So been coming here for quite a while now. Reasons? One of the best sound systems for karaoke anywhere. I mean ANYWHERE! The people are super friendly and cool and know that on Thur, Fri, Sat, it's karaoke time and they're into it! The bartenders pour a great drink and the prices are fair. They will hook you up with your favorite libation. The owners Robert & Shannon know their business and their customers and they put there all into it. Absolutely love this place for karaoke. There is a huge variety of songs to choose from and the vibe is always fun. It never gets too packed which makes it way more enjoyable than other spots around town. The bartenders are super friendly and make great drinks. I wanted to like this place, but after my experience this past weekend, I won't be coming back--and I hope the owner takes notice. My friend and I stopped by to play pool and have a few drinks. I ordered a few beer, and my friend had a gin cocktail. While we were at the bar, three different people we met generously bought us drinks. Specifically a few tequila shots--each ordering and paying for their round while we were all there together. When it was time to close out, the bartender, Michelle, tried to charge me for those three shots, even though they had already been paid for. I calmly explained that I was happy to pay for what I personally ordered but wouldn't cover drinks that others had already purchased. Instead of handling the situation professionally, she immediately got defensive, started yelling, and insisted she was right. She even said she'd check the cameras--something I welcomed--but rather than resolving the issue, she kept escalating and ultimately kicked us out. Frankly, this felt intentional, as if she assumed we were too intoxicated to notice the extra charges. Owner, is this really how you want your bar to operate? A place where customers have to worry about being scammed by the staff? After leaving, we went to another bar where multiple people mentioned they'd had similar experiences with this bartender. That says a lot. Bottom line: Beware of shady business practices here, especially if you're a woman. I won't be back. read more

I have been coming to Sodini's regularly now for almost 3 years and always have a great time! The owners, bartenders and patrons are always very welcoming. In fact, I have gained a little family there that I'm super grateful for especially now that I have little to no family of my own left. There's lots of regulars that frequent every week that I always appreciate seeing and I've made a lot of great friends here and even met my love. Definitely a special place for me! My gfs and I went to Sodini's for the first time last weekend. By the time we left, we had made friends with their incredible friendly staff. Michele, our bartender was awesome. She was funny, laid-back, had a good sense of humor and all around just a nice person. Later, Kat (another bartender) came, who was equally as nice and friendly. There's a pool table. we played connect four and listened to the jukebox, while waiting for karaoke to start. The karaoke DJ was fun and nice too. You could tell that this bar has a lot of regulars. Best karaoke in the bay in my experience! Robert has a great sound system and vast song selection. The bartenders are on point--you always feel taken care of when you come to Sodini's.
