I've waited 6 months to write this review, mainly because I do not like to write negative reviews…read more But I feel compelled to write it because it started our vacation off in a very stressful manner. I wanted to hire a service to pick us up from the airport because we had never been to Fort Lauderdale and were not familiar with the area. We landed and after getting our luggage, I immediately contacted the driver. Only then was I told that our driver would not be meeting us in the baggage claim area, which is what I specifically requested. Looking back at our emails, I missed where the pickup was pointed out in the email, it's my fault that I didn't understand we would not be met in the baggage claim area, so that's on me. But I should have addressed it before our trip. I spoke with the driver, who had a very heavy accent and I had a lot of difficulty understanding him, which he sounded very annoyed about. He told us he could not pick us up in front of the arrival area and we had to go to the right at the end of the terminal. All we saw at the end of the terminal was an unlit area. This is exactly what I wanted to avoid. The pickup area had very little light. But we proceeded forward, picked a spot and I called the driver again. When he showed up and saw my mobility scooter, it seemed to make him very mad. I had specifically requested a van, just to accommodate our luggage and my scooter, and I had communicated to Jiffy Jeff I had a scooter. He was very rude and irritated and kept saying it was not going to fit (keep in mind, it was a VAN). It took me several minutes to explain that we could take the scooter apart to get it in the van. Finally, after I started disassembling my scooter, and he begrudgingly help load the parts in the van. As two women, I did not like getting into a van with a man who was visibly angry, but we did. My sister and I were very uncomfortable. On the drive, I tried asking him questions about the area, for example, "is that downtown Fort Lauderdale?" And he said "That's not where we're going." I said, "I understand, but I just want to know if that is downtown." Again he snapped at me saying "that's not where we're going." We spent $160 (including the $30 tip we we begrudgingly gave him) to go from Fort Lauderdale Airport to the Hilton by the cruise port, which is 4 miles and about a 15 minute drive. It was NOT worth it. Needless to say, I will NOT be using this company again and will just take an Uber XL.

We had a delay getting our luggage during an early morning arrival into FLL. Our driver kept constant contact with us and promptly arrived at our location once we indicated we had our luggage. Jeff was very nice though (despite being visibly sick - though he says it was allergies; hard to know for certain as a passenger), and he was early, and got us to the airport fine. He did talk, run our CC, and look at things on his phone all while driving, which felt a bit unsafe. He did mention he usually doesn't drive and is in the office, and complained about not liking Terminal 2 at the port and "everyone at the company" hating Miami Airport. He also got on a bit of a rant about people spending money/incurring debt on credit cards. There was no water offered (which is usually customary at this price point and expected level of service). Did we get from a to b, yes. But if you're looking for a higher end experience, be warned that this may not be it and was certainly not what the competition provides.

This company was so efficient and courteous and got us there right on time both ways. They picked us up in a super clean MERCEDES VAN. They sent an email confirmation before the trip and called us the day of to verify our pickup. On our return trip there was a group of people who wanted to get in the van; however the driver told them "no" because he had already rented it out to us. There was room for them but the driver gave us a private ride....it was so nice. I definitely recommend this company for transportation when you're in the Miami or Fort Lauderdale area. We will use them again next time we need shuttle service. They charge $15 per person for 1-4 people and $13 per person for groups of 5 or more.
