I got Beef shish & chicken lule both were outstanding abs the rice was perfect with a nice saffron flavor. The salad was nice and light and a perfect contrast towards everything else. 11/10 definitely will be back soon.

This Shawarma is absolute GOLD. I gave this place a try as I was shopping. I drove 20 minutes to go home and the food was still hot. This was delicious. I am a picky eater with my Shawarma and this exceeded my expectations

Raymond the friendly owner is a master chef who has exceptional quality for making the best kebab in the world. Rice is perfect with some sort of small berries which go so well with salad and the flavorful meat. His hummus and garlic sauce are ridiculously good. The chicken thighs and beef lule are the best I've ever had. As a kebab lover I highly recommend this fine restaurant.

Terrible experience at Sofra was so disappointing I felt compelled to share. The guy at the counter was extremely rude dismissive, impatient, and acted like answering basic questions was a burden. On top of that, they don't even have hummus. How does a Mediterranean restaurant not offer hummus? It's literally a staple. Between the poor customer service and lack of basic menu items, I won't be returning.

Placed an order on Doordash based on all the positive reviews on both doordash and yelp without realizing that I have already had a bad experience with their food in the past The food was Disgusting! The Lule didnt taste anything like chicken or meat at all. I could only taste bitterness because ( and its only my guess) of the spices they have used or whatever they have put in the mixture to make the lule. There was NO taste of chicken at all! I couldnt push myself to eat it because I didnt want to get sick after. Please dont trust the positive reviews!!! Avoid this place at all costs, if you care about your money and your health. p.s I love Mediterranean food and have tried so many places in LA, but this one has been the worst so far ‍ read more

I stopped by and tried a Chicken Shawarma pita. The meat was moist and the ingredients were very thoughtfully assembled. Cilantro, onion, pickle, lettuces and a sweet mayo. Each bite was tasty, fresh and deliciously savory. A welcome addition to our valley! I'll be back! read more

This place is FIRE. Its right near Magic Mountain and the Valencia Mall. We stopped here for dinner after hanging out at Magic Mountain. We were feeling some Arabic and Mediterriean food. I ordered Chicken Shawarma and hummus and Falafel bread. Nice place with a cafe looking style place. Great people and food here. Service is good. Hope to come back again soon. read more

Absolutely delicious, fresh, and authentic! We came in towards the end of the night as they were closing and chef was so welcoming and told us if we could wait 30 minutes, he'd make us a meal fresh. Got the fire fries and asked to add some meat. Unfortunately idk if the staff didn't hear me but once I went home to eat it was just fries with sauce. The sauce was watery and not flavorful at all. Loved the feta. Customer service was great, guy at register had lots of energy and was very helpful. Will be back to try something else I think the fries weren't the best. read more

This place was just ok. It was very hard to find, Google maps kept trying to take me to the back of the complex. It's inside the grocery store. We ordered the sampler platter to-go. The food was just ok. Some of the items were a little strange and others were familiar, but not great. Fair warning, be careful with the hot peppers. I like spicy food, so I popped one in my mouth. It was the hottest pepper I've ever had. Took quite a while to get my mouth to stop burning. read more

I ordered the Sofreh combo that feeds 3. It came with 4 skewers ( 2 chicken shish kebob and 2 beef luleh) tons of rice, tomatoes, jalapenos, a big side salad, hummus, and pitas. This definitely serves more than 3, and the flavor was really good. We'll definitely be back again. read more

We discovered Sofreh not too long ago and now my family is hooked! We order at least twice a week. I'm Persian and have eaten kebab since I was a kid. Ordered on GrubHub. The food looked good in its container but tastes horrible there was a weird aftertaste. The shish chicken had no flavoring and the beef Lula taste even worse. I know what I'm talking about because I have ordered several middle eastern food around my area before and this one is the worst. Sam's flaming grill is even better and more consistent. The dest one is in NewHall area where the have a restaurant that has hookah. I felt nauseous after I ate half of it and I ate the salad more but I had no choice because I paid for it already and did not want to waste food. Bottom line food was disappointing! read more

