    Donberry drink

Sofrito Greenville was an amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service made everything feel effortless and welcoming. I tried the Donberry drink and it was refreshing, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The ribeye steak board was just as impressive, cooked beautifully and packed with rich, savory flavor. Every bite felt thoughtfully prepared. This is definitely a spot I would recommend and look forward to visiting again.

We stopped in for drinks and asked the bartender his specialty, He said Mojitos and he was right. The mojitos was delicious and refreshing. We also ordered a Coco'rita which was just as delicious. We would definitely order them again. This is a fun little place with a great bar. Lots of happy people

A great place for Latino food!!! We came here Wednesday night and found out that it's ladies night, which means all margaritas are 50% off! What a deal! We definitely took advantage of it. We started with two appetizers - fried green plantain and chorizo queso dip with chips (they're both on the happy hour menu). We ordered Roasted Mojo Pork Mofongo with Trifongo (mixed mashed sweet plantain, green plantain and yuca). This is my first time trying mofongo and it was amazing. It's very flavorful and the pork was a bit crunchy and juicy. I loved trifongo. We also tried Cuban Beef Bowl that comes with beef stew, cabbage, beans, corn, rice, etc. The portion was big and it's packed with flavors. Note: If you want to take advantage of happy hour price, arrive much earlier than 6pm. We tried to order off the happy hour menu at 5:57pm but they wouldn't honor it. Overall, we had a very good meal. The waitress was friendly. There's a bar area and dining booths, plenty of space.

Sophisticated little gem in Greenville. Outdoor seating is available. I had both the port and steak mofongo's and each were awesome! Service was prompt and attentive. The ambiance is relaxed with outdoor seating available. Highly recommend!

The food was amazing, they have different options that go from tacos to Cuban sandwiches to mofongo and more. A lot of good dishes and at a good price. The service was really good and the ambiance was calm with some nice music in the background.

Welp, went here based off a review by word of mouth and it was a fail. As a Puerto Rican, the food was flavorless. The shrimp tasted just like tomato sauce, the beans tasted like soap. The mofongo was alright, but have definitely had better. More lemony than garlic. Left 50%+ of both meals uneaten. Honestly, the salad was the best part outside of the drinks. Wish I could say it was as good as some of the other reviews but not sure that we'd be back. Chips with cilantro garlic sauce given to us as the server forgot about us at one point after ordering drinks. The place inside seemed spacious, but we did enjoy having a seat on the patio for a change.

We were looking for a new place to try and after looking at this restaurants menu we decided it was a good one to check out. We weren't disappointed. Started with drinks guavarita and passion fruit mojito both were good but enjoyed the passion fruit mojito better. For appetizer had the queso and chorizo dip. For entree had the mojo pork and chicken mofongo. Good portion and flavorful

    Not a bad price

This was a great place to stop at, it's definitely not to be confused with any Mexican restaurant, it is a Latin American restaurant with all of the south, central, and Caribbean American flavor. The first person I met was extremely friendly and didn't hesitate to speak to me in Latin American. The atmosphere is great, there is an average size bar on one side and the decor is simple but reinforces the Latin flair. I ordered lunch with the three seafood tacos, Mahi-Mahi, fried shrimp, and grilled shrimp. And to drink I had the Guava juice and water. The two shrimp tacos were phenomenal, just enough flavor and sweetness with not too much cabbage. But, the mahi-mahi taco was a bit on the dry side. If I ate it first it could have been better. I would recommend this place to others and I plan on returning for dinner. Well done.

I came here with a friend who really wanted to try this place. The restaurant is smaller than I thought but we got sat right away. You can tell that there were a lot of regulars here. We sat at a two top by the bar. The server was friendly but she was a little slow and not very attentive. We started off with the yuca fries. They came out piping hot with a delicious dipping sauce. It was my first time trying yuca fries. My friend has had them plenty of times and said she didn't really care for them. I got the El Burro. It was good but on the smaller end and came out lukewarm. My friend got the tacos combination and thought they were good. The rice and beans were good and came with a generous portion. I'm glad they are opening up a different location. I do like this place and I would try something different next time.

