Heard lots of good things about Lucciano's, so the family decided to check it out. Here are my thoughts: Atmosphere was spacious & comfortable. We sat at the bar and loved the nice wide surface....lots of real estate for drinks and food. Our drinks were excellent as well as our bartenders: Eric & Matt. They were professional, prompt and personable! Appetizers were very tasty...Zucchini Sticks & Calamari Entrees were also very tasty with good presentation...Eggplant & Chicken Parmigiana, Grilled Salmon with seasoned veggies and a Caesar salad with steak tips. As far as deserts...,yikes what an impressive selection to pick from! We didn't get any so My wife and daughter shared a nice red wine, I had an Old Fashioned and my daughter's boyfriend had a Peroni. Cost wise we spent some money But for what we got it was totally worth it! Overall a very enjoyable experience, so Yup we will be back. Give Lucciano's a try & Enjoy! read more

Met a few friends for dinner at Lucciano's Cafe. It was a busy Friday night and there were no tables available, but we were able to get 4 corner seats at the bar. We all had some cocktails-several Margaritas for me that were delicious! I had the Swordfish Steak Dinner that came with a healthy portion of seasonal vegetables that were good just right. The fish was tender and complimented with house made dill sauce. We were not rushed at all and received excellent service from James. Recommended without hesitation. read more

Celiac dream! This is such a great spot if you're gluten free. The gluten free dinner rolls were amazing, they don't fall apart at all and they're soft! Highly recommend! Also the breading on both the gluten free tenders and the gluten free mozzarella sticks is out of this world! The breading stays on and doesn't come off in huge chunks like most gluten free breading I've experienced! I had the gluten free tortellini as an entree and that also was so amazing! Couldn't leave without getting some baked goods, everything is so beautiful but I especially love those gluten free Swiss rolls! Service was good but the food was terrible not even close to good Italian food I had the veal parmigiana and it was tough no taste and the gravy was watery my wife had the chicken piccata and it was not good loaded with capers and doused with sauce only good thing was the dessert and that was $15 I would not eat there again read more

It's been almost a month since Lucciano's Cafe hosted their adorable Valentine's Day pop-up booth in Boston and I'm *still* thinking about all the amazing gluten-free treats that I was able to try from there!! I definitely went a little bit overboard and indulged in almost everything they had to offer: -tiramisu: this is my favorite dessert of all-time and I can count on one hand the number of times I've been able to eat this since getting my celiac diagnosis... this was a no-brainer buy for me! It was creamy and decadent and my favorite out of all the treats, truly no notes - 100/10 recommend! thank me later :) -cupcake sampler box: this was $24 and contained 4 different flavors, which I thought was a really great idea to allow people to try multiple flavors without spending as much on their full-sized cake jars. the box contained a funfetti, a red velvet cookies and cream (literally genius since I've never seen anyone else combine these two crowd-favorite flavors), a hostess-fudge-inspired one, and a strawberry shortcake. All the cake textures were amazingly light and fluffy (truly tasted like a gluten-filled!!! batter lol) and I honestly enjoyed the cakes even more than the frostings. Some of the frostings were a little bit overly sweet and buttery for my liking, but they all still paired really well with their actual cakes! My favorite of the box was definitely the strawberry shortcake - it was filled with a delicious jam and I loved how it was topped off with some sort of almost-sour strawberry power which contrasted really well -swiss rolls: this was such a nostalgic treat to buy, but they're definitely dense - one roll lasted me several days! again, the texture of the cake roll was truly amazing and I didn't realize this when I first bought it but I ended up grabbing a box with their peanut-butter cream filled rolls instead of the original! The peanut butter flavor was a little bit light imo. The outer chocolate shell was also quite hard and when I shared the rolls with my friends, they weren't the biggest fan of just how hard the shell was, but I personally didn't mind it at all! -last but not least, I also got their seasonal heart cakes to sample. this was my second favorite out of my huge haul - their vanilla cake was so sweet and light and you could literally see the darker vanilla bean speckled throughout the batter, which just highlights the quality of the ingredients that they use to make their pastries. The cream in between was perfectly balanced and the overall frosting decoration was beyond perfect for Valentine's Day I literally went to this pop-up twice within the week that they were open and they were so kind to give me a free cookie during my re-visit, which like everything else, was super tasty and honestly I felt like the thick layer of frosting on top was a bit unnecessary because the actual cookie was chewy and perfectly chocolate-y and indulgent all on its own. Needless to say, I am a huge, huge, huge!!! fan of Lucciano's baked goods and I'm so sad that their pop-up was temporary but beyond grateful I was able to try their treats in person. read more