Ordered twice from this place and not only the food was great but the staff is amazing. The first time I ordered was for 10 people in advance. I went to the Sofreh on Newhall, they told me there was no food for me. After finding out I had called the wrong location and almost having a panic attack, the manager/chef at the Newhall location told me he would have it ready in 20 minutes. He saved the day and made sure I had everything. The food was soooo good and my guests loved it! The second time my wife ordered, she didn't realize that she didn't order greens. Again, he helped her out and made sure we had enough of everything for everyone. The food was really good. Really thankful to this place! read more

I really enjoy Mediterranean food both because it's tasty and also very healthy. Sofreh popped up when I was craving some and I decided to try and I was not disappointed. A lot of options and very authentic tasting. The price is a little high but when you get the food and see the portions it is justifiable. I absolutely loved the Lule combo and will forsure get it again. Only one gripe I had is that I called it in for pickup and when I arrived when I was told to it seemed like the guy still had to prepare it which took a while. He was working by himself so I decided not to knock a star off because the food was really that good. I highly recommend this place. read more

Super easy and friendly I frequently call in an order to this place while I'm working for 22 bucks you can get a very large plate of beef and chicken with rice and salad. It is enough to easily split with two people or save some for dinner the owner is very friendly and the food is always ready when I get there this is the best Mediterranean food in this valley better than all of the couple of big chains that we have out here. This place has potential but I'm very disappointed. My salad was made almost entirely of croutons with very little lettuce. The meat was placed directly on top of my pita bread, which was completely soggy by the time I made it home to eat my plate. The meat is decent and the rice is good. Meh, so I would have to disagree with the other reviews that this place tastes sooooo good and its way better than Zankou and Gyromanio. For starters they are wayyyyy overpriced a portion of food same as Zankou and so much more in cost. The garlic add on pass, it was mixed with something else that didn't taste too great. I just wanted a small $1 portion, the worker said all out and gave me the big one that was way more expensive. Then you have the sauce that was ontop of the chicken that was weird and oddly sweet. Im glad I gave it a try, but don't think Ill be coming back. read more

Flash forward to 2026, it's a Monday around 8pm and knowing that this place doesn't close until 10pm, we figured we'd give it a shot. We arrived around 8:20pm, and asked for a table for 2. We were immediately directed into the bar which I thought was a little odd but I figured maybe they had just cleaned the main dining room for the night and it would be easier for them if they sat us in the bar. There was one customer at the bar, but he left about ten minutes into us arriving. After the bartender closed his tab out, she came to our table and took our order. She offered us bread, but it never came out. We started with an order of the figs prosciutto and salami flatbread, and the Monterey Bay tempura calamari. Both dishes came out in about 12 minutes. My partner and I enjoyed the calamari but were more impressed with the flatbread. The way the fig, and cheese, and prosciutto all blended with one another was deliciously sweet and savory. Once the appetizers came out, we put in an order for our entrees and drinks. My partner got a watermelon spritz, and I got a sparkling water. For dinner, my partner ordered the Penne Bolognese and I ordered the Linguine Pesto. The entrees took about an additional 20 minutes to whip up. I think if you're in the mood for pasta, these are both great picks. Personally, I thought the Penne Bolognese had more meat than I would have preferred, but I recognize that I'm not a huge meat eater, and for someone like my partner who has to have meat in every meal, it was incredible. My Linguine Pesto was perfectly cooked, cheesy, and the pesto flavors were prominent. I'm guessing this is a one off thing, but when we were seated in the bar area - I was getting bit by mosquitos like crazy. When I got home, I had at least 3 bites on my stomach, and then a handful running down my leg. To be honest, mosquitos love me, so I normally wouldn't have mentioned this but my partner who doesn't typically get bit as much as I do, started getting attacked too and we had to leave because we were so itchy. Overall the food here is fantastic - and I think would be a great date night spot. For 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and 2 drinks (1 alcoholic) our bill was $115 subtotal. We added a spanakopita, and it had wonderfully flaky philo dough and tasty filling. With the sandwiches, there was enough left over to take home and reheat in our air fryer. I haven't tried the dolma but look forward to those on a future visit. The shop is easy to access from I-5, just a little way off the freeway. It's in a shopping center, so there are many other restaurant and store options nearby, including a stuffed cookie shop right next door that is tempting. Counter service, with a few tables inside. Flavorful, chicken cooked perfectly and not sitting in an overly creamy sauce. I also enjoyed a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, crisp and lovely, and upon inquiry, learned it is not available in stores!
