My family and I went to Soccer City Lewisville after one of my son's game Saturday 19 August. We were greeted as soon as we walked in by multiple staff and the owner. It is a very nice and clean shop. I am from Abilene and the soccer gear options are kind of slim so we took advantage of the opportunity to get a few things while we were at Soccer City Lewisville. Mr. Brown helped my son get the cleats he was interested in and dropped some great knowledge bombs along the way. My son ended up getting a pair that Mr. Brown thought my son might like. He had my son do a couple of things to get a solid feel for the cleats and had him dropped the ball around for a bit. The owner(which I'm totally blanking on his name, he played for the Iranian national team back in the day) even passed the ball back and forth with my son. Mr Brown also pointed out that my son's shin guards were too big for him so I got him the proper size. Then the owner helped size my son for proper goalkeeping gloves and explained how the gloves should fit him. I had bought gloves for my son online but they were a bit too big for him so we will save those for when he glows a little more. I highly recommend going to this store they will go above and beyond to help you out. Plus they do military discounts for all the military folks out there on top of there already reasonable prices. I don't know where to start this review besides I am HIGHLY disappointed in the actions of the store owner after being a life long shopper in this store. After shopping at his store for the last 15 years of my life he had the audacity to get mad at me for coming in and not buying anything. He said that the last couple times I came in I tried stuff on and didn't buy, which is true, but that is because he didn't have the cleats that I was looking for. This time I simply tried on one pair of shoes that were tennis court shoes, not even soccer shoes, and the gentlemen that helped me got them for me and went to help others (as expected). Not only that, but the shoes I was trying on had been sitting in their inventory since 2022 according to his employee because they aren't shoes any soccer player is looking for. Ali claimed that I was being rude to other customers by making them wait and wasting his employees time....there was about 20+ people in there buying things for the 30 minutes I was in there but wants to get upset when I don't buy anything? For the entirety of shopping here I've done nothing but buy high end boots (normally around $300) and refer people to his store. I never shop online and have waited countless times for stuff to come into his store so that I can buy it and support his business. I have done nothing but be loyal to his store for the last 15 years of me playing, but he wanted to to flat out be rude in front of other customers and was completely uncalled for. I'm extremely disappointed in Ali's actions today and there is a good chance that he just lost a shopper who had been supporting him throughout his entire soccer career. There is no reason to be mad at a customer for not purchasing something when they came in for a product YOU DON'T HAVE IN YOUR INVENTORY. Is it really a bad thing that after not having what I want I found something else I was possibly going to buy? He could've made $400+ on shoes and cleats (when they got them) but after comments like that he made nothing. He treated me with awful customer service as if I had never shopped here before and or come in all the time and never buy anything (which shouldn't even be an issue in the first place). I work retail so I understand people looking and not buying, that's how you drive any customer away from your store next time. read more

Ali was amazing. My 12 year old son has never played sports and decided he wanted to play soccer. I went to the local Academy Sports and bought a pair of cleats in his size....they were "too tight". Went back and bought a pair 1/2 size bigger. They were "too tight". He was ready to give up, I was frustrated. Was this how they were supposed to fit? I had no idea. A friend suggested a pair of Adidas for wide feet, $150+. But, I wanted to encourage the interest in athletics so was ready. They were sold out everywhere online. Searched for a local "soccer store", nearest was Soccer City, but there was no way to check inventory online. My son and I arrived as soon as they opened. They had the Adidas! But, Ali, brought out several pairs and took an hour+ to work with my son to find the right shoe for him....the final pair were $80.00. He could have had us in and out in 5 minutes with a much larger sale, but he took the time to work with a shy kid, kick the ball, and encourage his interest in the sport. Soccer City does not feel like a retail store. The genuine love for the sport is evident and exudes a warmth that is hard to describe. This is our go to place and has been for many years. I had bought my son a new pair prior to his starting his Junior year in HS but the Copas started falling apart due to turf, grass, and being leather not able to dry fully between use. I did not have my receipt, it was less than 60 days but I did have the exact day, and price paid from my credit card statement to look it up. Granted this was an absolute exception and Ali was very understanding plus educated us prior to giving us a full refund that we applied to a new pair of Adidas Nemeziz. REFREE BEWARE!! I was in a hurry so I bought 2 pro style long sleeve jerseys in the new style. 1 yellow and 1 green at Soccer City in Lewisville TX instead of ordering from Official Sports. I though since they were an official reseller be responsible like Official Sports is. Oh was I wrong!!! After wearing the yellow for one match and only during the match not to the match or home from the match it piqued and had snags all over the front of it. I took I back it back to soccer City to be replaced and was treated like it was my fault he sold me a defective product. Now I have to send it back to Official Sports to have it replaced - I could have just ordered from them in the first place but I wanted to support a local business. These guys don't stand behind what they sell so don't give them your hard earned money! read more

One of the employees (Sean) helped us buy a new pair of turf shoes today for our daughter and was great! Purchased name and numbering for a jersey from them. Charged me $43 after taxes for it, which is about half the jersey price. Told me it would take a week and a half to get it back, no problem. Never received notification the jersey was ready. I called them and they said it was ready, great. Get to the store and pick up the jersey. Get home and look at it. Notice the spacing for the name is horrible and they also left out an accent over a C i asked for. So basically have a wonderful jersey with a second hand name and numbering. Half tempted to just throw away the jersey and never return to the store again. Thanks for a horrible experience. As of 8/12/16 i went into the store to get a refund for the less than perfect job they did with my jersey. I walk into the store and begin having a conversation with the "owner or manager." He then proceeds to examine the jersey for any issues. After looking it over he proceeds to tell me what he sees wrong with the jersey. Telling me that he would consider sending me a refund but since i "burned him" with a review on google he wont act like an adult. Then he mentions that he left me a text message telling me the jersey was available on the 9th. He sent the wrong person the message then proceeded to blame me for not being patient for 3 days. I tell him that i wouldn't have purchased the lettering if he would have mentioned they don't do accents for names. Then he tells me that i never told him i wanted it. I wrote down the name with the accent over the C and told him i wanted it. Then proceeds to tell me its my fault for it. If you are looking for a soccer place in the lewisville area with horrible costumer service then you found it! Can't be beat! Refusing to own up to his mistake and refund me the ridiculous price to put a name and number onto a jersey. I may never get the $43 back but even if one person reads this post before going to the store i think it can help me cause. Don't make the mistake i made. If he cared at all about his business, he would've tried to make it right the first time to avoid any bad reviews. read more

We have been coming here for over 5yrs. and tried to return some cleats at least 2 times. Both times they have given us a very hard time. This last time we bought 100.00 pair of cleats that my daughter wore 1x and they would not return them nor give us store credit as what the receipt states. We wanted to just exchange them for a bigger size. My daughter called in and they stated they had it, however, when we got there and they found out we wanted to exchange, guess what, no size available. With the money that we spend on soccer, my family deserves better customer service than that. As far as buying shoes, if you know your size you can go online and buy them cheaper or there are better soccer stores in the dfw area with the same selection. Sales they always seem to bring out a more expensive pair than what you have chosen and try and sell that one. The new staff they hired, is a joyful of customer service as well. Like I said earlier for the amount of money we spend we will not be shopping at this store again based on the customer service. read more
