We are visiting from GA and my sister-in-law ordered us pizza from here. They got a pepperoni, ham and pineapple, and a supreme delivered. It was some of the best pizza we have ever eaten! Best damn pizza in the greater Greenfield area, hands down! Employees are ALWAYS friendly. This is my favorite place for pizza.

We recently stopped in at Sofia's to grab some dinner and we have to say that we were slightly dissapointed by our orders. The last two times we have been to Sofia's we have ordered cazones which have tasted great but haven't been to order. This has been a pain because the orders have always been a bit off. The staff here is still great and polite, but haven't been consistent. We still love the pizza here and we will continue to order from this store. We may just hold of on buying their calzones. read more

Sat on hold for 30 minutes, 1 hour before close. Decided to drive there and see if they were just dodging my order or if they were actually busy and continued to sit on hold just Incase my call was answered. My call was never answered, I walked in 20 mins to close and they were cleaning up, both phones on the counter on hold (one was probably me). I didn't order because I didn't want to hold them up any longer. I work in the industry, I totally understand the struggle of wanting to leave on time but this was absurd. I had just cleaned a whole restaurant after a 10 hour shift, locked up for the night and served 3 people after close. What is the excuse? I could've made the order 5 times over by the time I got there. I'll be taking my business else where from now on but I encourage you to give this place a chance despite the experience I had. My favorite Greenfield pizza place. Good fresh ingredients and generous with pizza toppings. Other pizza places in town have a greasy style which really seems to appeal to some people, but Sofia's is much less greasy which I prefer. The online ordering system is great, specialize to your hearts content and your order will still be perfect every time. read more

As much as I love the many pizza options we have in Chicagoland, I have yet to find a place that serves up the Greek style of pie that is common in the northeast. I'm talking about the oily crust, cooked in a pan type of Greek pizza. Needless to say, whenever I'm in Greenfield, I get a huge craving for this type of pizza, and Sofia's has become my go to place. I haven't tried anything other than their pizza, and honestly I can't say I have any intention of doing so. Sofia's pizza is somewhat lighter (cheese & topping wise) than the popular Village Pizza on the other side of town, and that's what I like about it. So much so that picking up a pie from here before checking into my hotel has become routine. read more

I am a long time fan of Village Pizza here in town. But Sophia's is just as good OR better then Village. It was less greasy but still greasy enough, and I really liked the slightly lighter crust. I waited along time to try it but glad I did and we will definitely be back! UPDATE, while the pizza is still very good. The last few times we have gone in to pickup the staff have been very unfriendly and pretty rude. They give the impression that they are too busy to really want to deal with the customers. Sadly leaves less tha the pleasant taste of pizza in one's mouth. read more

All in all an awesome pizza joint. I moved to Greenfield about a year ago and since Sofia's is one of two pizzerias that delivers to my apartment, I have become well acquainted with their offerings. Their bone in wings are delicious. Their chicken tenders are also tasty, but their boneless wings are just chicken tenders soaked in sauce. A little odd. Their pizza crust is soft and chewy and their special pizzas, such as Athena's pesto, are reliably satisfying. The best bang for your buck would be the pasta dinners: an insurmountable portion of homemade sauce, noodles and cheese, fresh garlic bread and a side salad for $8-10. Sofia's, I love you. My family and I have enjoyed Sofia's many times, but this last time will be OUR last time. I called in the order, specifying BLACK pepper on a turkey grinder. When Tessa, the order taker, repeated it back, she said "peppers". Figuring she thought I said "green peppers", I said "That grinder should have black pepper on it, ground black pepper, and not green peppers" to which she said "Oh, like grilled black peppers?" -_- "No, like sprinkly black pepper" (seriously). Then I ordered a cheeseburger grinder, well-done, with lettuce, tomato, cheese, onions, DRY. No dressing. The last item was a cheese-less pizza with pineapple. The order arrived and sure enough, there were GREEN and RED GRILLED PEPPERS on the turkey grinder (the receipt itself said "grilled peppers", after several attempts to order ground black pepper) and the cheeseburger grinder wasn't only NOT well done, but raw in several spots. Not to mention, covered in mayo. The Pizza was fine, but sauce and pineapple is hard to mess up. Now my father and brother are $20 out and have no supper. It looks like we arent alone in getting horrible customer service from Sofia's. The vastly-superior Village pizza will be getting all our business from now on. Thanks for nothing! read more

