Please read to the end: I worked there for nearly 2 years. You are better off eating out of a dumpster then putting their "food" in your mouth. I was financially very hard-up at the time, so I just went to work and did my job - but I take my oath... The following events really happened : 1.) Food that was literally dropped on the floor, sneezed on, and partially eaten by people working there was served to customers. 2.) Cooking tools (spatulas, rollers, etc) were dropped on the floor and stepped on - then immediately used without so much as being wiped off, never mind cleaned. 3.) Food that had sat in a customer's trash "overnight" was served to another customer the next day. 4.) Women working there would pick their feet and pull loose hair out of their hairbrushes then make the food with the same bare hands, YES ..WITHOUT WASHING THEM. 5.) When the owner and his relatives go on break, they eat without utensils then go right back to making food, and yet again... yes! without washing them! 6.) The owner is a spoiled rich kid from India who's family is extremely wealthy. He gets away with all of this because he has the Board of health guy in his pocket and the Board of health in this area is a joke to begin with. He parades around that place like Gordon Ramsey, yet doesn't have the business sense God gave a fish. 7.) They will say I'm a jaded driver who's talking smack because I was fired. I got yelled at for not using.. I repeat NOT USING A NEWSPAPER TO CLEAN THE BATHROOM MIRROR....after I literally worked on a broken foot for 6 months and did all the side work myself while everyone else sat around and vaped on their phones. This pizza is so bad that when our employer ordered it as a treat, we took it as an insult. The pizzas were made earlier in the day and then microwaved to Hell, so that they were a dried up and inedible mess. They could have taken a picture of a pizza, and printed it on cardboard, and it would have tasted better than what we got. Some of us actually got sick from eating it. I've had their pizza three times in the last five years and each time it seems to get worse. I ordered 59 dollars worth of food as a treat for my daughter and her friend and myself. I ordered extra sauces such as honey mustard and bbq, none on bag. The biggest deal was my vegetarian sub, I ordered extra lettuce, extra tomatoes, added gorgonzola, the cheese tasted awful and I eat that kind very often, my sub was untoasted and should have been, the amount of veggies was far from extra, it was less than they actually put regularly. The bread was stale. The worst part is when I called o just asked next time I call please make sure these things are corrected. The so called manager was far from nice and full of excuses, she couldn't or refused to say it would not happen again. She was rude and unkind. I believe I was overcharged. Food was delivered barely lukewarm, no utensils. We ordered icecream which was unmelted leading me to believe our food sat there on a counter not in a hot bag or on top of the pizza oven. We ordered 2 pieces of cake, the Mississippi mudpie is obviously not fresh and tasted bad compared to when we got it before. All I wanted was to be treated kindly with understanding and guaranteed next time this would not happen. She refused to do that with class, instead is was with a cant be bothered attitude. Last night we bought dinner at Goodies, and I have to say that the food we bought was pretty good. We started our meal with their appetizer sampler which included onion rings, chicken tenders, and mozzarella sticks. They were all good, but not the best I have ever had. For dinner we had their chicken Alfredo which was delicious. The sauce was creamy, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and it was not dry like some other restaurants in the area. The bread stick that they gave us with our meal were also tasty and not dry like some bread you get from other restaurants. Overall the food we had was good, but at times we have had other meals from this place with a different experience. The staff is always polite, the place is clean, and it is nice that they delivery! read more

Whenever we have Pizza, Grinders, or Calzones from Goodies we've not had any issues, but I am giving this review 3stars for the Chicken Broccoli Alfredo dinner we got from there a couple of weeks ago. I hadn't ordered a pasta dinner from there for a yr or so, and wondered if I'd been given a simple Melted Butter or Garlic sauce?!but there was no such menu choice The chicken was good, and the broccoli was OK, but the Alfredo 'Sauce' was nothing more than melted butter & Parmesan cheese!! ALSO- Garlic Bread is still part of the entre, but what's happened to the Salad that used to be included? Because of that missing, and the size of the Pasta/Chic. portion being smaller now, shouldn't the price be lower? We feel your local competitor Pizza places aren't necessarily better re.other Menu choices on par with yours, but saddly since an Alfredo dinner is a 'usual' choice of ours for Fri Nite take-out, we won't be ordering from Goodies. I had the veggie wrap which was overall good though it could have used a little more cheese. The vegetables tasted fresh and had the right amount of oil on them. They included a bag of chips which I did not expect, and which was just enough with the wrap to fill me up. A pickle was also included. They don't get rolling until 11 so if you get hungry for their type of food earlier in the day you have to go to Subway. read more