I hate to have to update and downgrade my review, but I won't be back. Excellent food, excellent gf options, poor customer service. I was delighted to find Luccianos last year and had several positive experiences. However, I won't be back after my last visit. I have many allergies and was understanding from prior engagement that the chicken parm was OK for me. During my last visit, I was told they are cooked in the same fryer as some allergens. I asked if they could pan fry it and was told no. I asked the waitress other questions she had to go back to the kitchen about. I thought someone from the kitchen may come speak with me, but they didn't. I also didn't get answers to the questions I asked. I easily get overwhelmed and emotional about food accommodations, especially when I thought I had already done my research and it doesn't work out. I ordered something I knew was safe and figured I'd try to reach out to the restaurant later to understand what was safe for me. My father got chicken Marsala and substituted bolognese sauce. He loved his meal, but was challenged by the amount of water in the sauce and a $6.95 up charge for the substituted sauce that he wasn't consulted about. My mother got a fish sandwich and thought it was awful. It looked like a tiny, frozen filet o fish served on a giant bun. I did feel bad for her. A few weeks later she told me about the negative email she sent to the owners about our experience. She did not get a response. From her description, I felt like her email detailed a harsher experience than we faced so I wrote one from my perspective. Mainly, I wanted to be able to know what I could eat long-term. Tina, the owner, never actually made any comments about the negative experience but told me she would call me that Tuesday (1/9) to discuss allergies. She did not call. I followed up 1/22 and 2/14 without response. 2/25 I replied to note that it shouldn't take this much effort to understand what is safe to eat and wished the business luck. She immediately replied to tell me that I could reach out to her that Thursday or Friday to discuss (5-7 days later). No one should have to put so much effort into feeling safe about their meal. Had a reservation Thursday night at 7, husband and I got in around 650 and mentioned we knew we were early but if we could possibly be seated first we were surprising the other two guests in our party... both of the hosts were extremely strange about it and even made a comment as we were seated "since you're so early your server won't be over for a while because she was just sat another party" my husband and I didn't mind because we weren't in any sort of rush. Fast forward to 710/715... we were greeted...ordered our drinks right away and requested bread. We didn't receive our bar items until 740, without bread. We then asked agaain for bread as our server was busy and may have forgotten. The birthday girl in our group ordered a red sangria that she gets/loves every time she visits Luccianos. She took a sip because she said it didn't look normal, she mentioned it and sent it back. She was then given the same one 10 mins later and was told they aren't offering regular sangria only the fall harvest Sangria-- which would have been nice to know before ordering because she would have gotten something different. Especially since they aren't advertising any fall cocktails on their drink menu. When she finally got her new drink we all wanted to order since it was already 8 pm. Our food was delivered shortly after. The most frustrating part of our experience was that when we were originally seated... the dining room was pretty vacant besides one other large party... slowly tables filled in around us and every other table was greeted, ordered/delivered drinks and appetizers & dinner before we even ordered. It was even funnier because the table beside us was extremely needy to the point that he actually had the pleasure of meeting the chef/owner who then bought them a bottle of wine. Meanwhile, we couldn't even get the round of drinks that we ordered. Honestly, it's not really the fault of our server- but just poorly ran service overall. Our server had tables, inside, on both ends of the dining room and outside on the patio. There is no way to properly give attentive service in that square footage when you're busy. Had a good lunch visit with my mom yesterday. The greek salad here is very good with tons of feta. This greek salad blows Amphora out of the water. No Pepperoncinis was a surprise. The place was a ghost town with a few other people seated at the bar. The pizza was good but and larger than i remember from the previous location. I actually liked the house special pizza but remember the old luccianos location having a better pie. Overall id return again and my bartender was pleasant. Salads shrunk sadly. This NJ family traveled to NH and had a delicious Italian dinner at Lucciano's! Living in NJ, we're spoiled by the number of amazing Italian restaurants, but this place held it's own. The ambience is really nice here and our server was excellent. She had a great sense of humor and made sure our group of 8 had everything we needed. To start off, I had a glass of Chianti. The bread served with plates of oil was spot on. I had a real craving for chicken parmigiana and needed a nice red sauce to go with the wine. My dinner was great and I believe most others enjoyed theirs as well. While we didn't partake in desserts, the gluten free specialties in the front display case looked so good. I had tried their pizza's when they were still located on Gilcrest Rd. I had ordered 2 large pizzas with 3 to 4 toppings per pizza and they were at least 16-inch pizzas and they were the average pricing of 3 to 4 toppings pizzas at the time. I found the crust was very thick and chewy and really wasn't to my liking, so I threw them away and never went back until this past summer. I decided to try them once more at their new location and saw their specialty pizzas were 15 something for a large pie so I ordered 2 specialty pizzas. I got there early so had to wait a few minutes for my pizzas, which was fine, so I started looking at their pastries in the showcase. OMG, they looked delicious especially their cheesecake slices, so I asked how much for a slice of cheesecake. I was quoted 17 dollars and some change, almost 18 dollars for 1 slice. I was shocked at how expensive they were. Needless to say, I didn't get any of their pastries. Then both my pizzas came out. The boxes were the size of a small pizza box, but I waited until I got home and I measured the pizzas. Their large pizzas are 14 inches in diameter. I had paid almost $34 dollars for 2) 14-inch pizzas. I then tried 2 slices from each pizza. They weren't very good. They had put this weird dusting of some type of herb all over the pizzas and they didn't taste very good. The inside of the restaurant was very stylish like that of a high-class restaurant that the rich and famous would attend, while the fare was just ordinary cuisine, and the food just wasn't very good. I won't ever order anything from them again, and I wouldn't recommend eating there to anyone that is interested in good or excellent food, not even it they were to lower the pricing of their fare. Went to Luciano's. Haven't been there since they were in their last location years ago. That wasn't an earth-shattering experience then, but after all these years I thought I would give them another try. It was a weekday night, so there weren't many people in there. When I walked in, I noticed very nice interior, tables, silverware, etc. What I didn't notice was that great smell of Italian cooking. We asked for a booth. They said they did have booths, but they turned out to be a booth on one side and chairs on the other and there was another table right next to it, so not the kind of thing I had in mind. Our waitress came over and got our drink order. She came back over shortly after to get our meal order. I ordered Chicken Piccata and my husband...you guessed it Chicken Parmesan. We were served bread and oil. The bread seemed too perfect to be home made but was certainly OK. The oil...just tasted like oil. Our dinners came. Both dinners were NOT very hot. You could tell by the shredded cheese sprinkled on top of both enrtee's that never melted. Same with the pasta that was in a separate dish. My ziti was not cooked enough either and my husbands was most definitely not cooked enough as well. The chicken in my Piccata was actually mushy. And the cutlets were definitely not just sauteed. The coating was also mushy and not crispy as one would be if it was just taken out of the pan. My pasta has piccata sauce on it even though it was in a separate dish....My husband liked his first bite of the first cutlet but said the second was VERY tough. He said his pasta was pretty raw and the sauce is basically tomatoes so it didn't stick to the pasta and had no flavor whatsoever. And....most importantly for him the cutlets did not have a crispy coating and his meal was cold. Now I know why there was no Italian food smells. I certainly suspect the chicken in the meals was preprepared way ahead of time....If it was freshly cooked the coating would have been hot and crispy. Needless to say, what went back to the kitchen for me was 1 chicken cutlet and the pasta. Hubby one cutlet and his pasta. I wanted to try it. You never know how a restaurant is unless you try it. For us, we tried it, but would never return again. Nothing special, especially with Pasquale's basically across the street that is excellent. read more

