I put off Wedding dress shopping as long as I could because I have NEVER felt beautiful in a dress! Sofia Bella Bridal was the third place I went to on this day and I walked in with no hope of finding my dress. The shop was cute and intimate, The ladies there were very welcoming, they asked what I was looking for (I still didn't know) I showed them what I didn't like and a couple I kind of liked. They walked to the back and brought out a few for me to try. I tried on the 2nd dress (they completely help you get dressed unlike other places I went to) and I was in tears! I have never felt so Beautiful. They worked with me to make a few changes, but that meant remaking the whole dress. Lucky I went in with just enough time to get it back before my day, they kept me updated during the process and made sure it was ready on time, and all still under my budget. When I went back to pick up my dress I came with a large group, they made sure there was room and seating for everyone. I went there last month to inquire if they do/have dresses for a 50th anniversary celebrant. They treated us (my mom and I) like we were not good enough for the store, granted we were dressed in sweatpants and t shirts. They recommended a store at del amo - Glizty. That's like a hand me down type of shop. Those ladies that work there, imo, seemed racist and were profiling us - Filipinos. I would not even give them a star. I had the best experience ever at Sofia Bella and would absolutely recommend it to others. The consultants were great at choosing a variety of beautiful dresses, all of which I loved. They were so attentive and helpful and were also very accommodating. My man of honor (who lives out of town) surprised me at the last minute by joining me, my mother, my mother-in-law (to be), and my maid of honor, which meant that we had one more guest than I originally stated that we would have when my maid of honor booked the appointment. When we arrived (which was also 20 min early because we were coming from LA and afraid of hitting traffic), they didn't seem to mind at all and just welcomed all of us and grabbed an extra chair. I especially loved their way of doing the dressing room in the same space as the reveal - it was a very clever design that made the process much easier than going back and forth to a dressing room. It also made for a very dramatic reveal with the opening of the curtain, which felt very fun and exciting. I should mention that I also found the dress of my dreams (and a stunning veil) within a relatively modest budget and they were able to get the dress in time for my wedding in May without any rush charges. Such a cute store and I love how they have it divided up into the changing/viewing areas. Valerie and team were super helpful. Somehow Valerie understood all my little random notes on what I thought I wanted, and pulled some of the most beautiful dresses for me to try on. I fell in love with one of the dresses, which was one I would have never expected or would have pulled for myself. Highly recommend their dresses and their customer service. Cindy and Valerie are a perfect team - with a small description, they seem to know exactly what you are looking for in a dream dress, and seem to know what each other is thinking! We walked right in on a friend's referral, no appointment, and were immediately welcomed. Valerie and my daughter chatted a bit about likes/dislikes and within 10 minutes, Valerie returned with a rack of half a dozen choices. My daughter walked out with a smile and a beautiful dress that will need very minimal fine tuning. The entire process was enjoyable as well as entertaining and I can't wait to share pictures after the "date". My advice: skip all the "big ticket" stores with little customer service skills. What a GEM!! With canceled appointments at other shops, all the craziness these last few months, and my wedding in December I was starting to realize I wouldn't get the normal bridal experience. Not only was I able to make an appointment with both my mom and sister but the entire process was fabulous from start to finish. They have a homey feel from the second you step in the door and the ladies made me feel so comfortable. I had no idea what I wanted so I was looking to try on a lot. They never made me feel like I was taking up their time, being indecisive or asking for too many dresses. I was feeling great about what I tried on but needed to digest what I truly liked- and then they brought out the ONE. This dress is everything I liked all in one. They listened to me and didn't push me into a certain direction; and BAM delivered the dream dress I didn't even know I needed. The even had the dress in my size at their warehouse and could be there in a few days. They even met me on a Monday (they are usually closed) for me to pick up my dress.
