer to build, at least for Ameristar. It took me a while to prepare the two rooms, so I was not in a big hurry. The installation was done yesterday. The crew was on time, polite, and from my view, was extremely careful and exhibited excellent attention to detail. The 10 windows were installed in one day. The crew cleaned up their mess very well and everything went according to plan. I am completely satisfied with the entire process. The windows are very elegant looking, not so green and make the house look better. I trust that the temperature in the south facing bedroom will level out with the rest of the house with the argon gas in the windows. Five stars all the way. Well done.

From the beginning, Gerson was very professional and kind. He answered all my questions and showed me photos of previous projects. The windows looked like great quality, and the price was very fair. The windows were ready and installed in exactly two weeks. On installation day, they arrived on time, worked quickly, and cleaned up everything afterward. One window was for the restroom (frosted glass) and the other was for the master bedroom. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable company with fair pricing and good quality windows.

Then he recommends that the doors open outward at the main entry, which that usually is not how it works number one number two in snow country we would never be able to get out in a good storm. When my wife brings up the fact that we won't be able to get out, he suggests we should build some patio covers. Fortunately, we have done a lot of research and the other door companies who came out validated our research, so sadly, we will be going with another company.

From initial vendor comparison to signing on the dotted line on the day of project completion,…read moreworking with Hometime Windows and Doors was one of the best home renovation decisions we've made. My wife and I recently purchased our first home. It's old construction built in the 1970's, and the windows in the home were original, which for us meant thin and leaky. One of our first priorities was total window replacement. We started making calls to local vendors specializing in window replacements who offered laminated glass. Hometime Windows and Doors was one of the several we contacted. Let's start with Dylan, the consultant that returned our inquiries. He was very flexible in terms of scheduling, and was consistent with follow-ups over email, text, and phone. He took time over those communications to understand fully what we were looking to accomplish and came prepared to our in-house consultation with extensive product information and samples. He put together a proposal that while not the least expensive, was still very competitive. Combined with Hometime's superior materials and methods, it was an easy yes. Living in an HOA controlled community meant that the proposal needed to be reviewed and approved by the board, which wasn't an issue, but certainly added delays. That's where Nina, their scheduler came in clutch, keeping everything on hold until we had the necessary approvals. Once she did, she worked diligently to find dates and times to start our project that worked for our schedule, and still allowed us to get things going before our approvals expired. She remained in communication right up until the first install day making sure that all logistics were set. Finally, it was time for the install. Our installers, Enrique and Christian showed up right on time the first day, were able to work around a challenging parking situation, and got right to work. The original windows in our home, being of a very old design, were of a type that couldn't be pulled out simply. They literally had to be broken out of the walls piece-by-piece. This did cause some concern around potential damage as well as hazards that broken glass might present to our pets who were at home during the install. But we needn't have been concerned at all. Enrique and Christian were extremely careful, and worked diligently until all the old windows were out, and the new windows went in perfectly fitted and finished. Upon completion they accompanied me on a tour to check their work, reminded me of their warranty policies, and made sure I was completely satisfied with all they'd done before concluding our business. True professionals all throughout. In the days that followed, the owner Andrew also touched base with us to make sure everything was completed to our satisfaction, and that we were completely happy with our choice, which we absolutely are. If you're in Southern California, and are looking to replace or upgrade your windows, window coverings, interior or exterior doors, you simply can't do better than the professionals at Hometime Windows and Doors.

They stand behind their products and honor the warranty but like every other manufacturer in any business they are not perfect every time. if I ever have an issue, I reach out to them and they will get the process started. Their delivery drivers, Saul and Willie are courteous and hard working as well. I have read a couple of their reviews which in my opinion is unfair to compare them to Andersen because Andersen charges 4 times the price for their products. Overall, good people to do business with, and I do agree that there is definitely room for improvements to be made on all levels. Thank you Jay, Vivian and everyone else who work hard to take care of their customers.

I would had to pay a lot more for Milgard or other name brands. Crystal Pacific Windows is the West Coast division of Crystal Windows in Flushings, NY, which has been in business for over 30 years. So they aren't a fly-by-night company. And they have the warranty to stand behind their work. I did my homework. I chose Crystal Pacific for their commercial lines of vinyl storefont windows for my motel lobby and all 11 rooms facing the street. The quality of the windows exceeded my expectations. The guest rooms facing the street used to the last ones to sell because of the street noise. Fire trucks and ambulances would race towards Providence St. John's Hospital. These dual-glazed, energy-efficient windows cut the noise level by 80%. I also swapped out the old-fashion, wall-sleeve PTAC air conditioning units that also transmitted sound. Now, our worst rooms are amazing quiet and comfortable. And they look great from the street too. Here's our facade renovation poster about our facade renovation. We are almost done. I'll post the actual storefront and guest room windows once we are done and all the dust is gone. During the renovation and installation by our general contractor, we noticed that one of the windows had a crack. My GC said it was due to stacking too many windows against the wall. Regardless of who or what caused the crack, Crystal Pacific's Service Team IMMEDIATELY came onsite, inspected the cracked window, measured it, and replaced it within a week or two! Wow, great service too.