Great gluten free options. Service was great, my raviolis were perfectly cooked but it's the dessert worth driving here for. My boyfriend is gluten free and we savored every bite of our GF chocolate layered cake. Didn't give it a 5 because of the limited drink menu (mostly Tito's) and my drink wasn't great. The food is absolutely amazing! The folks who work here- all of them- are so welcoming and make your day even more special by how they welcome and interact with you - super friendly, fun, and they go the extra mile. Love the italian music playing in the restaurant. I've eaten here three times and each time has been wonderful. Everything in the bakery case is Gluten Free-- every time we come in thinking we'll take something else home but it's so filling and delicious that we just say we'll come back another time. Stopped in on a Friday night at 345 with a friend. The bar had plenty of space, and was empty within 15 mins of us sitting down. Waited 20 mins for bartender to take drink order. Told her we wanted to order a meal, and waited another 10+ mins for menus. We continued to sit and wait almost an entire hour before she finally made a comment about us looking at her and to state our order while she was socializing with a patron at a high top table. To no surprise, she forgot part of our order. This employee is rude, condescending, and unprofessional. What was supposed to be a quick meal after work turned into a 2 hour ordeal with horrible service. And to make matters worse, my friend ended up with food poisoning in the middle of the night. To note, other patrons at the bar were also complaining about the horrible service. Giving one star because their desserts are at least fabulous (after waiting 10+ mins for a knife to split our dessert while again watching the bartender do nothing work related, another kind waitress was able to give us a knife) and we took it to go. read more

We went out for the first time for dinner in three months and went to the new Luccciano's, which is now at the Shaw's plaza. They have outdoor seatiing, which was only open due to the pandemic. Food was still great, large portions. Drinks always on point. I saw the inside, which is now much bigger and modern then the old location. The entire restaurant is now handicapped / wheel chair accessable. Service tonight was friendly, but slow. We had a great meal and we will be back for sure. read more