It was a special of the month, but it was fat laden and inedible. Our conclusion was that the regular kitchen crew might have been on spring break, but it took several months for me to convince my wife (and mother-in-law) to return on a recent, rainy Saturday at lunch. One bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch, so one bad meal after many great ones follows suit. I will say that sometimes there is inconsistency's in the dishes. I've had the pulled pork poutine when it was excellent with crisp fries and fluffy interior with that gravy and I've had it where it was a soupy and limp mess. But most times, the food is good. And that's the draw, it's a scratch kitchen. But it's also a bar. A sports bar. A great craft beer bar. But it comes with bar decor, and it sounds like a bar. It can be noisy. It can be empty or crowded. Depends. But the wait staff is usually hustling to cover the floor and in busy times the bartender or kitchen helps run food, so you just have to look at the whole thing and love it as a great neighborhood bar. We will come back, our burgers were excellent and the wings are consistently good. I think they might work on an in between buffalo sauce, the medium is not hot enough and the hot (or hottest) is so hot as to drown flavor. But that's just a nit to pick. I'm glad that we returned and had a good experience.

The sandwich, overall, had an ok flavor. Nothing to get excited about. And I know it was on a Friday and they were busy, but I believe my food had been sitting for a bit before it was brought out because the bread wasn't soggy, but it was damp like the sandwich juices has been absorbed. And the pickles weren't much better. You could tell they were fried pickles but really lacked flavor. And the fried were like eating mashed potato strips. No outer coating like they were sliced and baked. Second time was the lemon pepper wings. They were basic chicken wings. There was some lemon pepper seasoning, but it was still very bland. They didn't make the glands explode. The pretzel bites (so far) has been the best item I've had there yet. Cooked well and the cheese dip did have a great flavor. I'll go back again just to make sure maybe I didn't go on two bad nights.

Really good food that we enjoyed thoroughly. Very interesting menu-fusion of many cuisines featuring many ingredients that found their way into places one would not expect. With happy results! I had the salmon moussaka. The salmon was delicious-slightly blackened. Great quality salmon. Paired nicely with the lovely tzatziki and accompanied by salad heavy with toasted garbanzos and mucho quinoa, 'cukes, endive-heavy greens and a spot on bright dressing. Sister had black bean burger on dressed bun that was accompanied by perfectly prepared steak fries with house made ketchup that had a slight heat to it. Really good as well. Kitchen staff nailed the preparation and everything came out perfectly. First meal out in Greenville (as we cook). I could not have been more pleased. Great value for the price. Certainly not inexpensive, but not outrageous. I will definitely be "stealing" this moussaka dish and presentation for my wife the minute I return home! Menu is in transition per our wait person, and one interesting dish was not available. And a croquette dish had been substituted the croquettes for a latke-like pancake (I presume)-not a croquette. Extremely friendly to the veg crowd! Seems like a great kitchen and well run restaurant. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere is very inviting... clean lines.... clean restaurant... terrific attentive service. We looked for a restaurant in the Greenville area that offered vegan and non vegan options. So this fit the bill. Richard said the veggie burger was a bit too soft for his liking. I say that in reference to a vegan burger we had in Berlin that was quite meaty in texture. I think using pea protein really makes a difference in texture... it is used more overseas than in the US. I had the zucchini and potato arepa. It was very tasty and quite filling!!!! A little too heavy for me for lunch... very hearty option. Our waitress was right there when we needed her, kept our water glasses filled, which is important to me because I drink a lot of water at meals. Our daughter had the Brussel sprouts, which she said were delicious. Serving sizes are good!!

Not exactly la dolce vita. Thankfully, carbs save the day. Everything was house made. The handmade pasta was made with flour flown in from Italy! I had the casarecce which had light and well-balanced bacon and lemon flavors. My date had the the "whole" branzino, which despite described as "whole" came already de-boned and without the head. It was crispy, golden, and serving main character energy with its unique presentation. Frutti di mare was... there. I didn't think the flavors were anything to write home from Italy about. Though, the presentation was impeccable, I must admit. Whitney, our server, deserves a standing ovation! She was part waitress, part Italian food narrator, and made every dish sound like it had a backstory which honestly just elevates the whole experience. And the lemon cheesecake is worth saving room for. Flavors were bright, dreamy, and worth every calorie. My only regret is skipping the house-made focaccia.
