We went to the Easter brunch which had an activity table for the kids, a brunch buffet, photo op with the easter bunny, an egg hunt and time to play in their play area. My son was really afraid of the easter bunny but the owners were so nice and helped us reassure him the bunny wouldn't come near. They gave him a bag of eggs since he was too afraid to participate. We really appreciate that they saw my son was having a hard time and tried to help give him a fun experience. The food was tasty, the space is very clean, and I would absolutely come back. Definitely recommend

Super friendly staff! Clean and perfect place for kiddos! Highly recommend! Didn't try food or drinks but everything looked great!

We were here for a relative's first year birthday party; every child, every adult, every in-between the above had a great time. There are other places that offer climbing, sliding, balancing, play house set-ups but somehow, even with the same kind of play equipment, the kids of all ages & even some adults kept playing & playing, climbing, sliding, using dolls, pillows, kid-sized cottages & more & it was great to experience. Meanwhile, because this was quite the bash for the parents throwing the party, there was an excellent & varied catered lunch (kudos to the on-site chef who did a phenomenal job & worked tirelessly, as did the beverage-making & food-serving staff), ALL kinds of drinks available (also @ extra cost ) such as fruit smoothies, flavored coffees, lattes, cappuccino, wine, & more; they even offer champagne flights here! The charcuterie arrangement was like a still life it was so beautiful, decorations around the cake & dessert table were spot on & the hosts absolutely loved them. Kids' lunch plates for chock-filled with veggies, man & cheese & chicken nuggets. I know that this is an expensive place for a party, not sure if the play space is available for non-parties, but we would definitely recommend that others check it out &/or have a gathering here.

First of all, i LOVE... WE love this place!!! The place is always clean, and spotless! The toys and play area are also always clean. I also love that there is a cafe here for drinks and food for adults AND children. I highly reccomend the iced ube latte. It is to die for. Everyone, and i mean everyone is so super friendly. You have to make a reservation for 2hr play, and it's per child. This is my 4th time coming here and one time I came to get some work done, and it was so awesome to be able to sit and watch your child within view while also being able to sit, eat and do work! It is so open that you litterally can see everything your child is doing. My kids are 2&3 but I only brought my 3 year old during the time where I needed to do some work and he litterally was within view the whole time! There are so many fun toys. So many sensory toys as well for my autistic son to enjoy! There are also puzzles, books and blocks which we also loved! Can't wait to come back for the ube latte! I mean, the playhouse! Hehe!

Absolutely love this place! Our kids have a great time! Their food, drinks and coffees are delicious! We love that we are big to sit back enjoy soemthing to eat/drink and keep an eye on our kiddos. Definitely thinking of hosting their bday party there. Playground is so clean and well maintained. Staff is so helpful as well! Our kids can make a big mess when eating so as I got down to clean up after them staff came right over said no worries and cleaned it up.

We recently hosted our daughter's 1st birthday party at Social Playhaus in June. I was on the fence about leaving a negative review but after following up with Marc and Jenni and being very disappointed with our experience, I found it necessary to give others insight. We were really excited to host our daughter's birthday party at Social Playhaus because of what they had to offer -- not only was there a play area for the children but there was also an area for the adults to socialize, drink and eat. Despite this, there were several areas where Marc & Jenni fell short. Prior to the event, Marc had reached out to me via email to let me know that he'd be calling me the week of 5/23 or early the following week to discuss details. After sending 2 emails and still not hearing back from him, I decided to call him myself to try to hash out the details. I guess that was the first red flag... We went with their platinum party package (starts at $2500 + 20% admin fee). Their platinum package includes extra themed decor, themed decor and tableware on children's. Food and drinks are additional. We spent about $4300. We went with ice cream theme for our celebration. The "extra" themed decor... was lacking. Besides the ice cream plates I had requested for for the children's table, the only other ice cream decor were some balloons on the photo wall. I thought the balloon garlands were done well. But other than that, there didn't seem to be much thought or effort put into the "theme decor" The ice cream plate taped over the donut board showed minimal effort at best.  With their package, you'll receive cupcakes for each child. The cupcake frosting was hard, an indication that they were not fresh. My friend had made some cupcake toppers for the cupcakes. We had to really push hard to get the toppers in. Another one of my guest told me that when she accidentally dropped the cupcake in the parking lot, the frosting didn't even change form! Included in the package, you'll also receive a donut board with 2 dozen assorted donuts - the donuts also didn't look very appetizing. A guest told me they tasted stale. The party favors that were placed on the children's tables were sunglasses that looked like they were leftovers from a previous party. They kept falling apart whenever the kids tried to put them on. My mom was desperately trying to just put pieces of the sunglasses back on for my daughter. A few of our guests did not get to eat the chicken francese and eggplant parm because the trays weren't replenished in a timely manner, they had thought the food had run out.  We had high expectations when we chose Social Playhaus as the venue to host our daughter's first birthday celebration. Sadly, what was expected wasn't delivered. And what we paid certainly did not match the quality of the desserts/decor/favors we received.  After speaking to Jenni, she offered to comp our tickets to a future events of theirs. But with all due respect and honesty, after our experience, why would we want to come back? There were aspects of the party that felt like they wanted to spend as little as possible... such as dum dum pops at the dessert table. Jenni said if I had said something during the event then they would have been able to remedy the situation then... but how can you expect us to hash out details DURING the event while we are attending to guests or our kids? Are you really going to replace the cupcakes and donuts with fresh ones? Put some more decorations on the donut boards? Put out new favors during the event?