This place is an absolute joke. I Try to spend local, but they just won't have me. Went here about 3 months ago and was told we could not be seated. They were full. Dining room was not even half full. Went there tonight 5:00 PM Guess what same thing and there were only 3 tables seated. They were turning others away as well. I am in the biz and it blows my mind how you let people that want to spend money in your business walk out the door. I ask around and some People say it's lack of servers from Covid. That's a total crock. You can go across the street to the 99 and they are completely full every night and have a wait and the price point is about the same. We went for the first time Saturday and had a great experience! The only place that has gluten free mozzarella sticks and they were delish! This was also by far the best gluten free pizza I ever had I even asked to double check it was actually gluten free because it was too good to be true! I don't usually leave reviews, but I noticed that a nasty review was just left and I needed to respond. I have eaten at this restaurant many many times, and the food has always been fresh and authentic Italian. The lady who said that her drink was very expensive was told that every olive is $1.50. So if she didn't want to pay all that money, she shouldn't have ordered so many. And as far as the food, maybe she doesn't know what good Italian food really taste like. And when I see reviews like this, that actually, you can see that someone wants to ruin somebody else's livelihood, makes me so very angry! Unassuming Italian hidden gem in a strip mall in Londonderry, NH. Great service, upscale and nice for a date night or just when you feel like eating something nicer than you want to cook for yourself. Very reasonable prices. We had a party of four with no appetizers. Two seafood and two chicken entrees and four martinis and the total bill was $155.00. I think that is very reasonable. The new Lucciano's location is really impressive. Very nice atmosphere but; unfortunately, food quality hasn't improved at all. We had a large group. Two ordered Chicken Parm. This is usually a basic enough dish that I felt fairly confident ordering. WRONG. The Chicken was so dry that I had to request a Steak Knife to saw through it. The breading all peeled off while I attempted to dissect it (never a good sign). A stray Chicken Bone capped off this disastrous waste of poultry. Chicken Marsala was good but not special. Veal Parm was unappealing in appearance as it was unusually thick and dark brown in color. It was eaten but clearly not enjoyed. One Salmon dish seems to have been alright as it was fully consumed except for the accompanying vegetables. All dishes were accompanied by what appeared to be boxed Penne Pasta and basic Red Sauce. Somewhat disappointing considering the claims on their website "We use only the finest and freshest ingredients in all our meals". I actually enjoyed the Sauce but the majority went uneaten. Service was good as our Server was friendly and as efficient and attentive as her workload would permit. The Room Temperature in the area we were seated was extremely cold. We asked the Server if anything could be done. She talked to the Manager and nothing was done. Hmmmm. Overall consensus from our group of diners; Lucciano's is not recommended due to suboptimal meal preparation. read more

This was our first visit to Lucciano's new location. The restaurant is beautiful and has plentiful table and bar seating. We started with some bread and oil and the calamari appetizer. The bread was fresh and delicious. The calamari pretty average. For dinner I had the gnocchi ala romana and my husband had the veal parmigiana. Both were excellent. The serving sizes are huge, so we had enough to take home for a whole other meal. We shared the strawberry chocolate cheesecake for dessert. It was amazing. It was a huge piece, so we wound up taking the leftovers home. For cocktails we had the sled dog, winter spritz and the caramel Christmas cocktails. No complaints about any. Our server was Lyndsey N. My husband and I recently went to Lucciano's for a late lunch/early dinner. We had the crab cakes which were delicious served on a bed of mixed greens and drizzled with a mustard/dill sauce. I had chicken parm (minus the cheese) covered with sauce (2 large pieces of chicken) and a small dish of penne (al dente). Both were delicious! My husband had a personal pizza (dinner plate size). Enough for one person but he couldn't finish it. It was loaded with cheese and he added mushrooms to it. He said it was excellent also. I enjoyed the iced tea (unsweetened) while he had Diet Coke. The place was socially distanced and pleasant. The hostess was friendly and the waitress was efficient and accommodating. I highly recommend this lovely restaurant to all. We plan to visit again soon to try some other dishes and appetizers. Met my brother and cousin there last night. Service was quick and very friendly and the food was delicious! I got the gluten-free chicken parm and it was excellent. Dined here recently. We ordered the espresso martini. It was overly sweet, disappointing. I got the Pasta Primavera with Chicken. The chicken was very bland and half of the chicken pieces were chewy; the vegetables included with the meal was simply delicious. I was expecting a white wine infused, and it tasted like there was no wine flavor at all. We also ordered the Frutti De Mari. The muscles were a mediocre; haddock and shrimp were very salty; the whole meal tasted like chicken broth instead of a white wine flavor. The bread was delicious and the olive oil that came with the bread was plentiful, but of poor quality. The highlight of the evening was our server. A week ago I experienced going to Lucciano's Café. I have been there before when they were in their old location a few years ago. I haven't been to the new location until last weekend. I have to say that it was absolutely outstanding! Each one of us got something different and everything was great! The portions were good. The food was fresh and had a great taste to it. The service was outstanding and the desserts to die for as a matter fact we're going back again this weekend so that more of our friends and family can experience it!
