Wasn't too sure about this place after my first visit, my consultation was very fast and Dr Dong didn't ask me if I had any questions. However, I decided to go through with it since I really wanted to get the Keloid I had on my upper left ear removed. My second appointment was a much better experience! Earlier this year, I had the privilege to visit and observe Dr. Dong Ha in his practice. The SoCal Plastic Surgery Center showed itself to be different than most of the several doctor offices and clinics surrounding it. The office seems bot comfortable and clean, providing a safe environment for patients. The staff seemed patient and competent, and throughout my weeks there they were able to answer many questions for me while efficiently getting through their tasks. As for Dr. Ha himself, I can see that although the Surgery Center is nice, patients definitely return to see the doctor. Dr. Ha seemed extremely empathetic and caring towards his patients. He took the time to put them at ease and make them comfortable before any and all procedures and was very respectful towards all of them. I have seen him accommodate various patients needs from language barriers to miscellaneous questions and requests, all while maintaining the efficiency of his office. Their services are much more affordable compared to Beverly Hills surgeons. I cannot even begin to emphasize my dissatisfaction with Dr. Ha. As a matter of fact,"dissatisfaction" does not merely describe how appalled I felt when Dr. Ha took one look at my demeanor and made up his mind about me in as quickly as a few seconds. I came into this center expressing my want for bigger breasts, and hoped that through a consultation, my questions would be addressed and elaborated. However, my consultation with Dr. Ha and his assistant proved to be very unhelpful. I felt like I had so many questions to ask, but I did not feel comfortable enough to express my concerns, nor did I even know how where to begin. Although his assistant had attempted to assist me in my decision, she lacked the customer experience and hospitality that is needed to reassure patients to put their trust Dr. Ha. But this was not even the worse of my experience. What took the icing off the cake was that after a quick glance and a few spoken words, Dr. Ha left the room with his assistant and muttered "Mo chien", meaning "no money"...as if trying to imply that I cannot afford to get my breasts done. I had just came from the gym, still sporting my work out clothes. (perhaps this is the reason as to why he thought I could not afford have new breasts) By judging me on mere appearance, Dr. Ha proved that not only does his office lack proper hospitality but that it also lacks professionalism. I hope that no girl ever has to experience the type of treatment that was enacted upon me today, as i'm sure it could really discourage ANY girl from getting her breasts done for the very first time. I came to Dr. Ha's office to remove a cyst on my head. Surgery in general is a scary thought, but from the start to finish, Dr. Ha and his assistants made me feel at ease. The office especially during Covid times was nice and clean. The receptionist named Wendy was super nice, accommodating, and always answered all the questions I have. Booking the appointments were easy and the wait times to see Dr. Ha were always minimal. Dr. Ha is very experienced, knowledgeable, and confident. During my out-patient surgery, he made me feel very comfortable and monitored me the whole entire time. He talked to me every step of the way and made my fear go away. The place I used to go to for facials had closed down. My friend recommend facials with Nora at this place . I must say it's a very weird place to do facials. It's a plastic surgery/ doctors office. But that's better I guess, I'd assume everything is cleaner than the regular spa/facial places. Nora is nice. She explains everything you need to know about the type of skin you have. I had a traumatic injury to my face and was suffered a slice from just under my lower lip, down my chin and under my jaw that went all the way through the to the jawbone. Dr. Ha stitched me up in the Hospital and had me me follow up several times to check the progress of the healing wound. I'm very pleased with how much it has healed and it is now barely noticeable. My insurance took to long to authorize my first checkup, which left the drain he had put in too long, but that was not his fault. This left a small hole under my jaw which he ended up letting close on its own and it is now not very noticeable either. Staff was nice and friendly. Dr.Ha is amazing at what he does, even for the most scared and nervous patients, he'll take the time to reassure you that he definitely knows what he's doing. Recently, he had given me the opportunity to remove my overgrown keloid scars(and believe me, they were overgrown). I had a breast reduction done last year. Before my surgery i was very nervous about the whole situation dr. Dong Ha was very comforting he answered all the my questions. After the surgery i would get a low fever and i would call him around 12 midnight and he would either answer my calls or call me back asap. Very pleased with this whole experience thanks to him :) and the staff very helpful as well. Especially Anna she had no problem answering my stupid questions lol & if she didnt have an answer somehow shell try her best to find out by contacting the doctor and would call me back with an answer. First let me start with the only nice person at this office whom was a sweet elderly lady at the front desk named Wendy. She is fairly new as per what she told me so she checked my insurance and set up the appointment, telling me that the doctor hasnt done a breast reduction in a long time, however all I needed was a revision. Being Wendy mentioned that Dr Ha is a reconstruction specialist as also advertised on his site and business card we agreed this may be even better since I require a revision with reconstruction.. As per the web site and business cards say DR.Ha advertises his services as having broad expertise with years of experience however I beg to differ. As far as I'm concerned he uses false advertising methods to get the client/patients in for consultation. What made my appointment go wrong was the nursing staff, this nurse was incompetent and was blaming my scheduling issue on ,the receptionist at the front desk, Wendy. She went on to make mention that Dr. Ha doesnt do breast reduction for 14 years because insurance companies wont pay him for it when it is of medical need, keep in mind I needed a revision, minor in regards to a truthful breast reduction. Plus how does this incompetent nurse base this on what insurance companies may or may not do now, I mean 14 years ago, really?! I advised this unskilled nurse that I have Aetna PPO and it pays for these services as I've already spoken to them to reconfirm. I advised her that my insurance even paid for a paneculectomy due to medical need but she kept responding negatively so I asked why they wasted my time and yet again she blamed it on Wendy at the front desk although she mentioned she spoke to Wendy about my case in the morning with enough time to call me and explain prior to my arrival at 3:45 pm. Not only was she incompetent but it seemed as though she didnt clearly understand what was being said to her since I clearly had to ask several times if she understood, the look on her face was that of someone whom was lost. She didnt allow the consultation to happen after my co pay had been paid and my insurance taken for billing purposes. I clearly didnt have the experience I expected and nor do I recommend you come here. Unprofessionalism at it's best. I also disbelieve what experience this surgeon may have because his advertisement is misleading as I made them aware about prior to leaving. I suggest you take your business elsewhere and do research to make sure you're doing business with a legit office and that the doctor can actually provide the services he advertises. In my eyes total fail experience. Giving this office one star because they dont allow minus 1000!! read more

Indeed you never forget your traumatic experiences. Before the advent of yelp when I was in my 20's I went for consultation with this doctor for breast augmentation because I live close to his office. Let me just say that this man is the harshest, most unkind and most insensitive doctor I've met. I left the office with my self esteem lower than ever and the nerve of his assistant to send me quotes and pamphlets.