I would like to counter the review that stated they argued and" played the race card". My family witnessed the entire interaction, (including when the gentleman sat down and stated he hadn't set foot in this restaurant in 10 years because of who owned it and commented they should open an Indian restaurant elsewhere and how much he hates curry?) The employee who served the food, attempting to clarify that the rest of the toppings were correct was met with yelling and condescendence. Ge calmly stated that the gentleman didn't need to raise his voice. He remedied the situation, politely returned the corrected order with a "here you go my friend; enjoy!" at which time the gentleman then made a snarky remark about the portion size and stated he was "no friend of his!" and continued to harass the employee. When the employee finally called him out, politely, on the disrespect he had been displaying since entering the establishment, he was told to "just serve me and get out back where you belong." The gentleman, and I use that term loosely, ate his meal, in its entirety, while loudly leaving his nasty yelp review. Meanwhile, the employee who had to deal with this, took the time to privately apologize to my family for having to witness the scene. I told him he didn't need to apologize to us, my kids recognized and were appalled at the behavior of this adult. Our experience was friendly staff, good portions, great tasting food and a lesson in grace as this employee treated this customer with far more grace than he deserved as I would have had him escorted out if it were me! read more

The sub was embarrassing. One piece!! of roast beef was hidden among a gigantic pile of shredded iceberg lettuce. When I moved here 2003 this place was amazing. The food was great, the cost was reasonably high, but the premium quality made that acceptable. A lot has CHANGED in 10 years. The quality has fallen off as the grease content had risen to disgusting levels. The prices have gone through the roof and are not accurately reflected in the outdated menus (of which they are legally obligated to honor, good luck with that). With options like Turners Falls Pizza, Village, and Antonio's in the area there is no need to indulge their overly inflated prices and grease obsessions. read more

Honestly, I was surprised to see that Goodies only has three stars. Of course there are a few people that think the high prices are enough to justify one star reviews. Yeah, the prices are high, but I find the food to be worth it. I've gotten the chicken bacon ranch calzone a number of times, and it's marvelous. I've gotten the pizza a few times, and it was very good. I got the lasagna once and it wasn't bad, but it wasn't worth mentioning either. First off, let me start by saying that I never taken the time to write a review. Infact, I created a yelp profile just to post this. As a new resident of Greenfield, I was eager to try out Goodie's as they have a very promising appearance and menu but NEVER in my life have I been so disappointed by a pizza place. I am not even sure where to start. I guess I'll begin with the pizza itself, me and my wife ordered a large pizza (take out) with bacon, green peppers, hamburg and onions and the toppings were not even at all. The green peppers were pretty much all on one side and it was obvious that they rushed making it with zero effort. The "hamburg" was almost comical, the pieces were literally the size of parsley flakes! Unreal Next, I'll mention how we ordered fries and they did not give us any ketchup and we also got mozzarella sticks that were actually decent but the marinara sauce that came with them was very watery to the point that you could have drank it through a straw! I have saved the worse for last... I am a man who loves his wings and I swear on everything that domino's wings are 10 times better than the crap they serve at Goodie's. They were literally worse than the frozen wings that you buy at 711. The size of these wings were straight up EMBARRASSING!! Besides the pathetic size they basically had no flavor and the worse part of all, there was no texture. They pretty much had a soggy texture. I couldn't even finish them. What a shame Trust me, I am far from a picky eater, like I said... I have never even wrote a review on a restaurant in my entire life until now. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do NOT waste your money on this crap. I say with zero exaggeration that you will have a better meal at Mcdonald's. This is the worst pizza place that I have ever experienced.
