    Tamale Plate with Christmas.

Food was amazing! I had the tamale plate with the Christmas. Very very good! Everyone was very friendly with great service. Would definitely eat here again if passing through.

    Honey. Everywhere!!!!

Amazing food, amazing staff. I've never had a bad meal. I love the tacos, but also the steak, and the chips and salsa. The sopapillas are made with yeast and are spectacular. I ate two on the way home to Taos and arrived, dripping with honey, but absolutely content. I only wish we lived in Hernández.... Love you Ms. Socorro and your beautiful food!!!

    Combo plate heaven.

Very nice atmosphere and cool decor at Socorro's. I ordered the combo plate and it came with plenty to eat. Service was on point and the ladies are nice and attentive. I'm giving it two up and shall return when I'm in the area again. I'm glad they're around for business.

Great handheld breakfast burritos. I got the red chili bacon. I'm sure the green is even better. Quick turnaround too.

That kind of hospitality makes the whole meal feel elevated. I had Le Flor, a gorgeous pink gin and elderflower cocktail that was as lovely as it was refreshing. The mussels with green sauce and dipping bread were an absolute must-order -- we could have made a meal out of that alone. The mango gazpacho with honey drizzle was bright, unexpected, and delicious. We also loved the chicken thigh skewers, which were flavorful and tender without being fatty, served with a beautiful yogurt smudge on the plate. The grilled eggplant with capers and manchego was another favorite, and the jamón croquettes were crisp, savory perfection. Creative food, thoughtful service, and a warm Santa Fe atmosphere. La Boca is the kind of place you leave already thinking about what you'll order next time.

I ordered number 2 to pair with my (incredible) FRENCH ONION SOUP If you have that on your menu I have to try it but this was truly exceptional ! Following that I had the New York Strip. Medium rare. GREAT but I did ask for a side of Green Chile. And Garlic Aioli for the potatoes Nicely cooked but I added some salt and chile to make it pop my taste buds. YES. I would order it again the same way The Pork Chop looked great as well Desert was also very good. Our first visit was on a Monday night, and our server was fantastic. Forgive me for not remembering her name. I should have saved the receipt. As starters we ordered the bacon wrapped dates and the bruschetta. They allow you to choose four different toppings for each piece of bruschetta which is really nice because all the toppings sound so good. To drink, I had the minimal intervention wine flight, and my husband had the hatch green chili margarita. I enjoyed my flight, especially the Chenin Blanc, but can't lie, I was a little envious when my husband's margarita arrived! The bacon wrapped dates were tasty per usual, but the bruschetta was outstanding! We did not finish the bruschetta because we also had an entree coming, the Pasta New Mexico. It was everything you want pasta to be with a good kick from the hatch chili and red pepper flakes. We left fat and happy! Later that same week we came back on a Friday night, and it was hopping. It looked like there were two major big parties happening which initially concerned us that we might not make it out on time for our event that evening. However, we believe our server got our order to the kitchen before putting in the big one! Yay! And our order was the same as Monday night because we enjoyed it so much. The only thing different was my drink. I got that hatch green chili margarita, and it was super refreshing! Our food came out of the kitchen at a decent time, but we did notice that the bread on the bruschetta lacked the toasted/grilled texture that it had on our first visit. Maybe the kitchen pushed it out too fast or there was a different chef that night. It was still edible but not outstanding like it was the first time. Like most places, it is slower at the beginning of the week and very busy come the weekend which likely affects the quality of what you get. But overall, I think it's a solid place to drink/dine. If I get the chance to visit this city again, I will definitely come back.

Hmmm...food was not as impressive as the first time. This…read morewas our second time at Sazon--my partner brought me here for a surprise birthday dinner. The atmosphere is upscale and beautiful--love the decor and artwork. The service was on point; our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food this time was just ok, except for the Sopa de Amor: Chef Olea's signature soup--that was heaven in our mouths. The steak (Popocatepetl: spicy black pepper crusted aged angus beef tenderloin / red cabbage and snow peas in cilantro vinaigrette / jasmine rice) we shared looked nothing like the description. Either our server was clueless regarding gluten-free, because this wasn't up to our standards for a high-end restaurant--the flavor wasn't the same as we remembered from several years ago, and the steak (medium rare) inside was colder--not room temperature, so I ended up not eating all of mine. Plus we had to ask for rice--which should have come with our meal since there isn't flour or any ingredients that would have made this harmful to me. Also, the side of asparagus it came with wasn't bright green and crispy--it was yellowish and flimsy-looking and tasting. For the price, this should have been more on point than what it was. We had split a steak, shared a soup, had a bottle of wine, two glasses of champagne, and a dessert--oh, and a $12 split change (something they suggested--even though my partner and I were fine eating from the same plate)...the bill was almost $400 with tax & tip. The dessert however, was presented beautifully with mixed berries and a liquor which was then lit on fire--a festive dessert option since I have a gluten allergy. There are so many wonderful restaurants. Unfortunately, the food did not leave us craving to come back for more. If the service and decor wasn't so impressive, Sazon would have received one stars.

For a drink I had the fresh tamarind which was lightly sweetened and refreshing. The lamb was mild and benefited from a touch of salt, according to my companion. The beberé was sweetened by the sweet potato and probably my favorite of the three. The phyllo was exceptionally good! The table hot sauce has a chili and vinegar kick but is not particularly spicy. The burger was solid also, with high quality sharp cheddar. I liked the slight crunch of onions in the patty. The fish of the day - grouper with a green olive pesto inspired sauce was wonderful. The octopus appetizer was a huge miss - not enough octopus, and way too much rice, mayo, and sweet sauce. It was Japanese takoyaki meets Mediterranean octopus but the result was too "street food" at an upscale price. Service was rushed. Seemed like maybe they were understaffed for the night? I ordered my glass of wine and the server rushed off before my husband could decide on his beer. He rattled off the two specials without mentioning the prices (a little annoying). We asked what were the standout or favorite entrees and he responded with the 3 most expensive options. I'm not worried about the price, but I'm always skeptical if the favorite dishes are always the priciest ones.