Refreshing Play Place. Social Play Haus is an indoor play place with soaring ceilings. There's an repurposed industrial hipster-ish vibe here. It feels like it belongs in Brooklyn. I'd recommend this play for small children. There are several different sub areas in the play place which may keep your child from being bored. The play area feels clean and safe. There are many picnic tables available in the space. They offer a few food items, such as French toast sticks, flatbread and chicken sandwiches. The food tastes like most of the items come out of a box. The chicken cutlet in the sandwich almost certainly isn't made fresh but screams processed patty to me. The beer on tap on the other hand is extremely cold and refreshing. Overall this place is worth a visit with a family with toddlers. Don't expect to be blown away by the food, and the prices aren't cheap either. However, the staff have been consistently friendly and accommodating. Where else can you watch your toddler have fun while drinking a nice cold beer at 10am? It's a breath of fresh air for thirsty parents and toddlers.

Amazing small business run by incredible people. Let it be known, I do not have a kid, BUT I come here for the truly delicious food & drinks. The owners are truly in a class of their own. They posted on their social media today about their affogatos - and I RAN (ok, I drove haha) and it did not disappoint! Everyone, PLEASE go support this place! Whether you have kids or not - these are the kinds of spaces we NEED in our community!

Pros: Lovely spot for you kiddo to play and get some energy out. There's beer, wine and coffee as well as some semi gourmet offerings. I really liked the vibe, very cool industrial Manhattan. My daughter loved running around and there's a plexiglass gate to keep the kids in. Food was good we had the chicken nuggets and the goat cheese pizza. Cons: the space also caters to adults in the industrial area for lunch and dinner. You don't need a child to enter the area, meaning any adult can come in and watch the kids. With the way the world is... I'm not a fan of that and it's not something I can not mention. Also we paid extra for our adults online... did we have to do that if we could have just come in to eat? That needs some clarification. Also the kids meals come with a side of baby carrots, which is a toddler choking hazard. A different side suggestion would be nice, maybe cut up apples? I would have loved to have my daughters birthday here, but keeping in mind that any adult without a child can walk in... I'll have to pass.

The reviews didn't lie! This is such a wonderful and unique idea and greatly executed. It's basically half beer garden and play area for kids. My son had a great time playing and exploring, while I was able to hang back and drink my iced chai latte and contemplate getting a beer at 11 in the morning (it's 5 o clock somewhere right?). The only problem is that it's so hard to get a play spot since it's so popular! Definitely recommend to anyone who loves family time. Caters to all.

I especially like the fact that while I've never been here on a weekend day, the place is never overly crowded or hectic. Other places close by can get pretty packed and chaotic. Having said that, there are some things that could use improvement. For one, get a vacuum cleaner that can make the carpets appear clean. There is always so much lint and debris on the carpet, it seems they don't attempt to clean them. I asked one of the nice girls who work there about it and she said they do try but apparently the fabric of the carpet wont let go of the fuzz. I'd get that one figured out quick if it was my place. Not the end of the world, to be sure, but an easy fix that should be addressed. On the plus side, there is so much to keep a toddler/youngster occupied. Two hours in here and you're sure to get a good nap from your little one. Plenty of bouncy houses for jumping and climbing will get them tired and exercised. At the end of the first hour when they've been on everything at least twice, they move the cart holding your belongings to another side and there are all new adventures waiting for your little one. More bouncing and a couple of arcade-style games and a nerf cannon section. Watch for specials- you can save a few bucks when they run a multi-trip offer. I recently saw a five-trip for $25. Thats an awesome deal in anyone's book. The website clearly and easily leads you to the date and the open-play times. Easy.... super easy.... Some of their competitors can take a lesson on "ease of use" web sites from them. Overall, we will make our way back often when I get a day off from work or when the weather isn't taylor-made for out of doors activities. I just hope they can get a vacuum for the floor. Best of luck to them and we will see them again soon.

I was invited to join a birthday party and it pretty much went down hill as soon as I entered the parking lot and didn't find any parking spots. I parked out on the street as a result. The slides and the bouncy castles were ok, the kids seemed to have fun with them but that seemed to be the only thing was matched expectations. There was just one mini tandem basketball hoop that was not inflated properly that had a super soft rim. Shots kept bouncing off the soft rim as a result. At all the other Pump It Ups I've been to there was an larger sized inflated version with larger sized basketballs. This one also had a piece in the back where you three tennis balls that was supposed to have a radar gun tracking the speed of the throws against a backdrop of a catcher and hitter. The radar piece didn't work and there was only one or two tennis balls to throw. In the second room, there was a soft air pitching machine hat you feed styrofoam balls into. Needless to say, there was only about 10 balls for 4 of these machines. That's just really sad. Watching the Pump It Up team feed the kids with pizza stacked up in one hand from the counter and dumping the pizza on plates at the table with the other hand was pretty gosh darned unimpressive. I'd never recommend coming back here and I'd probably recommend to the host not to as well.

It's important to note that the entrance is located at 133rd Place. The (free) parking is by the Whitepoint Shopping Center but there is not an entrance from there. I did see some younger kids there during our visit, but I personally think it might be a waste of money to take them. Both the go-kart and arcade games are probably too old for them so the only place for younger kids to play is the playground area. During our visit, it was not at all crowded so there was practically no wait time for the Go-Kart or any of the arcades. The staff were really friendly, and a couple spoke Spanish. This place is definitely a good option if you're looking for something to do indoors.