I just started working at Brown Motors. I'm from the Berkshires and I placed an order with Sophia's today. The girl who answered was very upbeat and polite. My order came within 15 minutes and I must say it was the best pizza I have ever eaten. I wish where I lived there was a place like this. Kudos to them. Great place. read more

Comparable to the pizza at Village Pizza, since they updated their ovens. Actually, Sofia's Pizza stays softer a bit longer as well. Have had a grinder (veggie) on 2/26/13 and it was average. Parking is a bit if a hassle. read more

Not bad but not great. I find the food, particularly their red sauce, to be way too salty. The pizza is good when it's really hot but gets pretty soggy. The delivery is reasonably fast since I live close by. Beware if you are sodium sensitive. read more

It's funny how living with mediocrity for so long makes you forget what it's like to go to a sub shop that takes pride in what they do. I will never eat at another in the area again. Sofia's was my go to pizza place in greenfield. They have excellent food and their delivery is great. I order from there no less than twice a week, (usually delivery to the hospital where I work), but my experience there in person just now cemented me never going there again. When the woman on the phone misheard me and took my order wrong tonight, (something they have never done in the past), the woman at the front counter argued with me over what I had said on the phone and then exclaimed that I must have mumbled. She needed to check with a manager before making the correct calzones for me. I never return food normally but this particular time I did because two out of the four items I ordered were wrong. Sadly I won't be sending business their way again or ordering from there myself. Bottom line : Sofia's has great food at a good price but talk slowly if you're ordering by phone because the people answering will challenge you when you say you got the wrong item. read more

Sofia's pizza in greenfield mass made a buffalo chicken wrap for me. I picked it up and brought it home. As I was about to take a bite in it, a couple flies flew out of it. I called and told them and they said they would deliver another one in a half hour. They took an hour so I called back to see what was going on. They never remade my sandwich. So I asked what they planned on doing for me. They said they will make my sandwich and deliver it in 15 minutes. They took another hour so I called again. The guy I talked to said that he couldn't do anything about it. So another lady named Crissy got on the phone and said call about my issue tomorrow. They had never even remade my sandwich at all that entire time. I'm told I will get refunded tomorrow only if I call. Let's see how it goes tomorrow. They said they cannot do anything for me today because no manager was on duty. read more

This is by far the best pizza in greenfield! The other places I had been before could never seem to get pineapple pizza (my favorite) right. It always seemed pineapple from a can had been absent minded tossed on after cooking. Sophia's had perfectly caramelized pineapple! So delicious! It always hits the spot when I'm craving pizza and the service is always prompt and friendly. This will be a staple of mine from now on! read more

I'm not going to lie and say I've had anything other than the pizza and the honey barbecue boneless wings but what i had is so so good. The boneless chicken wingers extra tender. Sauce full or flavor. The pizza there isn't too much red sauce. Good cheese. Not to grease. Love it read more

I have had numerous problems with this pizza shop. One time I ordered a steak bomb grinder and when I received it the grinder was cold. The owner said he would credit my account for the next time I went in. Well I never got the credit for that item. Then most recently I ordered a grinder with fries and dipping sauce. When the food was finally delivered the sauce was missing which I can deal with. What I cant deal with is finding hair in my grinder. I will not be returning here after these incidents. read more

This place is great! I love their pizza! Very similar to Village Pizza but the crust is a little bit thinner! Holy greek style with amazing sauce! The pepperoni is incredible and OFF THA MEMBRANE! Also the holy chicken fingers and fries and appetizers rule! So happy to have a place like this with many spiritual choices so close to the crib, right around the corner in fact! I really like Sophia's. It's our go-to place when we want pizza delivered. The Georgio's calzone and chicken and bacon Alfredo are amazing, too. They generally deliver pretty quickly, and the delivery guys are great. I wouldn't recommend dining in, it's crowded and loud, but some people are into that! Went to order fries and the person taking my order was extremely rude and clearly doesn't know customer service. She was a negative unpleasant presence and I'm surprised that a place would hire someone who's short and uninterested with the customers. She had some red in her hair didn't get the name. I really like Sofia's. I like the selections available, the pesto! I like the people who work there too ... they are always cheerful and helpful. I like that they collect aluminum tabs from soda cans for the Shriners. I love that they support Greenfield Recreation with deep discounts and occasional gifts of pizza for the kids programs. It is all terrific and I think I am going to order a Sofia Pizza for dinner tonight, I know that I'll love it! read more
